One of the most welcoming gyms I've ever been to. I switched from planet fitness and I already love it so much. Dave, Jay, and Jenny have been so welcoming. Love how big this gym is, the equipment is amazing, and everyone else is really welcoming. So happy to have started working out here!

No nonsense gym experience: Emerald City offers the best deal in the area. Unlike other gyms here (LA Fitness especially), they are not overbooked with customers. You can actually get parking and get to your weights/machines without too much hassle. The layout also helps you prioritize and get to what you need. Plus the staff and customers are super friendly.

Kevin was really great, showed me some great insight on lifting movements, nutrition overview and was very welcoming. Switched here recently and was super impressed. The facilities are newly updated, have everything I need for lifting and they have a great fitness program you can opt into that is challenging and fun. Overall the community is super welcoming. Thomas, Tony, Dave and others are always helpful, friendly and genuinely want to help you achieve your fitness goals. They also have a great kids club, heated pool and other extra amenities. Would recommend definitely.

Hello! I have been going to this gym for 5-6 months. It is a gym like no other, it feels like a community. Jenny was the first person I got in touch with, her energy is so inviting, and talking to her feels refreshing she understands me and my goals. She also talks about what her journey was and how it's going it feels inspiring to hear. She recommended a few hiking adventures to go to, and I loved them both. She gives me tangible goals, cheers me on, and gives me insightful information for the coming month ahead. With her help, I am getting closer to my goals; our monthly check-ins are something I look forward to. I have always felt welcomed here! J is someone I love seeing I have been shy to say hi, but he has a way with people that lets you feel open. The gym has everything you can ask for and has multiple stations so that you don't feel overwhelmed by crowds or rush hour. The only things I could request are bands for stretching in the yoga room. Thanks to everyone I have met in a short amount of time. Thanks for making me feel welcome and for sharing a friendly smile.

I've never had a gym experience like this! The community culture here is really solid. It's a place for everyone of any background and skill level with their fitness knowledge. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is and how dedicated they are to helping you reach your goals - shout out to Melanie!

We started by sending our 3 year old son to YMCA mill creek’s stage 1 - water acclimation here. He has never had water or swimming pool interaction prior to this. The instructor I was very friendly and went extra mile in making him comfortable . I will recommend this place for swim lessons

The staff is usually friendly, equipment is average, but oh my goodness, the HVAC is terrible. There's almost constantly some section of the building that doesn't have heat, and the pool area is especially susceptible.

I, too, was disappointed when family swim hours were reduced. It's made it difficult for our water-loving kids to both get to swim and get to bed on time. But the high score notwithstanding is because of the awesome classes (especially Zumba--always an enthusiastic crowd and never awkward) and the kids zone!! My kids and I have loved coming here!

Never been so disappointed by their stuck up staff in my life. I have a 3 day pass and wasn’t able to use it here because they said my pass was for king county which I wasn’t aware that I couldn’t use my pass at a snohomish county branch . The staff were rude and judged me instantly so I wouldn’t even give them 1 star honestly

It is extremely disappointing that they use a very large area of the Silverlake park for a few months of the year and block access for all stakeholders all year round. I was walking my dog through the park and was approached by staff of the camp insinuating that I walked through a barrier in which I did not. This person‘s attitude was not that of a government employee, it was very hostile. I recommend that a better job with our tax dollars and actually make an area that they can reasonably accommodate for the camp when you stop stop
