I really like the layout, it’s well maintained, and even though it be packed you can always get your intended workout. They need to add some more massage chairs but this location is great compared to one closer to where I’m located.

☆Update: 11/24/2024 It's a shame that the CryoLounges are broken yet again. No sign. I inquired at the front desk. The attitude was less than professional. She said, "Yeah, they don't work, and that's why the door was closed." The door is always closed. Why isn't there a sign? Where's the courtesy? The lack of customer service here needs to be addressed. Update: I called to see if the CryoLounges were working. I was assured that they were operational. I drove all the way there just to find out they are still both OUT OF SERVICE! What a waste of time and gas. ☆☆☆Update: 09/17/2024 They list 2 stars. UNFORTUNATELY, the other reviews are RIGHT! I only came here for the CryoLounges but they're all broken. I called and was told the CryoLounges will be OUT OF SERVICE for 1 to 2 WEEKS!!! It's time to move on. ☆☆☆☆☆ 09/05/2024 EōS 43rd Ave and Glendale is my new home gym!!! I signed up years ago at a different location. However, I hated going to the gym until today. This location is clean. The recovery room is spacious, and all of the machines actually work. The staff is kind and friendly even early in the morning. Thank you guys, I'm actually looking forward to working out again.

This gym is a “I gotta go workout at my gym”. The atmosphere is great. Machines are fairly new. People there are great. But Sara, I gotta say she is spectacular. She helped me sign up and is very knowledgeable. She has a great personality and makes you feel like I have to.l come back to workout.

Loving this gym! The classes are awesome! Has a really fun friendly vibe. I love the movie room to walk on the treadmill and the massage chair and cryo lounge.

DISGUSTING? YOU BE THE JUDGE. This is a basic essentials gym with pool, shared sauna, and workout equipment. No massage chairs, no hot tub, etc. I don't understand how such a simple gym could be this poorly managed. The hot water doesn't work, but you don't find out until you're in the shower, post workout. There's roaches in the women's locker room. There's poop pray dried up on the walls. Every toilet was dirty. The pool landing was so filthy. The sauna smelled terrible. It was unbearable, nauseating! The amount of filth in there was astonishing. See pics and video.

I’ve been going here for nearly three years. Never really had any issues. Recently a very kind and helpful employee, Nicole, helped me retrieve something that I had lost under one of the stair masters. She was so willing to help and didn’t make me feel bad about asking for assistance at all! She’s also always very eager to greet people walking in and wishing people out the door a good rest of their day!

Can’t cancel membership! Plus if you’re late or money not in the automatic withdrawal they will double and then triple your payment in a month! Let’s say it’s $25, no cash? A couple days later they will charge $50 then $75 and so on. After getting a new phone I got $150 in one month because they kept trying an old account and I didn’t receive my notifications This place is the worst!

Brian / “tarzan” was amazing with assisting me with my membership over the holidays ! He was very friendly , & professional whilst still answering every question I needed ! Had a few phone calls that led up to my in person appointment & not once was I uncomfortable . It’s nice to see more people with genuine personalities in sales ! Ethan was amazing as well I called a few times regarding some unauthorized & random charges neither I or the employees had record of from eos , & even though I’m still waiting on that being worked out by his hire ups he managed to do what he could to inform me everything I needed to know & who to expect calls from to have it all resolved . He kept a positive attitude & turned my inconveniences into a positive conversation about what to expect from management . Great save Ethan !

Not too happy with how the memberships work if you wanna downgrade they charge you $50 if you wanna cancel your membership they submit a request. They don’t actually cancel it which means it can take many days before it even gets processed and the keyword here is processed, which means your cancellation may not be approved. Which personally I think is dumb. You should be able to cancel whenever you want like advertised so if you’re gonna get a membership here take in consideration how difficult it will be to change your future membership pricing or cancel it as for their option to freeze your membership if you’re gonna be inactive, they charge you five dollars a month and they’re only allowed to do that for up to three months. Anything that you want to have done or changed to your membership has to go above the managers meaning despite you asking them to do something, it’s your job to follow up with them to see if it’s even getting done you don’t know who’s getting it done and they don’t follow up with you as promised so a little unhappy with how Inconvenient the process is but in general, the amenities are fine. The team is OK. Their customer service isn’t bad but it’s just the way that the financing behind it That is a little inconvenient.

This has been the worst experience with the personal trainers I have ever had. From being ghosted by the trainer. Told they would cancel my personal training sessions but in fact did not. Management didn't even notate what was discussed during conversation so no proof of the problem. Given the run around when trying to speak to managers.

Edit: this review was meant for the 83rd avenue and Thunderbird location. The gym is small, missing the real equipment that makes a gym a gym bare amenities. If you want personal training I would avoid this location. I’ve had 2 personal trainers leave since I’ve gotten a membership and have had to start all over, now I can’t even get through to anybody to schedule or stop and they are still charging my card $88 every two weeks for hour sessions that arent happening because they don’t have any trainer now that can work with my schedule which is literally Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Avoid this place if you can drive the extra few miles to the Camelback and 83rd Avenue location or go to the one across from Banner Thunderbird. You’ll thank me later and so will your wallet.

I absolutely love this gym! Really clean and easily accessible equipment with a ton of cool amenities! Also, I want to say that Elena was a huge help! She was so informative and patient with all of the ( millions ) of questions I had! I was intimated at first but she made me feel super motivated and eager to begin my fitness journey with how welcoming she was!

The gym was well equipped with both machines and free weights. Spacious and clean. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. Always enjoy walking in and being greeted with a friendly smile and knowledgeable staff that know the gym equipment well. I would like to thank Payton for her kindness and generosity for a newbie to the gym! Top tier gym! Would recommend to any skill level.

The facility looks nice, but it's a facade. The sales and billing tactics are truly disgusting. They don't let you read contracts before signing. They will fail to meet expectations they express to you verbally, and refuse to do anything about issues when asked. If you ask to cancel, they do this whole "I have to ask my manager, who is not availale now" song and dance (I presume in order to delay your cancellation as long as possible). In the end, if you're truly ready to find a gym that's a better fit, they'll try to make you think you're in a contract that can't be cancelled. They threaten to send you to collections. I workout for the endorphins. Don't need this crap. Going to another gym. If they treated members with any courtesy, I would have loved to stay. But they just can't muster it.

4 star gym 1 star personal training. Trainers are good, but deceptive sales practices and salesmen that over promise set the trainers up for failure/not able to meet expectations. I was promised way more than my trainer (who is great) has been able to deliver. When I try and discuss it with management they have all kinds of excuses and promise call backs or solutions that never materialize. Do not waste your time. Take your money elsewhere.

Played here and I am very disappointed in the shape of the course. Almost like playing a dirt track with how little and dry grass there is outside the fairway. Even on the fairway it feels rock solid at times. They seriously need to get their fairways and rough in order. Also fix your sand traps please each one has different levels and consistency of sand, some are super fluffy and some don’t even have sand so it’s like chipping off dirt. Don’t even get me started on the legend that place is even worse. Such a shame because they both have really solid layouts the club just doesn’t seem to prioritize keeping it in good condition.

Magical Day Starts with A Magical Team Booking the Country Club for our Wedding Venue was the best choice. The ease of having a large well lit designated place to get ready, shaded ceremony, indoor and outdoor cocktail and reception capabilities was a dream. Kaitlynn Gaer seamlessly worked with all of our vendors and large family to make sure everything came together. She felt like part of our family. It was really all hands on deck to plan and execute our wedding in less then 2 months. We couldn’t be more grateful for Kaitlynn and all the staff at the country club. They even thought about the small details and moved some of our decor from the wedding ceremony down to the reception for us including our arch. They did all of this while my guest ate and drank to merriment and my Groom and I walked around the golf course with our photographer. I am still in awe over all the beautiful spots to take our wedding photos at. We found some beautiful stone paths, trees, ponds and of course the quintessential bridge to photograph our wedding day at. The food at the reception was far better then imagined. I know it was my own wedding but it was the best food I have had at anyone’s wedding yet. Also, ask my family they couldn’t believe how savory their food was. Thank you Arrowhead Country Club for making our iconic day so special.

I just left this club as a member after 5 years hoping that Arcis would improve the experience but it only became worse. I can’t speak much to the gym or tennis but the golf course is the equivalent of maybe a 2 or 3 ⭐️ course on golf now. They’ve oversold the membership so I wish you luck getting a tee time during peak playing times. They use a lottery system which is funny because the same 5 groups seems to get the first 5 slots 🤔 The club has turned over most of the leadership roles at the club multiple times during my time as a member mostly because they’ve tried to lean on corporate to make the necessary improvements. A close friend who is a tennis member explained that they’ve let all but 3 of 9 tennis courts go to waste. They have major cracks and bubbles on the playing surface that alter the direction of the ball which is a safety hazard and have no future plans to make improvements. I believe there is a tree that has grown into ones of the courts that Interferes with play. You can’t make this stuff up. What’s important to understand is that this isn’t a private country club managed by members. It’s a club owned by a property management company that is trying to optimize their profit at the expense of the member but there’s good news. They continue to oversell the membership and they’ve decided to more than double the initiation fee and increase the monthly dues. My suggestion is that if you’re considering this club. Ask to go walk the course, physically go down and walk onto all of the tennis courts to see their condition, ask how many golfing members there are and what their cap is. Private courses shouldn’t exceed 250 to 300 golfing members per course and they now are pushing 750 across two courses and continue to sell more. The course is really beat up because of too much play. And remember the kids that are selling you the membership are just that…they are kids just trying to make a living and selling you an experience they really doesn’t exist. I should have left a while ago but I enjoyed the members I called friends. The goal of their post is not to bash Arcis because I know they can do better but more trying to help everyone go in with their eyes wide open. No one likes to get duped. Happy New Year…let’s all make 2025 the best year yet. To the other members who might read this things can only get better when the truth is exposed and you all have a voice.

Stephanie, CJ and Dan - Our family can’t thank you enough for the amazing service and support for our precious Meg McConnaughy’s Celebration of Life ♥️ from the responsive support with turnaround on when we needed to schedule all the way to the day of the service from arranging the room, attention to details and insuring A/V support. On top of than seeing the turnout of love and people, you open and set up additional space. Meeting a need before it happened! We could not be happier and more grateful 🙏🏼 your compassion and straight up kindness, along with professionalism won’t be forgotten. The food, service and total experience was exceptional. Thank you from my family 🙏🏼

This is by far the best Gym experience I have had in the Valley. Family owned, local business that runs a great spot for anyone interested in almost any aspect of fitness. I will continue to go here as long as I live in Phoenix. They do classes, and have personal trainers you can select that run their own business through the gym. (better experience IMO vs a commercial setting as you pick a well qualified trainer depending on your goal vs getting set with one.)

This is THE best gym in AZ. I come from California and it really gives the “Gold’s Gym” vibes which I love. Everyone here is serious about their fitness unlike some other places here in Arizona. Gym has an enormous amount of equipment that you’ll be so flustered on which to use. Owner and management are excellent and I highly recommend any gym goers looking for the best gym.
