The YMCA swim program for toddlers is absolutely fantastic! My 2-year-old has been thriving in this environment, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and care go into the program. The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and inviting, which makes every visit comfortable and stress-free. The instructors are truly the heart of the program—they’re informative, friendly, and approachable. They do an amazing job of making the kids feel at ease while also teaching them valuable skills in a fun and engaging way. I’ve been so impressed with how they balance safety and fun, ensuring that every child feels confident in the water while learning foundational swimming techniques. My child looks forward to swim class every week, and as a parent, it’s wonderful to see them enjoying the experience and progressing so quickly. I highly recommend the YMCA swim program to any parent looking for a welcoming, high-quality introduction to swimming for their little ones!

It has a great range of classes, equipment and facilities, but not enough for the membership. I canceled my membership and they keep charging me the monthly fee. have been calling for the last month for a refund of two months and the membership person has not called me back.

This gym needs to change, there is no parking, there is way too many people, ladies at the front desk make you wait to scan every single time knowing we come here every single day. Little kids taking up treadmills & areas there not prohibited in. Customer service is absolutely horrible

Parking is horrible as people don’t park between the lines which causes for free spots to be unable to be used. You have to wait 10 -15 minutes for treadmills to open up or even weight machines as it’s so packed.

Communication with this establishment is almost impossible. No one answers the phone. No one answers emails. I've been trying to contact them for over a month. I'm not physically capable of going to the Y so i'm relaying on their costumer service which has been frustrating to get in contact with. Especially since i'm still paying monthly for a service i cannot use. Some YMCA's let you cancel memberships online but this one doesn't so take that in mind when you sign up.

After a very long time of ice cold water showers and no hot water, they finally fixed it, you would think they’d also fix the broken shower handles after 4+ months but I guess that $240+ a year per black card membership just isn’t enough to fix anything around there. it’s also a tiny gym and people are on their cell phones hogging up all the machines, so if you have goals and really want to get a good workout in followed by a nice shower then you can forget about it. This is one planet fitness I absolutely try to avoid after work and end up driving farther away just to use a better one.

It is a small gym but well maintained and the staff is very helpful. (Any chance of moving the mens room TP dispenser though? It gets in the way of doing the needful in there!)

locations is very small and like a warehouse complex, kinda. The customer service is excellent, very friendly and professional what they have to work with. They do it very well with the size of the building and location would highly recommend this gym.

Pretty disappointed and wish I checked this location out before signing up. I belonged to the Wilmington and Reading clubs for many years so I was expecting a similarly appointed and well kept property. Nope. It's small, cramped, dingy, humid, the LED displays on ALL the machines are dying. The overhead lights were flickering. Everything looks dirty even in the dark. Needs a little TLC to say the very least.

Clearly Best Fitness in Woburn is the friendliest gym I have ever been to. I am always greeted on arrival with a smile and a greeting. The staff is courteous and ready to go out of their way to insure a great experience. The gym is extremely clean as compared to others I have been to, from the locker rooms to the gym floor to the different studios. The trainers are knowledgeable and clearly enjoy what they do. Classes are on time, fun and very upbeat. So many to choose from and convenient times. The smoothie bar is great also... I would recommend checking out Best Fitness in Woburn. You will be glad you did.

This gym is fantastic. Upon arrival I was greeted by Joshua who was nothing but warm and welcoming. It was super clean especially with the amount of guests present. I went at prime time and still didn’t have to wait long for a machine to open. Members were also super clean- ex. Cleaning equipment when finished and even the add on pieces to the cable machines stayed organize. Even the ones left on the floor 🤣 They also have a kids facility which as a parent is top notch. I don’t live anywhere close by and I’m considering making this my new gym. I stopped in for a drop by and I’m so glad I did! Another thing to note- my bestie left her engagement ring here which could have easily been taken and Joshua put it aside for her and returned it to her. And when I was at the gym I saw another member left his head phone and another member who brought them up to him. Feels safe here. Thanks again Joshua for your kindness and help getting into the gym for the day! Definitely a new favorite spot & location!

By far my favorite gym! First and foremost, the staff is incredibly friendly and are always ensuring that the members are taken care of. The owners emphasize cleanliness and take care of broken equipment in a timely manner. Great variety of machines and gym equipment and their classes always leave me out of breath (in the best way!) I have been a member of best fitness for over 10 years and have been very happy!

I have been at Best Fitness since the day it opened. Simply put a great gym to get a full workout whether you’re a competitive bodybuilder such as myself. Or someone that simply wants to get in shape. The staff is attentive and will listen to their members and actually value you as a customer. IMO Best gym in this area and I’ve been to a lot of them.

I started going to MBSC when I was in middle school and now I'm in grad school. I workout in the adult group with my mom and we have so much fun. I have had many coaches and they are all amazing. I love Megan because she is so encouraging and nice. She also does chin-ups with me to help motivate me! Steve is good too.

My son started here when he was 11 (now 14) and it’s been the best experience for him. Incredible results, safe, and fantastic way to increase all aspects of athleticism. He’s a fan of all the coaches, but Megan has been especially great. I started the adult session earlier this fall and couldn’t be happier. Alex and the team are great! Thanks MBSC team!

I love working out at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. The trainers are amazing and make a point of getting to know you personally and working to meet you wherever you are on your fitness journey. I've been working in the adult group with both Jess Tollman and Megan Lynch for over a year now and they are both incredibly knowledgable, patient, and encouraging. I have gotten so much stronger! My daughter and I both train here I can't recommend the program more highly.

MBSC runs an excellent program for young athletes. While the kids work out in groups, they also receive individual coaching to ensure proper technique. My daughter and son have both made significant gains being coached by Megan Lynch in the middle school group. Megan brings great energy to the workouts and makes it fun for the kids... definitely a lot of smiles between sets! The office staff, Carrie and Kat, are approachable and helpful. Everyone seems to enjoy being there, and you can tell that the entire MBSC team really cares about the kids.

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and most importantly encouraging. The classes are set up very well, especially if you are planning on taking multiple classes a week there is plenty of variation so you do not get bored. The facility is very clean. I have never been happier with a gym membership and best of all the results are worth it.

Great workouts. Well run. Great management - 5 stars. *Very* clean, efficient, organized. Would love if there were towels available when I shower and run straight to work but it’s easy enough to bring my own. Love that there are many class times in am and pm to choose from. Updated: I’ve experimented w a couple of other studios within short driving distance (under different management) - this one is by far my favorite. My top coaches are Hope and Meredith bc I prefer the am classes but everyone is awesome! 👏👏👏

Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) is a great gym if you need structure and a coach to get you through a workout. The classes are typically 2G (2 groups) or 3G (3 groups); there are other limited classes but the bulk of their classes are 60 minutes and about 20 minutes each of treadmill, rower and weight floor. OTF world very hard to make the classes interesting and they are constantly trying to keep it interesting. This is a great option if you're trying to get in shape, not a great option if you're trying to bulk up (it's not that type of gym). I can highly recommend the Woburn location and I really enjoy coaches Meredith, Hope, Sam and Nic. All 4 are upbeat, positive and experts in each exercise helping with form on the weight floor and keeping time while on the treadmills.

Awesome coaches and staff—shout out to Josh, Hope, Lindsay, and Kyle! I love taking classes here. I’m a group fitness instructor myself and OTF is where I go for my own workouts. Super motivating atmosphere and every class is a new challenge. Don’t be discouraged if it feels overwhelming at first—after a few classes the format becomes easier to follow. The playlists are always great. I love being able to choose between running or power walking on the treads since classes are designed for both. Thank you OTF Woburn for all you do!

Bay State All Stars has been nothing but welcoming to me and my two daughters who both fall on the autistic spectrum. Absolutely wonderful and supportive coaches who work so hard to make sure my children succeed and have fun. Every coach, employee, cheerleader, and parent are positive and kind. Truly one of the best and most family oriented environments we have ever been in for all star cheerleading. So positive and welcoming all around and such an awesome group of people. The staff at Peoplefit has saved my physical health! I was in PT for a year and a half for 3 joints. I am almost 70. It was clear to me that I needed a gym to continue my progress. The PTs at Professional PT in Arlington suggested Peoplefit. PPT in Arlington , I highly recommend also. The PTs who are the owners, and exercise physiologists, one or more are always available for help. One or more of them opens and closes the gym. They care about our overall health and are educated in nutrition and other health concerns. They care about us as people. I am much stronger in the year I have been here. I am deeply grateful. For a guy who has been working out in gyms for nearly 50 years and grew up in Woburn, this is the BEST gym in the Boston area. It is clean, friendly and has great equipment. The owner has done a great job with making the customers feel welcome and safe during Covid. Unlike most other gyms, people working out there are very respectful. This happens because the owner has set that tone.

Asked more than once to have my account canceled, still being charged was just charged 83.99 this week! Now I’m filing a complaint with my bank. Gym is dirty and not maintained. They choose to use the garage doors instead of AC and it heats up the gym. Avoid this business, there’s better out there for cheaper!

I've been going to this gym for about two months now, since my old gym closed. I love this gym! I've been a member of a lot of gyms in the area over the past 10 years. This place is impeccable. I never had trouble finding a machine. The place is always spotless. There are plenty of classes to choose from and the spins classes almost always have room. Its conveniently located right off of 95. AND the price is right. So even if you only got to one class a week, your membership has already paid itself off.

Training at Team Forsa has been an incredible experience. Professor Anderson provides top-level coaching, blending deep knowledge of jiujitsu with a teaching style that’s both clear and engaging. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, his dedication to his students’ growth is evident every step of the way. What really sets Team Forsa apart is the community. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. The teammates here are patient, helpful, and always willing to share tips or roll at a pace that matches your level. It’s a place where everyone is genuinely invested in each other’s progress. If you’re looking for world-class instruction and a supportive environment to grow your skills, I can’t recommend Team Forsa and Professor Anderson enough!

As a former martial arts instructor myself, I know how important it is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. My son, who has ADHD and is very hyperactive, started with Professor Michelle at Team Forsa a little over a year ago when he was 6 years old (now 7). Watching him in Jiu-Jitsu class, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he struggles with focus or hyperactivity. We were immediately impressed with how Michelle taught the class, interacted with our son, and even called his attention when he misbehaved. With her strong Judo background, she instills a level of discipline and focus in the children that I have never seen in any other Jiu-Jitsu school. Her approach is not only highly skilled but also filled with patience and understanding, making the learning process enjoyable for the kids. In the beginning, our son misbehaved more often than not, so much so that we often felt embarrassed by his actions. Each time we apologized, both Professor Michelle and Professor Anderson never made us feel uncomfortable or judged. Instead, they reassured us that it was just a phase and part of the process and that with 'teamwork' between parents and the professor, things would improve. Michelle's calm, supportive approach, filled with patience and understanding, gave us hope, and sure enough, it worked! Over time, we saw a significant positive change in his behavior, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and support. We loved her teaching style and the safe environment she provided in her class so much that we decided to enroll our 2.5-year-old (now 3) in the little kids' class, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. In fact, we plan to enroll our 1-year-old in her class as soon as he's old enough to join! We've recommended Team Forsa to several of our friends, and ever since our son started, six kids have joined the team through our recommendation. Five of them are from my son’s Judo club, whose parents have experience with martial arts either by practicing themselves or by watching their kids' classes at the Judo club, and they can easily recognize how safe and well-structured the environment is for children. Whether you intend to have your child compete in tournaments or simply want them to take Jiu-Jitsu for the confidence, discipline, and focus it builds, Team Forsa is the perfect place. Watching both of our children thrive under Michelle and Anderson's instruction has been such a rewarding experience. Team Forsa has truly become our second home. We're there almost every day! It's more than just a Jiu-Jitsu school; it's a community where children, parents, and even grandparents train together. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-oriented, making it a place where everyone, regardless of age, skill level, or "disability", feels like they belong. It's truly a place where the whole family can grow together, both on and off the mats.

I’ve been training at Team Forsa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for almost six months, starting with absolutely no prior experience. From day one, Professor and all the team have been nothing but supportive, patient, and highly skilled. Not only have they helped me develop technical skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but they’ve also guided me in building mental toughness, physical strength, and overall confidence. They ensure that everyone, regardless of skill level, can learn and progress. The team fosters a culture of respect, discipline, and continuous improvement, making each session something to look forward to. If you’re looking for a place to grow as a martial artist and as a person, I can’t recommend Team Forsa highly enough! This has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I’m excited to continue my journey here.

Such a killer environment. Five stars all the way. Anderson is a phenomenal instructor making sure to put his students first but implement also implement the discipline behind Jiu-Jitsu. For the younger kids this is a great facility to bring them into the area of martial arts. Hope more people can discover Forsa.
