I’m typing this out as I sit in their lobby. I came into the Temple Planet Fitness to sign up for the Black Card and see if there were any promotions I might be interested in. The lady at the counter was more interested in chatting with her coworker, and after a few minutes standing awkwardly at the counter (I had already located the PF App, downloaded it, and begun signing up for the membership unprompted) she awkwardly asked if we needed anything. At that point, was able to reply “Actually no, I think I’ve got it from here.” As I type, she is quickly running through basic amenities with another customer but no tour, no offers to walk through the gym, and no talk about plans or pricing. I know my local gym is friendly, so I didn’t mind completing my membership. But, if this was my home gym, I would leave and join Crunch. Your counterstaff isn’t needed to check in, (thank god), so why don’t you at least train or expect reasonable customer service and membership driving? How does this experience build confidence your staff is knowledgeable or helpful moving forward? I am definitely not sold on Temple PF, Should I ever encounter a situation where I would need to use the Temple location as a home gym, I will cancel my PF and use virtually any other gym in the area.

I'm a traveler, so I visit a lot of PF on the way. This planet fitness is just ok. They are not 24H. Many buckets on the floor to get the water rain from rooftop, the equipment compared to others PF are the old ones. Good thing is they are next to a mall, so many things to do after a nice workout. And plenty of parking space.

Update: I did as I was asked to reach out to them as the owner replied beneath this review and two days later I have not heard a single thing from ANYONE representing PF. My guess is they comment beneath posts to make it appear as though they’re interested in fixing the issue when they have no intention on doing so. Also, the gym is STILL closed. Currently using this location mainly for the convenience. It’s not far from home, across from HEB, decent enough hours where I can get a decent workout in before work. However, it’s ALWAYS closed for some reason or another. It’s actually ridiculous. They tell you to send complaints or feedback to HQ, and HQ replies and says reach out to your home club 😒. I have personally emailed the manager and HQ 6x over the past week and HQ has been no help, the local manager has yet to respond. As much as I do not want to cancel my membership I am left with no choice at this point. Poor people skills, poor business skills, lack of communication and it’s really bizarre to continue to charge people’s accounts for membership/club fees without allowing access to the club. If I pay for goods or services, at the very least I expect to receive the goods/services. If you cannot uphold your part of the bargain then we begin looking at breach of contract. Why are you charging me for a service I am being denied access to? Very frustrating.

Gym is always closed because “they don’t have water”, and the ceiling is falling apart. If I could leave negative stars I would. Do not go here unless desperate.

The gym is great for the purpose designed. The constant closures seem frequent, but it needs to be resolved. I paid for a year upfront and will not renew once it is expired. It is an inconvenience to suggest to drive to a different PF location. Correct your challenges so people can use you facility. This is not how you run a business.

I had the pleasure of getting to play Wildflower today. The course is in very good shape. The new greens were rolling true and with good speed. If your looking for a good test of your game and a fund round; I highly recommend you give this course a try. Post round we stopped at the 19th hole for a solid burger and cold beer. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Extreme was unwelcoming and unwilling to adapt to an atypical child! The instructor in the class was very nice and patient. The office manager was rude and made it pretty clear how she feels about kids with special needs! Please take your money somewhere else !!! Also the parking lot is a night mare !!!

My 3 year old comes here for open gym on Wednesday and Friday mornings and has such a blast that he's calm for the rest of the day when we go! It's super cheap (like $5 per time but $6 on a debit card) and so, so worth it. Their gym is clean which is a huge plus (we've been to some that aren't).

Traveling today and decided to check out this anytime. You may have seen my other anytime reviews, so some are hit and miss, despite having direction from corporate. This place was great. They had some non precor machines, a nice jungle gym type rack in the middle, couple power racks, and plenty of weights. Albeit mismatched plates but I'm not pretentious enough to care about all that. Gym was clean for the most part, very spacious, and machines were in good working order. Now their cardio bikes... They need some maintenance. The nicer of the two precor ones has a bad rattle and slips when trying to use it. I went to the octane lateral step machine to finish. It also has a catch but not as bad as the bike. They have an array of treadmills but this guy doesn't run. So can't tell you if they worked well. They did have a new stair master that looked pretty swank, but today was supposed to be bike day. Had plenty of bathrooms which were clean. Overall this gym is pretty nice. Needs some small things fixed but overall...good. Added some photos for y'all since theirs was greatly lacking them. I did miss the leg stuff and other power rack on the far side, too many folks to take photos as I try to be respectful of others.

So happy I choose 9 round as my gym back in January. I have seen the best results and have been giving the best support from the trainers in the gym. I love the quick in and out process of not being at the gym for more than 30 minutes. I also love being able to move on with my day with my fitness goal met! If you are thinking about it, try it! You won’t regret it!!

There are so many wonderful things to say about 9Round from their hours, flexibility, and their workouts, but the most wonderful thing of all are the trainers!!! They make you feel at home, hold you accountable and push you to show up for yourself and be the best version of yourself. They’re attentive and accommodating to any medical concerns you may have as well. I absolutely love my 9Round family and I just know you will too!

I had a membership here from January 2024-June2024. When I signed up they give a false promise saying I could cancel anytime. BE WARNED- thankfully new laws are going into effect that will make this easier to handle. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership. You can call and the employees are trained to say you have to come in to cancel- you can email the manager and they still want you to come in person. Now here we are in almost February 2025- my account is STILL active with constant 20 phone calls a day from a credit agency (debt collector) this place is a joke and no one knows what to do.

Clean gym, nice people, however the price of a membership is way too expensive. They don’t have wide bench’s, my shoulder feels like it’s falling off the bench’s they have. There is no T bar row machine which is a real let down since that’s the best back machine ever, and the cable machines near the dumbbells have uneven feeling weights. Overall a nice gym just too overpriced and a lack of certain equipment.

T3 is your one stop gym! With great staff and amazing child care. Gym space for all your personal workouts. Various gym classes offered at convenient times. It’s maintained and clean in every area. Ownership is personable, Ike sets a great example for his staff. He also offers opportunity for the community to join in on the amazing atmosphere during holidays at no cost. I’ve attended every class that is offered and every instructor is great. The sauna and wellness pod is an added bonus. All great things to be said about T3!

Nice gym but be careful because they lie about contacts. I requested for a cancellation over 5 months ago and they have still be taking payments out after back and forth phone calls to cancel my membership. I should have know because a past worker there tried to tell me about this happening and I was too interested in the fact that I finally found a gym with a daycare…

Leslie's Tumble and Cheer is absolutely amazing, and Leslie herself is one of a kind! Let me tell you, she has this incredible magic power – she can turn any kid into a gymnastics star! My son was lucky enough to be part of her program, starting from the basics until he joined a competitive T&T team. Under Leslie's guidance, my son has achieved so much – he's now a national champion in trampoline and the double mini! I truly believe it's all thanks to Leslie's coaching. She focused on teaching him the fundamentals of every movement, making sure he was fully prepared for each skill he had to learn. As a mom, I can't thank Leslie enough for what she's done for my son. Her dedication and expertise have played such a huge role in his success. Leslie is not just a coach; she's a mentor who inspires greatness in every child she works with. We're beyond grateful for her and everything she's done for us!

We began our journey at Leslie’s at 18 months old in the Mommy and Me class. My daughter quickly learned the foundational skills and was having a blast learning from her coaches. Leslie then moved her up, before this mom thought she was ready, but Leslie knew what she needed. Within three months she had gained enough skills to move up to the beginners/advanced beginners class. Leslie truly pays attention to where her students are and what skills they need to master. She individualizes skills per athlete and moves them up when they are ready for a challenge. We love Leslie and so grateful for her guidance and teaching!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this gym! Our daughter Skylar attended another gym where she had to stand in line for more than half the class. She was frusterated. We love this gym because she can learn along side others and not stand in line so much! Her coach Angelina has been so patient and kind to her and has really helped her grow so much!

Added info: Leslie's hosted my granddaughters birthday party and was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Several games kept every child engaged. A break midpoint allowed time for presents and cake. Best and easiest party I've ever planned!!! The coach to tumbler ratio is great! The coaches break down the mechanics of each move while stressing correct technique. Every tumbler has direct coaching for each skill. The coaches have simple devices and visual cues to help tumblers succeed with any move that is difficult for them. That has REALLY IMPRESSED me. My 9 year old said, "I didn't try much at {that other place} because I didn't like it, but I really like Leslie's". She is thriving now that she has coaches that are helping and communicating with each other to provide an individualized experience. So glad we found you!

We haven't started classes yet, but I don't feel like my review will change once we do. After being involved with another instructional gym in the area & not being satisfied, we decided to look into Leslie's. We were so impressed that we signed up right away to start fresh next year! Leslie is on site & the only one you will deal with as far as "business" matters. She spent quite a bit of time explaining how she does things, how they differ from other places and why she does them the way she does. She answered all of our questions thoroughly in a way that satisfied our concerns. We were also able to observe the class that was in session & ask questions. Besides all that business stuff, Leslie just seems like a wonderful person with a heart of gold. I'm looking forward to getting to know her. There is no barrier between the parents' seating section & the kids' gym area. You are able to hear the interactions between the coaches and the kids while you watch. (This is not the case with some other gyms.) There is ONE class at a time. The coaches are not being pulled in different directions and the kids are not distracted by or affected by what happens with other levels/age groups. The coaches are attentive & actively working with all of the kids. More importantly than anything else I have said.... There were smiles on every face in the room. The kids, parents & coaches were all happy to be there. That speaks volumes.

Noel and his crew changed my life for the better. When I started there, I was fat, out of shape, and generally unhappy with myself. Six months later, I am stronger, happier, and in the best shape of my life and I'm 42! It's no cake walk and Noel will push to your limits, but he believes in you, which makes you believe in yourself. Highly recommend!

On 1/9/2019 I signed with Validus Fitness & Training LLC for a 6 month fitness program. I informed Noel Santana at that time that I had knee surgery in August of 2018 and would be having foot surgery in Feb. 2019. I was assured Validus would work within my limitations so no harm would be done. Noel Santana told me that if this program wasn’t for me, he would refund all my money. After my session on 1/18/2019, my knee was extremely panful. I iced and elevated the entire weekend. On Monday, 1/21/2019 I returned to Validus and they tried to stretch out my muscles and tendons to bring me some relief. It did not work. On 1/24/2019, I was able to get in to see my orthopedic surgeon. He examined my knee and reviewed my MRI. He told me I should only be doing water exercises or a stationary bike because I have Stage 4 arthritis in my knee and was bone on bone. My doctor wrote a letter for me to give Validus stating his findings. ON 1/24/2019 I emailed Noel Santana with a copy of the letter and informed I would not be able to continue with the program and I would be sending a certified letter stating this. I also told him I have no problem paying for the first month and the nonrefundable enrollment fee, but would like money for the 5 months I can’t use refunded. The total cost of the program was $5592.60 for six months. Validus should keep the first monthly payment of $932.10 plus the $147.00, for a total of $1079.10. I want $4513.50 refunded for the unused months. Validus refuses to pay and said they would freeze my account until I can return. On the advice of my doctor I have been told not to return to Validus. I must take the advice of my doctor over a trainer. Validus kept wanting to contact my doctor and share my fitness program with him. I told them no, I had already met with my doctor and you received his letter. I believe Validus is a great option for individuals without health issues. I guess Buyer Beware applies to Validus Fitness & Training LLC.
