Best Gym near Salina, Kansas

Equipment is great. They only have one squat rack and one smith machine other than that everything else is included. The membership is quite overpriced. But the absolute worst part of it was the management and trying to cancel. I was in Salina on military orders for just 2 weeks so me and my buddy try to get a membership. First day we went one of the staff told us no we can’t give you a free trial that’s only for locals. So whatever we pay 20$ for one day and plan not to come back. Staff calls great guy he try’s to cut us a deal and apologizes for the first guy. He was pro military and his boss too. But then when we try to cancel before the next cycle the Head management guy(I assume) bald, tattoos on his arm, about 230 pounds, meets us at the table and says okay I’ll take care of you give me your name and number and that’s it. We thought that was weird so I go back to the great guy that helped us out and even his face said it all when I asked if it was canceled , it was not. He canceled our membership for us and that was that luckily. Do not trust the management. At least not the main guy. It is very shady thing to do to try and scam military members especially when we are leaving the state in 2 weeks. There was going to be almost no way to cancel and pay out of the town. Summary: it is very difficult to cancel membership and they will avoid it if they can to overcharge you more. Update: Thank you for the reply from health club but considering multiple members have had the same issue before AND after me it seems like you guys could careless I’m just hoping nobody follows in pursuit and gets blindsided like I. Make sure to document everything guys

Must be paying for reviews lol honestly one of the worst gyms I've ever been to. Up there with the Genesis from Leavenworth. Power rack is complete trash and leg equipment is subpar at best. Throw in the dumbest plates you've ever seen and you have a trash gym, right here in Salina waiting for you to waste your gains 😂😂

Facilities are clean, updated, and well maintained. Both I and my son made dramatic gains working out there. But more importantly, it’s a good company, ran by good honest people.

Very poor and shady business practices over charging customers I was clearly told by your representative that my account was not a auto payment and still I was charged fraudulent practices at its best

They place is clean, the staff is awesome, the equipment is top notch!!! We are visiting and absolutely will make this our home gym every time we are in Salina!!!!

Cleanest gym in town. Equipment is very functional and there is a variety extra fitness equipment.

Didn't go there for any amenities of the facility. I was there for a graduation ceremony. It was typical ceremony.

A great gym! Modern equipment, never crowded, elevated rubberized jogging track, cardio and weight machines, basketball court, showers, all for about half the cost of Genesis and YMCA. Check it out.

My family and I have been working out at Sharps Performance for about a year and a half now at least. It's our favorite gym for a lot of reasons! First and foremost, the environment is GREAT for any level of gym comfort. Beginners feel welcomed and regulars feel at home. The staff is awesome and is always willing to help you out! & the equipment is perfect for anybody wanting to reach their fitness goals. If you havent been yet, GET IN THERE!!

Fantastic gym with excellent staff and patrons. Supportive and fun environment with plenty of free weights & machines. A personal favorite feature is the upstairs equipped with 5+ heavy bags and stationery bikes. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing staff. They really focus on each players development. They are down to earth people. They will work you out. You won't find a bad Coach, and all of these Coaches Jake brings in are very experienced. Excellent at what they do and excellent at working with kids. Would recommend.

A quality gym with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is amazing and will help you with questions you may have. Ive been to a lot of gyms and this is by far the best one ive ever been to. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone!! 💪🏼

Don't be fooled by the appearance or location; this is one of the best equipped gyms I've ever been to, especially for strength training. Real barbells, kettlebells, heavy dumbbells, Cerberus sandbags, power racks, machines, it has it all. Scott, the owner, is incredibly kind and accomodating. If you're visiting, and need an alternative to the hotel gym, it's only $15 for a week.

I visited this gym for a powerlifting meet. They have a good variety of machines, 4-5 racks and 2 DL platforms in a separate room, and super helpful/ friendly staff. The gym is small, but accommodating.

The new gym is very convenient, ample parking, and designed for people serious about training. Scott brings a such a wealth of knowledge from years of training and competition. A must for people wanting to improve personal well being.

Great place to workout. The owner is kind, considerate, and an expert in weight lifting/strength training. Inexpensive and amazing facility. No fancy locker room with sauna just a great gym.

Never would I have thought I'd love working out; but at Driven Fitness Center, I do!! They except you where you're at and help you become a healthier person. I'm stronger, healthier, and sleep better than I ever have! Check these guys out! Trey & Scott are the best around!
