I’ve had an amazing experience at Lifetime Fitness in Laguna Niguel! The facility is truly top-notch, with everything from well-maintained equipment to beautiful pool areas and spacious workout rooms. It’s clear they prioritize a clean, welcoming, and motivating environment. What really sets this location apart, though, is the Concierge team. They go above and beyond to make sure every member feels supported and valued. The team handled our recent membership changes with such care and efficiency, even waiving the standard cancellation notice for us and processing everything seamlessly. I felt genuinely taken care of, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you, Lifetime Laguna Niguel, for creating a place that combines excellent facilities with exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a gym that feels like a community!

They have an amazing supervisor there named Olivia who is such an asset to their organization. She is the reason I got the membership for their child care services (which are also fantastic) and why I'll be signing up with them again in the future. She always follows up with any concerns and has answered all questions and concerns I've had with the utmost professionalism. The club is great, but her attention makes it really stand out. Thank you for all that you do!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service at Lifetime Laguna Niguel. The management is abysmal, showing little to no regard for member satisfaction. The sales team operates with deceptive practices, making false promises to attract new members. For instance, they assured me of a specific price point with access to multiple Lifetime locations, only to reverse that policy a month later. As a result, members are left with less than what was originally promised, creating a bait-and-switch experience. The pressure to sign up for personal training is another glaring issue. The sales team’s aggressive tactics often border on harassment, making the enrollment process uncomfortable and unprofessional. My experience with the LifeSpa further underscored the lack of customer care. The manager was unreasonably rude and dismissive, showing no willingness to accommodate or address unforeseen circumstances. It’s clear that Lifetime prioritizes enforcing its rigid, profit-driven policies over supporting its members’ needs. That said, the Operations team is a bright spot in an otherwise poorly managed club. They do an excellent job maintaining cleanliness and creating a positive atmosphere for members. It’s disheartening that Lifetime undervalues such dedicated employees by paying them the least compared to other departments. Overall, Lifetime Laguna Niguel seems to prioritize profits over people, leaving loyal members to feel undervalued and misled. I cannot recommend this location until significant improvements are made in their management and policies.

The place to be! My experience is when approaching this magnificent building and park my car at this beautiful parking structure then approaching to the lobby and seeing all these professional beautiful people then walking to the lobby and amazing smell of the space and the beautiful receptions I already feel I got my money’s worth. Not to mention the great changing room, shower, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool, all the amenities, and then I go upstairs using all these high tech equipment, pleasant space to workout and seeing all these good looking people around as well as great classes including hot yoga, it just makes LifeTime the place to be!

Gym is amazing and clean, but the staff is very unfriendly, especially the ones who work the front when they check you in..no one ever greets you with a smile and genuinely try to act nice. It feels like your bothering them to check in or seems very robotic and not very member enagaing. Membership is not cheap the least we ask if if the staff can be friendly and the facility can be clean..this location does one of those things very well..the other not so much.

I have been a 24 hour member for about 15 years. Many good memories made in this gym. However I pay extra money to get the “super sport membership “ mostly so I can play basketball. Now the genius corporate guys at 24 now sees a massive profit potential in the sport of pickle ball,, instead of actually spending money and building and adding features to their gym… they completely scrap the basketball court’s entirely… and not just at one location, but every 24 in my area. Not only does this frankly piss me off, it’s an extremely shortsighted investment that is betting on the trendiness of pickleball vs basketball which is an Olympic sport that existed for over 100 years. Not to mention the entire gym is in literally third world conditions, dangerously dusty courts, holes in the wall, crumpling floors, torn or no nets . I even tried getting a job where the manager was late to my interview and kept me waiting a week and a half despite multiple calls on my end, just to tell me someone else got the job. Yet I come back to a completely disgustingly neglected court. I can promise that if i was hired I would have some sort of initiative to clean the court. 24 hour fitness has unfortunately dilapidated into a shell of its past self, with higher costs , less hours, and less amenities. After my membership expired for the first time in 15 years I am cancelling my membership. If 24 really wanted to add pickball, why not add another building or use half the court. I am sure others will do the same. I have been such a fan and this is unacceptable and incredibly disappointing.

This is a good gym for those who don’t complain about the small details. You’re paying $30/Month for an abundance of gym equipment. Now that they renovated the place, it’s even better. I’ve been a member at Lifetime for many months and the only real difference is that Lifetime cares more about the cleanliness of the gym, whereas 24 is all about serving as many people as possible. Give it a shot!

I've been a member of 24 hour fitness for a long time, and this is my primary gym location. While I was very pleased that this location FINALLY did a well needed remodel of the gym space, they for some reason did not remodel the locker rooms and showers which has years of deferred maintenance and are in terrible condition. I pay good money for my membership and I am frankly appalled that they did not fix their shoddy locker rooms at the same time. Pathetic!

This is a gym, not a luxury resort hotel. Get used to the GYM having some filth because remember what people come here to do- sweat. Stop acting like this place should have floors clean enough to eat on and staff to cater to your every need like they're a hired butler. It's annoying people in my community are so high maintenance. You want a luxury gym? Pay the money to go to life time or equinox... or better yet buy equipment for your house. Otherwise shut your pie holes and enjoy the great deal you get on this place, that has all the equipment in the world, to get in shape. It's truly that simple.

Update : they are closed for an entire month Dec 20- Jan 20, no discount, not even when I paid for 12 months but only get 11 months. This is the only 24 hour gym Please for the love of God fix your hot water I haven't been able to shower for days at a time because this is the only 24 hour fitness that's actually open 24 hours I'm unable to shower at the other ones because of my work schedule false advertising it's not even open 24 hours cuz they're closed on holidays hot waters been broke for a week some people rely on this place to shower, price should be cheaper for inconveniences like this. Please please focus on this location more it's the only one that's open 24 hours (minus holidays) so we really need it to stay open but it needs to be functional . Staff is kind. But when I try to make a phone call I have to talk to robot for ten minutes wish it would just transfer me to front desk

Planet fitness gym in Laguna Niguel has a ton of parking which is a great feature because other gyms around the area like 24 hour fitness is always packed. The gym has a variety of machines and free weight dumbbells. This location also has a second floor, which is dedicated to cardio equipment like treadmills etc. Similar to other locations, the staff is very friendly and the facility is always clean. Even during the busiest times, I don’t find that I have to wait to workout or share machines. The tanning is also kept very clean if you choose to do that. For the price is really good. The only suggested change would be if the gym’s hours could be extended later or even be 24 hours.

I have been training for over 5 years, I have been in many gyms and the most important thing for me is the cleanliness of the gym and the training machines. I currently have a one-year membership at 24 Hours Fitness but unfortunately it is very dirty and that is why I decided to look for another gym and now I have been training here for three weeks and the morning staff is super friendly, the day before I had the opportunity to speak with the manager to congratulate him for the great work that he and his team are doing.... Thank you very much Tylor for your time and work. ✅

I can always get the machine I want at this Gym... way less crowded than other major chains... defecting from 24 hour. The machines here also are very interesting as they mostly do not have a solid bar between left and right hands. IE if you push only with the left hand only that side goes, meaning the little helper and balance muscles get involved to make both hands push evenly. Due to that I really had to step down in my weight I'm pushing and get used to these machines... which I love. They are closer to free weights than the machines where you could push on one side and the other side would go up as well. Does that make sense? I used to do only free weights but now that I've turned 65 I prefer machines.

This location is clean and calm. The members are lowkey and focused on their own workouts. I never have to wait for cardio equipment. The 30-minute classes are great. The trainer teaches at your level with just a bit of push and lots of encouragement. My favorite pieces of equipment are the battle ropes and hand over hand rope pull. If you have the fancy membership, you can finish with a chair massage. RECOMMEND

I go to the location in Laguna Niguel at 5am on select weekdays. Been going for about a year now so I have a feel for the facility and usual people. Overall it’s a great place, although it has its limitations depending on your needs. PROs — Meticulously clean at all times, great staff, very modern facilities and equipment, very cheap ($10/month), not a ton of people regardless of the time of day. CONs — Wish it opened earlier than 5am, amenities are limited, “black club” features are lackluster, no barbell-style equipment, weights don’t get very high versus other gyms. Overall it’s great for beginners, older folks, and those wanting a little of everything. Not really recommended for competitive fitness training or those looking for advanced-asset facilities (tires, bars, etc). Would be better if it had a sauna or steam room, opened earlier and closed later, and maybe the “black list” benefits were more than tanning and massage chairs. But as said before it’s only $10/month and much cleaner and more modern than most places, so hard to argue. Definitely recommend it if you are close to one. I’ve been a gym rat for almost 25 years.

Please remember the younger crowd that this too it’s a Senior Facility and don’t forget to share the facility with our Seniors, please have manners and a little of more respect to them. I came today from the second floor because my grandmother is handicap and the people from the inside where’s out of place with my grandmother, etc. I don’t even want to repeat or bother of what he shouted at my Nona. Rude, immature man. One day you’re going to be old, don’t forget this. K.A.R.M.A Please kindly have the second floor door open on Tuesday & Thursday during their hour of work out. Jaden @ the front lobby & Anita were very professional, helpful and understanding. Keep up the great work.

I love this gym! The staff is super friendly, the weight room is huge and there's a ton of equipment. The staff in the kid zone are great. My oldest had a hard time at first and the staff made her comfortable and now she loves going there.

Very nice, clean gym with lots of opportunities for activities. But their app structure is confusing. Two apps, one local and the other apparently national exc. that it's not completely? and no schedule in the app?

This place has become a joke. I expressed some of my displeasure with the boss Jen who did not have much interest in solving the problems, but rather telling me that I should look elsewhere if I cannot handle the fact that I am not getting what I pay for. Customer complaints and feedback fall on deaf ears and nothing gets resolved with any efficiency or timeliness. It took over two years to get the floor in the weight room redone and now they allowed the roof to leak so long that several tiles came down during the last storm. The basketball court, which is almost NEVER open to members, is one step above unplayable condition due to the lack of upkeep and tremendous amount of dirt, dust and other debris on it. Bottom line is that if you do not have a family with children participating in activities here this is not a place for you. Staff and attitudes like what I have encountered are the reason why the YMCA is going downhill quick. 3/19 update- After my above post was read I was promptly contacted by management (Jen) who encouraged me to modify this post. I made it clear that if the needed changes took place I was would do so. Once Jen and Bill realized that they actually had to do their job(s) they opted to terminate my membership rather then dealing with the ongoing negligence of customer service and the facility. Moral of this story is pretty simple and that is if you do not have a family stay away from this place. LA Fitness is less then half the monthly membership charge with longer hours and employees who value the customers. Only took me one workout over there to figure that out.

**UPDATE APRIL 30, 2024** I've been going to Orangetheory Laguna Niguel since January 2023, and I can honest say that it's the best thing EVER!....I work out 3 days a week and have lost over 30 lbs by working out here in conjunction with lots of walking/hiking and a sensible 2,500 calorie a day diet. Every workout feels different and challenging but not unrealistic and I never feel like I'm being pushed too far or overly exhausted but rather the perfect workout to get my body moving and building muscle while losing fat! I recently signed up my 19 y.o. son and now he's working out with me 3 days a week and also loving it! I love teaching my son the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle and the entire staff is so supportive and encouraging of both of us! Maya, Harper and Renata are always so cheerful and lively when we get there to pump us up and all of the coaches including Chelsi, Melissa, Markus and Jared work their butts off to bring out the best of each and every one of us.....it's so invigorating and uplifting every single workout!! and let's not forget the awesome app that tracks your progress and the incredible playlists and music that keeps the beat pumping...love it! Thanks team OTF......you have literally changed my life and I can't thank ALL of you enough!! Okay, it's been about 2 months since I joined Orangetheory Fitness in Laguna Niguel and I can honestly say I'm loving it! I'm an avid walker and hiker and previously had a personal trainer to get in better shape but the cost after a few months was too much to bear. For less than $200 a month I get to work out at my pace on my schedule and it's usually three times a week. All of the trainers are top notch and they push you and encourage you and make you feel like you want to work harder without riding your back. There are members of all ages and athletic abilities so everyone is welcome and we all encourage each other! Best decision I've made for my health in a long time! What are you waiting for, sign up today and thank me later.

This club is amazing! The front desk are so welcoming and the manager Katie is so helpful and making sure I am comfortable and happy with the workouts at orange theory. I am visiting this location and I can say that just being there for a couple weeks I felt a really close gym family amongst the members. Will definitely be the club for me to visit when I am back in the OC! They go above and beyond to get you signed up quickly and with a membership package that suits you best.

I’m visiting from Seattle and have taken 2 classes at this studio. They were amazing and just as fun as back home. The coaches are super fun (and funny) and the front desk staff are so welcoming. I love that they do weekly evening outdoor runs too - I wish my studio at home did that. Great way to build community! Lovely space all around!!

After trying out Modern Pilates with BE Fit for the first time, I felt the results of the workout in my entire body. Our instructor was knowledgeable about how to get the most out of our time and knew how to adjust each person’s experience to keep it challenging.

I love this place despite working very hard and being pretty sore after classes. I fractured my neck after giving birth to my third kid and continued to have neck pain every So often. Since starting pilates at Be Fit, my neck hasn’t acted up; I credit that to strengthening my core. The teachers are fantastic, bringing a different energy to the class. I’ve even talked my husband into coming to class, and he loved it too.

Obsessed with this place! I’m a personal trainer & gym girl but I was missing out this whole time on Pilates. Sophia G. Is my FAVORITE instructor. She’s fun, makes class challenging and sets the tone to make you feel unstoppable. I’ve gotten so many of my friends and own clients to go here! Hands down the best studio in OC.

Instructors are great. The customer service is poor. I had been a client for over 4 years, referred couple of clients, and 1 single day that I forgot to check in, they charged me for the no show and FROZE MY ACCOUNT! So disrespectful and unprofessional. They don’t have a front desk person that check in clients so we all have to do it by ourselves. That’s ok. But one single day that you don’t do it they treat you like a dishonest person and don’t let you even USE THE CLASSES YOU OWN AND PAIS FOR. I have been paying $270/MONTH and they won’t “trust” you that you just forgot to self check in. Unbelievable. Will never recommend this place ever again. All customer service is done by emails, no phone. Very cold and disappointing.
