Best Gym near Manassas, Virginia

I’ve been a member since the grand opening and it’s been the best gym experience I’ve been too. Francisco signed me up and gave me an amazing tour of the gym and I’ve been here at least 4 times a week. The recovery room and the strike room are my 2 favorite areas of the gym and Jordan the front desk associate is always on point if you have any questions about the gym! 10/10 definitely recommend! If yall have any questions go to Jordan and Francisco and also Brandon he’s one of the best Strike coaches in the Manassas area!

I visited one life for my free session to see if this gym was the right for me and I have to say they did an amazing job! From the cleanliness of the gym from talking about my goals and how to get there! I feel confident that this is the right gym for me. It’s a very spacious gym with lots of equipment! If you haven’t visited you definitely should!

This is the best gym membership I’ve ever had. The equipment and space is TOP NOTCH. Staff is extremely friendly, inviting, accommodating… I really can’t hype this place up enough in words, you simply have to come see for yourself. Special shout out to Francisco!

Onelife Manassas has been open since Monday, and I've fit several workouts in. Some minor opening issues, like the pool and related facilities aren't open yet, and the Backyard outdoor exercise area isn't open (but, given current temps... not a major issue!), but the gym is great. Lots of equipment, all brand new so in great shape. Minimal waits for some equipment, but no deal breakers since there are many options. A very large free weight and dumbbell (up to 125 lbs!) area, as well as a large variety of machines from Hoist. Staff has been friendly and seem knowledgeable, and they were very welcoming on the first day. Cleaning seems constant, but not obtrusive or obstructive.

New onelife in Manassas, staff members are extremely nice and always have high energy! Mosses is the best! Always ready to help. Highly recommend.

My son’s first time playing with other children other than his siblings. We scheduled a trial class. It was phenomenal. Clean, organized, the staff at this location really do make the experience. went from planning on $109/monthly ( 1/wk) to unlimited for $129 because I just want to bring my son here. Lots of parents bring their kids here .I was surprised to see so many. And it’s like they all share a certain relationship with the instructors. It’s like a little community

We love My Gym Manassas so much, I can’t recommend it enough. The facility is clean (they wipe everything down between classes), and the coaches are all wonderful and SO KIND. I really appreciate the staff at My Gym for being so sweet to my son and treating him with such kindness. They’ve really taken the time to get to know him and some of his quirks, and they always go above and beyond to make him feel welcome and comfortable. He has really started to blossom socially and I know that his experiences at My Gym have been a huge help with his development. I’m so thankful for this place and we always look forward to going to ‘nastics each week! Give it a shot, you won’t regret it.

The BEST birthday ever! We hosted my 4 year olds party here and everyone had a blast! Ms T and Mr Seth are great! They had activities that appealed to all ages and even a bubble machine for the 6 month old in the group to enjoy! The team knew what they were doing and kept all the activities on schedule with time for cake and pizza too. Definitely would recommend and we will be back for sure!

We absolutely LOVE My Gym! I have been taking my 15 month old here since he was nine months. It is his favorite place to be and it’s also great for me as a mom to make other mom friends! The days I take him to the gym he is so much happier and sleeps so much better!! I feel so comfortable bringing him here with how clean they keep the facility, especially since he likes to try and put everything in his mouth! They keep the gym so clean and sanitize the place and all the toys in between classes. The instructors are also so amazing and make my child feel so loved! They always welcome him with big smiling faces and call him by name the moment we walk in. I could go on and on how great My Gym is. We will be coming to My Gym as long as we can!!

We love my gym! Our two year old daughter has learned so much there and made so many little friends. The teachers are phenomenal and are so great with the children. The classes are engaging, interactive and so much fun! Thank you to all the amazing teachers at my gym for creating such a wonderful environment for children!!

Christine K. leads an awesome Body Works Plus Abs here on Sunday mornings. I've done many of the different classes here and hers is by far the best. All of the Aqua Fit instructors are very good as well. The locker room and showers are clean. There is a ton of equipment so no waiting. And there is a good variety of classes to choose from. I'm very happy with this gym.

Horrible maintenance. Half of equipment are out of service at all the time, and the other half that is working is in a horrible condition. Takes months and months for an equipment to be repaired. Like you might think they don’t have a maintenance person. One small repair takes months to be done. It’s just frustrating. One example you cannot finish your workout cause there is two leg extensions machine and both broken. One has been broken since I became member, a year ago. Horrible management and maintenance. Don’t waste your money and time here.

I have been a member for two years at LA Fitness, and have been going to every class that Chris K. instructs! She is a PHENOMENAL fitness instructor and her classes have led me to lose over 100 pounds! Her workouts are amazing and she’s always so encouraging and so supportive! She even makes accommodations to anyone who can’t do a certain work out and always wants everyone to feel welcomed and appreciated! I go to all her classes and she’s honestly the best! Chris K is so motivating and puts us first always. Coming from someone who had little experience with any gym workout, she has helped shape me today and helped me build confidence and become the best version of myself! Overall, she is an amazing fitness instructor! Highly recommend!

At this point I hope this gym goes out of business once Onelife gym opens. This gym has progressively gotten worse and after 6 years as a member I’m finally canceling my membership. Took OVER a month to open the pool due to “maintenance”. There’s always at least 3 machines broken. The list could really go on, but now we can’t even use this part of the gym when private training isn’t occurring. Also, to have to ask permission to use equipment you pay monthly to use is wild too. They want to keep this part of the gym private for training, but also train people in the other areas too. Don’t waste your money here.

The manager Joseph is terrible to his employees and he runs a terrible location. I couldn't believe how long it took to get the pool opened up again. The equipment is in dire need of attention. It's just not a great environment at this point. Big mistake with that guy... hopefully things look up as time goes on.

Gold's Gym offers a travel pass which is awesome when traveling. I used my travel pass to visit this location. The staff was very friendly and the gym was clean. They have plenty of equipment, (free weights, hammer strength, etc.) and a cardio room. The men's locker room and showers were also very clean.

Had a great experience today at Golds Gym the employees were very professional and friendly and the owner was very helpful and welcoming!

Gold's Gym is a fantastic place to be a part of for your fitness journey. The gym offers a diverse range of equipment and classes that cater to all fitness levels. What truly sets it apart is the exceptional customer service, exemplified by the incredible receptionist, Sofia. Her warm welcome and assistance create a welcoming atmosphere that motivates you to work out. Joining Gold's Gym has been an excellent decision! I highly recommend Gold’s if you are looking to join a great gym!

The Liberia Ave Golds Gym is the best location of this franchise in the area. It has plenty of space, a wide variety of equipment, a friendly staff, and clean facilities. It used to be 24hrs which was the icing on the cake but it currently has similar hours to most other gyms. I only wish it had a pendulum squat or a power squat pro but what gym does?

This by far the best studio. The owner and instructors are professionally trained and are just beautiful people. There are so many classes to be offered in the aerial arts. Silks, Lyra, pole and non aerial (flexibility, floorwork). So there is something for everyone. I have made more progress in my 2 months being here than I did on my own and at my old studio since 2018. I'm not just going there for classes, I'm going there because I feel like part of a family. Even when you have no confidence in yourself, your instructors and fellow students will. Thank you Sarah for giving us this wonderful/safe space to be. (especially after the difficult year(s) Covid has given all of us)

I have been with this studio over a year now! And this is not you average pole studio, it’s a safe place to come a feel safe in your own skin while getting fit at the same time. They have so my different aerial arts( Lyra, silk and pole). I can honestly say this has turned into a family that has shaped me into feeling empowered. Sarah is a customer service queen and she really know how to run an amazing business!

I've been with Phoenix for a little over a month and have LOVED my experience so far! All the instructors are so personable and meet you where you're at. I came in with very little flexibility or athleticism, but all my instructors have been kind and helpful; I've never been made to feel inadequate or weak- one of my greatest fears of exercise studios/gyms. Multiple people (both students and instructors) have intentionally taken time to say encouraging things and welcome me into the environment. If you're looking for a pole studio, you've found it- I cant recommend Phoenix enough!

Top notch studio. The owner, Sarah, and her instructors are so welcoming and encouraging. The attention to detail in breaking down and accommodating moves for students is especially notable. The variety in class options and workshops are awesome, there's always something new and interesting to try out. I highly recommend this studio across all levels of aerial and non-aerial classes!

I have been attending various classes here for the past six months. every instructor I have had is top-notch. and I have been to a handful of dance classes and learn more about my body and technique then I have that other Studios that I was at for years. there is such a variety of styles and classes. I have tried almost all of them and have never been disappointed. amazingly run studio !!

Man, when I tell you this is an A1 gym with the best coaches you could ever ask for l, I mean it. My kids have been learning so much here and winning competition after competition. If you're looking to get you kids into cheer this is the one and only option. The advancement they made since they started to now is phenomenal.

VRA started a level 5 team this year. They received a full-paid bid and placed 9th at World’s. Their other teams also received full-paid bids. I can not say enough good things about the coaches. They are creative and talented, and most importantly care about the athletes. We were truly blessed our daughter was a part of such a great team and had the best experience we could have imagined. She is looking forward to another year at VRA. Thank you Sheldon & Shawnice!

I love this little shop. I’ve bought crystals, a mala, and a pendulum so far. The energy is so calming and peaceful to quietly shop around and bask in all the neat items that they have. I feel like I get lost in a little fairytale, and want to take everything home. The owner and folks working are very nice and knowledgeable.

Amazing quality crystals, super happy with the wide variety and healthiness of them. The great prices helped with the enjoyment of going. I got 12 crystals for a fraction of the price than it would have costed me somewhere else. On top of the wide range of crystals they had a great selection of jewelry, oils, decks, and more. The staff was very kind and patient. When I was looking for something, they seemed very happy and eager to help. The wait time was no problem at all, when we first arrived there were 6-7 customers, they all checked out fairly quick. Then when I was browsing, one other person came in knowing what they wanted and left. When I checked out, they had to put everything into the system manually, which took a few minutes but it was enjoyable talking with the person working the register at the time. The staff talk to each other and seem to have a good connection and if you ever want to butt in, you can and they’d be happy to have you a part of the conversation

Being new to the state, I did not expect to run into so many metaphysical stores..I keep forgetting that I am in the south basically. Having moved from the northern parts of the USA, it was tough finding certain stores when I was living there. Anyway, I have discovered several of these stores in VA, and what I will say is that not all of them FEEL quaint or peaceful. I live much closer to certain ones, and I would much rather travel to Manassas to go to Rising Phoenix to shop for certain things; the energy is much better there. The space is big and there are several carefully selected products from merchants, in order to enrich your life and protect your spirit. The customer service is always good…something that is very important in order to retain customers. It’s not phony interaction, and based on what I have experienced so far, no one pretends like they can “read your energy” just so you can buy something.

This shop has the most unique items, so many art and jewlery pieces that are one and only. I highly recommend this shop the energy and vibe when you walk in is immediately relaxing. I could stay there all day😇 everyone in the shop is so friendly and welcoming and the owner Jacqui is the best!

I love this PF, very clean and lots of equipment! I’ve used the bathroom and showers, and it’s extremely clean! My only complaint is I wish they were open 24/7 … or at the very least, open until 9pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. It closes too early at 7pm, please extend by two hours!!

This Planet Fitness is one of the best locations that I have visited (and I have been to over twenty as an "off and on" member since 2010). It isn't just the cleanliness, or the availability of good/new equipment that makes this place so special (though that is still a definite plus!). What makes this location so great is the staff, specifically Uzair and Solamon. These guys answer all of my gym-related questions and respond to all of my requests with smiles on their faces. It's not often that I call out employees by name, but one of the highlights of my weekend, is getting to have a short chat with these two rockstars before I start my workout. They say "Customer Service is dead," but anyone who walks into this location will likely site their interactions with Uzair and Solamon as evidence to the contrary. Thanks again for all of your help, as I continue on my fitness journey. You guys are the best!

I recently joined and have only visited a couple days. I can't say I am entirely happy due to the following factors. I am mainly interested in lifting weights and basic body building workout. It's a fairly large gym but there's only 3 bench and a handful of dumbels and weights. That won't be a problem if there weren't 15 guys always waiting in line for the same equipment. In other words, most of the body building equipment are mostly inaccessible/unavailable during peak hours. Otherwise, it's a decent place for workout. It's clean, people are nice and equipment are well maintained.

There just isn’t enough equipment for this to be considered a fully functional gym. It’s 90% treadmills. It’s overrun with teenagers so the only time to possibly get a decent workout in is between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM but even that is questionable. They have one leg press and one set of dumbbells for the entire gym. I’ve tried to make it work because it’s close to my house and the staff is very friendly, but I’m going to have to cancel my membership and just drive further somewhere else.

I recently just had friend join and i regret and will never recommend to anyone; I would definitely give this place a 0 if possible; worst customer service, we need those previous employees. Person name McKenzie got to leave this place, she make this place very uncomfortable. One day she went and blast the horn loud l almost had panic attack. She’s very unprofessional she follow people like people there to shoplift or something. I need a call from customer service so I can further elaborate on the issue. I come in the evening and current employee are the worst.
