Best Gym near Orlando, Florida

I love the benefits of functional workouts and the set up of F45 provides community with great instructors. I always feel pushed and leave worn out. I am used to metro-Atlanta F45s however and communication is better with certain branches/franchises. I find the central Florida locations do not have as many options with late morning and early afternoon classes, which is frustrating because that time would work best for me. I also find it difficult to reach out to the correct phone# or email. As the Avalon Park location also does not have a front desk like other locations I’ve been to have, it’s harder to get questions answered in person too. Instructors do their best but it’s clear logistics are handled separately and I am still unsure how or who to reach out to.

This location is great! Very clean and the trainers are knowledgeable and always willing to help and motivate you. The program is designed in a way where you feel accountable for attending and you enjoy it! The classes are changed often and it does not get boring. I am someone that is very out of shape and the trainers are understanding and modify workouts for you while also helping you work your way up. I have started to see results in a month. I’m so happy!! Shoutout to Coach Kristina, Brianna and James! They are kind, patient sweethearts that always want the best for you. :)

F45 is an incredible workout format that is accessible enough for beginners and challenging enough for seasoned fitness enthusiasts! Workouts are 45 minutes weekdays and an hour long on weekends with trainers/ coaches present at each session. Every trainer/ coach I have encountered has been phenomenal in their knowledge of proper form and each of them have the enthusiasm to keep you motivated through your F45 session. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND F45 for anyone who is looking for a structured and fun way to meet your fitness goals!

I absolutely love and enjoy the f45 in Avalon park. I am not a gym person and decided to start by joining f45 and so far I love it. The coaches are nice and helpful, the gym is clean, the work outs are great and so are the people in it.

F45 is the best, most effective, fun, and friendly workout ever! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly! I am so excited this is in the neighborhood. Could not have asked for a better place for fitness. I love coming here.

!!!!! TRUCKERS. !!!! I’m a truck driver and i parked my truck here while i was doing my workout at Planet Fitness (around two hours). there is no sign about no semi trucks. You can park if you want to go to Planet Fitness.

Staff are chill and the gym is clean. Manager Juan even put my favorite genre of music on the RockBot! I recommend PF to everybody. :^)

Each and every time I enter this gym every single employee is so nice, welcoming and helpful. I also love the variety of cardio-exercise & strength training equipment and other means of getting a good workout. But most of all there is truly an environment of "no judgement." I am currently obese (not for long, though) and never once have I felt judged or been made to feel less than. Yes, even fellow patrons are respectful and courteous! I love coming here and this will be my gym of choice for a long time to come.

I was impress on how clean these gyms are, I just joint recently about a month ago, coming from other gyms. The other gyms are all trashy and the equipment are all absolute very old. I have the black card and did visit other gyms around town. They are all very clean and the machines they have are very modern. The only thing they need are more free weight machine or equipment. That is all they need to be the BEST in our area.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this LA Fitness location. On one particular evening, as the gym was closing, I witnessed the most unprofessional and distasteful behavior from one of the managers, Talia. As members were finishing their workouts and preparing to leave—many of whom were elderly and younger teens—Talia began screaming at the top of her lungs, demanding everyone “get out now.” There was no courtesy, no professionalism, and certainly no respect. Her tone and delivery were entirely inappropriate, as if we were children being scolded. It was not only embarrassing but also outright disrespectful. The gym is a place where people should feel welcomed and valued, not degraded. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position. Talia’s actions left a terrible impression and completely soured my experience at LA Fitness. I strongly urge management to address this issue seriously. This is not how paying members deserve to be treated, and frankly, someone with such poor customer service skills should not be in a leadership role. Until changes are made, I would hesitate to recommend this location to others.

I’ve been coming here for 2-yrs and it’s a great atmosphere a lot of friendly people. My only complaint is the gym closes way too early and it gets extremely overcrowded after 5pm 🤦🏾‍♂️

been coming to the this gym for 3 years consistently. Nothing really caught my attention except the new GM Natalia she was actually cleaning the men's showers with the guy that usually clean it she wasn't giving him instructions she was actually cleaning with him leading by example, leading from the front she is an amazing person . The previous GM was extremely rude to customers and I saw how he talked to his coworkers very degrading and unprofessional. I wasn't going to renew my membership comes May but how I saw her managing this place made me want to stay . She always has a smile on her face and you can tell she is doing her job with a passion which is amazing in today's world . I never write a review about anything but I felt that I had to to this time to show my appreciation for her work. Happy and blessed new year to all

The gym has everything you need with an overall presence of pleasant gym-goers and staff. I want to give a special shout-out to Milton for being an exceptional trainer—caring, focused, intelligent, and positive. Additionally, Mariana deserves recognition for her insightful assessment and for pairing me up with Milton. Our initial conversation was not only warm and friendly but also genuinely empathetic, setting a great tone for my training journey. Highly recommended!!

They have plenty of quality equipment, and every time I went there were people but never too long of a wait for anything. The people who worked there were nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the lack of organization and respect for thr equipment from some of the patrons. Also being your own lock if you want to use the lockers. I was glad I was able to work out there, and the 3 day free pass was perfect for my work trip.

Chris just made me realize that everything from head to toe is connected. I just thought I needed to get my legs in shape. He had me work on my upper body and he explained what muscles we were working on and how that muscle is used in your daily life. He has good positive reinforcement. His compliments make me feel great about myself and also makes me feel like I am accomplishing things by working out

This is not my home gym, I travel a lot and I have been to AF locations all over the country and this is in my top 5! It’s a HUGE location with a lot of nice equipment and they have very friendly staff who are personable and actually out walking the floor, cleaning, training and getting to know the members. One thing Florida AF locations have in common is they call you by your name. I have been members at gyms for years and never had anyone even talk to me and I can go to an AF in Florida twice and they know my name.

First time wanting to look for a gym close to me. And when I booked an appointment to tour the gym at my designated time, I came to the door being locked and no one asking if I was doing the tour of the gym but instead when I tried calling their number no one answered or helped me. Until when I emailed them directly to ask and they told me they weren’t in the office and left at a certain time. Very unprofessional as also their website said otherwise. There was no communication of when they close and what the process looks like to come in for a tour when this happens. Had no direction of what to do until I emailed. So far not so good for me as far as experience.

Not my home Anytime Fitness, but been working out here on and off due to work travel. Super impressed with the cleanliness of the whole place and especially the equipment and around the equipment, an area where so many gyms fall down.

Probably the worst gym I have ever been in my life, do yourself a favor and don’t get a membership here!! Do not get a membership here! I had a membership with them for a few months. My contract was for 1 year. I had to move after about 2 months during COVID so I called to cancel my membership. Nobody answered. I called every other day for almost 4 months leaving messages to cancel my membership. No one answered the phone, on top of that the gym was fully closed and there was no people to get in contact with!!!, so I had no choice but to change my debit card so they couldn't charge me. They've been charging me for over 10 months and have sent it to collections all because I literally could not get ahold of them to cancel my membership. Horrible and nasty gym!

This community has transformed me completely; I started with 0 knowledge of CrossFit 4 years ago, and was immediately welcomed into this family. It went from just being my one hour of fitness to my second home. From the coaches to the athletes, they push me to the best version of myself each day! I am so proud of the discipline and commitment this community has taught me, and cannot wait to see how far I can go. Definitely hands down, the best box in Central Florida. By far the best box I have ever been to in my life. Not only does this box make you feel so welcomed from the moment you step in, but all the coaches are truly dedicated to you and your fitness goals. The coaches are there with you every step of the way when you need them the most which is unfortunately hard to find these days. Every member is so welcoming that you feel like you’re truly working out with your family and not just strangers. Definitely a must try whether you’re visiting or living in the central Florida area!

Could not be more happy with this place! Was instantly welcomed by not only the coaching staff and management, but by the other members. While the exercise is challenging and will push you, there is a very laid-back and welcoming environment before and after the workouts. Management gives you plenty of time to get a feel for the place and determine if it is the right fit for you and they have plenty of membership options and a flexible workout schedule that can work for everyone! Truly am starting to love this place!

One of the best gyms I have ever been to. From the people who workout there to the owner herself, everyone was beyond welcoming, respectful, and very nice. I hope to be back in the Orlando area again sometime soon so I can go back for more workouts. I’d recommend this gym to anyone visiting or living In the area and are looking for a gym to workout at.

I'm not a gym person(yet). Nice affordable Gym. Facilities are clean and the owners and partners are super nice. They have created three separate parts: the garage look and feel with heavy weights, an indoor under air with cardio and weights, and working on an upstairs cardio and chiropractic room. It's a good deal. Hope I stick with it :) They have the trainers but I'm not ready for all that, "yet". Also I like theres not the typical high pressure to sign up with a personal trainer. I give them a strong recommendation. Tip: Go around to the back garage door; the front entrance is blocked for emergency exit only.

I go worked on by Dr D because I could barely stand up after nonstop during the Olympia weekend. He took time out of his busy day, worked on me for 30 minutes and got me feeling dam near 100%. One of the best that’s ever worked on me. Thanks again Doc

Nice Gym, Clean, excellent customer service, Trainers are very knowledgeable, and they are all over you during your workout, making sure you are doing right to avoid injuries. You are never alone. I feel like a family already !

Came here on a Sunday for the open gym. No one was working so we called and they said they be right down but also just log in using the iPad. The iPads have all member data just openly available. I can see everyone’s date of birth, credit card information, contact info, children info… see photo. This place is also so dirty? Again, look at the pics. We ended up leaving because there is no way we are leaving our personal information and credit card information.

My son is OBSESSED with Ninja Warrior and always wanted to try this gym. He’s 9 and been asking since he was 6. He got 4 classes as a Christmas gift and did his first one today. He loved it and even though he was the most amateur kid in the class, the instructor was very encouraging and engaged. My son left with new skills and abilities than he came with just an hour later. We are already trying to see if we can make a membership happen. I will say yes, it is not the cleanest place, but the gym area is kept cleaner. It’s a more industrial vibe, which is perfectly fine, and the bathrooms were very clean. You’ll just definitely notice surfaces and areas on the main area floor that haven’t been cleaned in a while. Again, the gym and bathrooms are very clean so that’s really all that matters.

We attended a birthday party here. I must say I thought the instructors were very good and I liked how they had a structured interaction with the kids to help them learn and navigate the obstacles upstairs (not the main course downstairs). The kids really enjoyed it and definitely got their energy levels used up. What I didn’t like and strongly suggest to the owners is that they invest some time in cleaning the place. It’s one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever been to. I get it’s a gym and there may be chalk dust etc but it’s really dirty!!!

Two thumbs up for Obstacle Ninja Academy! We did my son’s 7th birthday party there today & it was great! My son likes Ninja Warrior, but we hadn’t ever been to this place prior to the party. I can definitely say we will be going back! We had the 12 kid package, but they have a larger package available if you are wanting to invite more kids. It was a great price, which includes two hours of fun & 30 minutes of set up beforehand. The party room is upstairs & you have the upstairs area & obstacles all to yourself during the party time. They start by warming the kids up, then they guide them through obstacle courses for an hour or so, then to the party room for whatever food/cake you bring for about 15 minutes, then open gym for the last 45 minutes. The workers were wonderful! They did a great job handling a bunch of first graders. They helped the kids on all the obstacles, if they needed assistance. Other than the set up (30 minutes before the party) & helping with food/cake when they are in the room, the staff handled the rest. You can bring whatever food you’d like! It’s about 5 minutes away from Millenia Costco, so we ordered pizzas, which was convenient to pick up. Would definitely recommend for your kiddo’s birthday party!

I wouldn’t recommend coming here, and if you do, DO NOT pay by credit card or provide any of your personal info. I arrived and waited 10 minutes alone downstairs. No employees anywhere. Called their phone line and was told to just sign myself in on the iPad. I turned on the iPad and realized that I now had access to the stored contact details, personal information (dob, address, etc) plus credit card information and billing history of EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. Needless to say, I opted to turn around and leave as I value my privacy. If you are or have ever been a customer here, I would recommend calling and making sure they delete all of your stored personal information as they clearly aren’t responsible enough to store it securely. Also, the place is quite dirty. Way more run down than the pics show. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming and if you do, pay cash and leave fake details.

Amazing gym ran by amazing people. Full of people serious about their training, but still a wonderfully receptive and caring community. Everyone is so supportive. I would recommend this gym to anyone no matter your level of fitness. Check it out!

I went TFX gym for the first time yesterday. I cleaned all equipment before use and still left a concerning and disgusting rash on my shoulders and back area after using hip thrust machine mind you I also was fully clothed in the gym wearing a long sleeve jacket , long sleeve shirt with thumb holes to cover my palms of my hands when lifting or touching gym equipment ,sweatpants and sneakers. My sleeves turned from white to brown after using all gym equipment even after cleaning equipment before use. Would not recommend this gym to anyone. Don’t risk your health for an affordable gym.

Great gym for people serious about their fitness. I train with one of the fitness coaches there(Alpha is his name) and it has drastically changed my strength and physique. Really unique equipment which is a plus for me

If you want a great place to train with some of the most incredible equipment around then you may have found a Diamond in the rock here depending upon your preferences. I have been to many gyms over the years and this place can hang with the best of them if you are looking for access to real equipment that works. On top of it all the owner Tristan is one of the, if not nicest gymnasium owners I have probably met in my life. He is Courteous,professional and knowledgeable. Check this place out. It’s clean, 24 hours and a great crowd of people. Ample parking outside.

I started going to TFX with my trainer, Carolina. It has great equipment for lifting like squat racks, deadlifting platforms, a lot of machines, dumbbells up to >100 lb. There are also 2 stair masters & 2 treadmills. It’s an awesome facility for bodybuilding, powerlifting, or people like me who just workout to stay fit. The gym is not in the best area, but I’ve never felt unsafe. The parking lot is well lit. I love the accessibility of the gym being open 24 hours & I’ve never had an issue with it being uncomfortably packed (like at a Crunch or similar). If you’re looking for a place with no frills & a variety of equipment to do work, TFX if the place for you.
