Awesome workout every time! The classes offer a variety of cardio and weights that will bring up the heart rate and deliver a good sweat. Time flies and a one hour class is over before you know it!

This review has been long overdue. I've been coming here for almost a year. The coaches here are great! They are kind, helpful in correcting postures and motivating to push our best! Every coach here is unique with each bringing their strengths in coaching. The studio is tidy, and the front desk has been helpful and friendly.

Workouts are always different and keep things challenging. Though what gets me up in the morning for class are the coaches at Comm Hill. They all got to know me and know how to push me to work hard. Also helps that they have great playlists and make class fun!

The staff and coaches at OTF Comm Hill are so great and friendly! I love going to this studio and I highly recommend to anyone looking to get a good workout in!

I love Orangetheory and their High Intensity Interval Training, especially because I don't have to think while working out, they coach us through everything. Workouts are always different and they have wonderful themes or challenges to do. Communications Hill location is convenient, lots of parking and their staff is friendly, helpful and so encouraging. The studio is always clean and feel safe.

"Horrible Experience - Impossible to Cancel!" I can't believe how terrible this gym has been when it comes to canceling my membership. They were super friendly and eager to sign me up, but as soon as I wanted to cancel, everything changed. Every time I called, I was either told the manager was "in a meeting," "on a break," or "out for lunch" — sometimes for hours at a time! When I finally managed to get someone on the phone, they gave me one excuse after another to delay the process. It's as if they make it intentionally difficult to cancel. I've had to jump through hoops just to get a response, and the customer service has been frustratingly unhelpful. They want you to sign up on the spot, but once you try to leave, it’s like you're fighting an uphill battle. That’s probably why their employees don’t last — they make tons of promises when they’re trying to get you to join, but then completely fail to honor them once you're locked in. It's clear they care more about trapping you in a contract than actually providing decent service. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service, and I regret ever joining. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this gym if you value your time and sanity!

I love coming to this gym! Staff are friendly and I appreciate the well lit workout space. I do want to give a huge shoutout to this specific staff who is the most hardworking person ensuring the cleanliness of the gym! I never see him idle, he is always doing his best with upkeep.

Started a membership at ~5pm and at 5:45pm I went to check Mary’s C Zumba class who asked me - in front of the entire class - what I was doing sitting and said I couldn’t just sit. My plan was to see how the class was for 5 min since I didn’t have shoes on but now, after the horrible treatment, I might not even come back? Horrible first impression!

Clean locker room but few workout machines compare to the other City Sport Club.

Bottle fountains don’t work, not enough amount of bikes, WiFi is garbage and no cell signal to use when WiFi down. Car break ins, not worth the member shot at least at this city sports

Heated classes are too crowded, noisy and unfriendly. It smells like fish in sauna. Hot tub has mold. Although the club has good amenities, the users are all vietnamese passing nasty comments in their native language. There are terrible and harmful lotions being used in sauna, caused me terrible allergy. Do not recommend this place if you would like peace of mind.

This gym has been going down the hill after covid, bad management, bad services.. dirty and non hygienic facility… Most of the staff especially the sales people are so rude!! They should fire Chris, Jasmine Nguyen. Very unprofessional attitude when dealing with members..

I signed up last Thursday, showed up today for a Mobility class three minutes late (they claim to have an app for Android, it doesn't work, i have to call them or book at the front desk?). Yes, I was late, keep in mind there is no late policy posted and if it were in the app, I couldn't access it. The desk person checks me in, we head upstairs and as we enter the class the instructor Megan, doesn't open her mouth to tell us about her late policy or turn us away politely, instead she shook her head "no" and shoo'd us away like vermin. An employee told me I need to speak to Megan about it, he is the Director of Instruction, she was the one shooing me.I walked back to the Member Services desk and cancelled all 3 of my families memberships. If this is how leadership operates, there is bound to be a trickle down effect. Lack of professionalism and he general distain she showed is what did it. I'll never spend another dollar with ClubSport. P.S. This all occurred prior to ever touching a weight in this gym, sad.

Awesome gym! Very new and clean! Offers tons of classes everyday from weight classes to stretching classes to kickboxing. They also offer a swimming pool, smoothie&snack bar, sitting area to watch tv and chill, big and clean locker rooms offering lockers that don’t require you to bring your own lock, saunas, steamrooms, plenty of towels, massages, and more. Lots of nice equipment too. You definitely pay the price for all of these things but it’s been worth it for me.

Great place to swim indoors (heated) with my kid all year round. Price is reasonable for this nice facility with clean family locker room & shower, even better when you come as often as you like for various activities & equipment. Too bad I only have time to come with my kid for family swimming hours. They provide towels but we bring our own hair dryer because the one in the family locker room is underpowered. We appreciate this place as one of the perks of living nearby.

My son took swim lessons and it is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly helpful and respectful. Our over all experience has been amazing. We love it here and feel like it is such a good investment.

I’ve seen improvements at this YMCA! Staff is great and community members are friendly. Working out is fun and relaxing here.

The Wellness Room and friendly employees who cater to YMCA members' needs are what I like about the East Valley YMCA. The friendly smile and extended greetings are what make it worthwhile. I am fond of the online pool schedule that is structured and organized for everyone to view. I wish the lap lines were extended so that members would do lap swim. Going to the YMCA in the morning is my preferred option to swim for thirty or forty minutes. The volume was not loud and rambunctious, but rather quiet. I was pleased!. Thanks for allowing me to use the seven-day pass at East Valley YMCA.

Me and my kids are loving our experience at this location. The staff is wonderful. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and the equipment options are endless.

Updated Review in Jan 2025: This particular planet fitness isn't good. Most equipments are all broken ----------- A good place to workout for low-average budget. You pay an annual fee $49 and then either $10 - classic or $25 - black card per month. With the black card membership, you can take a guess with you and you (just you, not your guess) can use the hydro massage. I like the hydro massage but they have only 3 so it's often busy, especially during the week. If your goal is just to workout then $10/month isn't bad. It gets busy on weekdays. The treadmills and stairmasters can be very full so if you can workout later in the week or weekend, you don't have to fight for an equipment. I do wish they are more stairmasters though. The restroom is clean for the most part. Sometimes they are a little bit behind in cleaning it. I think the rest of the place is in decent shape.

Very spacious and clean. This gym is packed with a ton of equipments. The only downside is that they only carry Smith machines and no free weight lifting bars. This can be an issue depending on your personal needs but they do offer a 3 day trial so you can check it out yourself before you decide on joining the membership. I personally think this gym is perfect for someone who just started working out or is doing muscle toning and staying in shape.

Every time you go to the male restroom there is always something wrong. From having multiple shower stalls broken to BLACK MOLD on the curtains. The worst is for our disabled community members to feel shamed for not have a door for the stall. I know management is aware of this problem because the door has been missing for a couple months and black mold does not grow overnight. When asking the front desk they said they have no official management and that they get reps from other out of county areas to help assist.

I went in last year to cancel my membership. 2 young ladies at the counter were unable to process the cancellation and sent me a temporary Freeze- I thought I was cancelled. By January I was being billed again. Lydia the manager won't reply to emails, and now I'm no where close to that location. Still being billed. No one knows anything. I did the right things, the right way, and they dropped the ball. It's about a $230 dollar ball drop. NO ONE FROM THIS LOCATION is trying to fix this.

short hispanic female employee with the tattoos was fat shaming me after I walked away. Ive been suffering from obesity and Ive already lost 100 pounds at home before I felt confident enough to go to a public gym. As soon as I walked by she called me fat slurs and made fun of my weight in several ways as well as looking at me in a disgusting way like I was an object. Will never return again
