Best Gym near Revere, Massachusetts

Poor Customer Service, Shady business practices! I have been trying to cancel my memebership for 4 months now! I called & I was told they would make note of it but I needed to contact the Manager. I called and he seems to never be there, I went in several times and was told I was allset in January. I emailed the manager and finally got a response in February apologized for still being charged in February and it would be cancelled and I would be reimbursed for any charges. March charged again! No response to my emails or calls. Had to cancel any payment to them thru my bank, forced to file a formal complaint with the BBB since I am not getting responses, stop payments or any credits... Crazy and Shady business practices!

Great place for all levels of athletes, or anyone who is just looking to get fit and healthy. Clean, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. No long waits for equipment, affordable, with a large clientele of long time members. I my self have been a consistent member since I was 16 and I still see a lot of the same people to this day. I highly recommend this gym..

Horrible manager and management. Extremely lacking in respect and customer service, let alone common decency and sense. Facility was happy to take our money all summer without ever turning Air Conditioning on. As soon as fall arrived , manager point blank refused to let us play at all because we cancelled only 1 appointment and cancelled it way in advance and sent him a cancellation in writing as well as called him over the phone to apologize. FYI, we played there twice a week for almost a year, and the manager still treated us this way, so you can imagine how he would behave with even newer customers. Manager has been consistently rude , grumpy, and crass pretty much everytime I had to deal with him. I highly recommend NOT to go there... Many other establishments that treat paying clients with respect, let alone turn on the AC so clients can have reasonable experience. Stay away from this location and this manager.

Poor customer service, I got charge for some fee which is not on my contract, I went there, they admitted that charge was not supposed to be by contract, but in order to reimburse the money back I need to catch the manager. I was calling 3-4 times on time what receptionist suggested me to call, but never got to the manager and never got my money back. Definitely unsatisfied customer, won't come back again. P.S. the Gym is cool tho, not long wait and good environment, way better that Planet fitness.

Small, very intimate and clean gym. I have serious back problems, which limits my flexibility. Instead of an medical approach, I hopped for an holistic one. I'm glad I found this gem. It has everything I need, stretching, yoga, pilates, barre, zumba, stepping, SAUNA, and a STEAM ROOM. Monthly cost $25-$45,(no annual fee) which includes all the above classes at no extra cost. Only difference is with the $45, you can bring a guest, at no extra cost, and they'll have access to all of the above classes. They have more classes, but I just mentioned the ones, that are beneficial to me. The steam room, is beyond amazing. So relaxing and calming. Just melts the stress away and the effects last for days. If I had to do any of the classes separately, I would have to pay $50-60/session for each class; and to find all, in one location, for one price, is a blessing. Before joining, you can purchase a day pass for $10, and if you do decide to join, the $10, will go towards your membership.

Great variety of group exercise classes, friendly staff, and a good amount of fitness equipment. Also the gym is very clean.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym! From the cleanliness to the variety of classes you can’t go wrong. Every day you will see one of the staff members cleaning whether it’s mopping and vacuuming the floors or wiping down the windows and machines. The instructors are wonderful, they guide each classes base on the members and give modifications when necessary. I highly recommend using their day pass policy to try it out. They will also put the money from the day pass towards your membership within 5 days.

I like everything about planet fitness EXCEPT ☝️ one thing. PLEASE PUT A MIRROR IN THE TANNING ROOMS!! I have been suggesting it every time I use them for months now. Literally just a small mirror from the like dollar store would be awesome. I will even pay for it them! A woman just needs to see what she looks like really quick after the tanning session. I am hoping this message makes a difference. Otherwise I really enjoy planet fitness. I feel safe and the staff are super cool.

They have new, modern equipment and the environments are always clean and well-hygienic. Access to the massage chairs and hydromassage bed is very easy and ends the training session on a high note.

Jun 7th 2024 at 00:50am I came to exercise and people was exercising without the top part of the clothes and I don’t think that it’s nice to all the rest of the customers.😡 The most incredible thing is that one of them is the employee himself during his shift. Meanwhile the reception was alone

Been a long time member. Kept clean for the most part. Sometimes the showers can get a bit nasty but that's only during peak hours. kept up very clean. Friendly service. simple gym Update 3/3/22 They keep this gym cleaner than they did when I wrote this review years ago. Excellent gym. Excellent staff. Excellent equipment And forgot to mention the hydro massage bed upgrades .

Haven’t been here in a few months. I’ve always had a great experience at this location. Came back a few weeks ago to find only 7 elliptical machines! 5 were already occupied… this is crazy! So many people must be disappointed in the remodel. Get rid of some of the gliders or bikes and get more elliptical machines. I appreciate the extra dumbbell area with benches off to the side and understand space is limited but man, what a bummer to see only 7 machines.

A nice gym with all of the equipment you need to accomplish a full body workout. Tons of cardio equipment and TVs. It’s typically not overly busy. As far as customer service, the front desk staff is friendly when they choose to greet you, which is about 60% of the time, when they aren’t nose down in their cell phone. The locker room sink counters are typically a water drenched mess. The sink design was horrible, and the sink area doesn’t seem to get the cleaning attention it needs. Gym also has several massage chairs and tanning options.

Employees are friendly and responsive to your needs. Location is kept clean. All ages of people work out at my location. I am a senior and if I need assistance, I get it.

Planet Fitness Wonderland Revere is our favorite place to workout. The team is friendly, available and helpful. They keep it clean and the equipment is very well maintained. It is rarely so crowded that we can't use a machine we like. Don't go there because we don't want a bigger crowd ;-)

The gym is pretty big and has all what you need. Big parking, the bus and the train station are cross streets . The people who work there are all good and some of them are really friendly . The showers are great, the gym is clean and I love it.!
