Nice facility. Good service. A bit pricey and they make it very difficult to cancel. I took a job in another city and only came back every other weekend. They insisted that I had to show up in person during business hours to cancel, causing me to pay several months of fees when I never used the gym. If you die or are hospitalized will they keep charging your credit card? You should be able to cancel by email or phone.

So pleased the cafe has reopened! A nice spot to meet a friend for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat (delicious chai latte). No one rushes you and there is comfortable seating with a view of the inlet. The food options look yummy, although I have not yet indulged. The wait staff was friendly, cheerful, and prompt. Tables and chairs were clean, as was the entire cafe.

A very nice, sunny facility overall. Working up courage to try more group classes -- I would like them to have instructor profiles and individual class descriptions online or something so you can get a sense of the vibe before trying a new class. The differentiation between Ignite classes and regular group classes is confusing and strange, there seems to be no real difference other than requiring a sign up. Also: surprised they do not provide towels, wish they would. People who don't bring their own but should end up sweating all over

Was in town for a week and got a week pass. Great gym. Both locations! I used both! Clean, plenty of free weights and machines. Locker room was more than you’d need. Wish that gym was mine in my hometown! Love the fact that the dumbbells were in 2.5 lb incriminates. Even most of the best gyms are 5lb.

Great facility. Good locker rooms. Well staffed. Complete with all types of workout equipment. And 2 pools and a hot tub Well worth it. I like to patronize locally owned businesses.

I have been a member of Crunch Fitness from the beginning. All I can say as a person who workouts regularly and cares about the quality of equipment is: Ithaca needed this gym! Affordable, clean, supportive community and great leadership and trainers! I have the Peak Result membership and I brought guests with me regularly, no one told me not to! Overall the gym is highly recommended, it is suitable for anyone who likes doing purely cardio workout, weight training or both! There is a a lot of benches and squat racks I never had to wait for one to empty! I still haven’t tried personal training, but I observe the trainers helping their trainer really well.

Crunch is an amazing gym! The staff is friendly, the equipment is top-notch, and the atmosphere is motivating. Great place to crush your fitness goals! I would also like to say that its a very great gym with everything you need which is really great as well!

Great fitness club in Ithaca. Even with the annual fees, this club is still the best value. You won’t find any gym with this big free weight area where you can workout without running into other people. Staff is great too including the GM.

I love Crunch Fitness in Ithaca. The staff is super-friendly and very knowledgeable on workout techniques to stay safe, while building muscle. The vibe there is uplifting and fun. There are so many different machines that target specific muscle groups. You seldom have to wait for someone to finish using a machine you want to use, because there are duplicate machines and dumbbell weights of all denominations. The facility and machines are up-to-date and clean. I look forward to working out there on a daily basis.

Crunch fitness in Ithaca, NY is like no other gym I have gone to. From their super friendly atmosphere, their huge supply of high quality equipment, all the way to their dedicated trainers, I don’t see myself choosing any other gym. Stop down and check them out!

It’s a nice gym, most of the staff are pretty friendly, they recently added this “ignite” program were they charge you an extra $60 a month and you can go to their training classes. That part makes sense, but you aren’t allowed to use the room to workout if you have a gym membership… so basically you pay $40 for some of the gym and $100 for all of it. Kinda silly but overall the gym is clean and well kept, and most of the staff are really laid back and friendly, also be cautious of all the activation and cancellation fees👍 Another note is, their hours are horrible, make sure you call ahead before driving to the gym. Nine times out of time it says it’s open online but it’s actually closed when you get here. They very rarely update their times online.

Their Ignite fitness program is the best!! Instructors are all professionally qualified to teach the various classes. They're all super knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to modify to the needs of participants. Classes are challenging for seasoned athletes and modifications given for beginners at the same time. Staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to help everyone. Sauna is spacious and super nice also. My home away from home.

Recently joined this gym! They totally redid the place and it is so clean and very friendly staff. All of the equipment is new and I have never had to wait to use a machine I want. Highly recommend!

The biggest rip off. Gym is clean and machines are good, but to ask $25.00 just to put an account on vacation is ridiculous. And this comes with a patronizing explanation of the need to char me for maintain my account while I am not using it. What are they doing feeding and watering it.

The actual classes were ok – really depends on the instructor. The issue I had was that I wanted to cancel my membership but you need to give a month notice before cancelling and I was not made aware of this policy when I signed up. Really disappointing, especially since I couldn't go due to an injury.

Been going since June 2022. It's been hard for me to keep up a consistent gym program, but since joining this gym I have been regularly exercising every week since. Where before I wouldn't have that level of consistency. The work outs are challenging, but they always have options to meet you where you and your body are. I enjoy all the coaches I've interacted with and it does become a close knit community when you go to the same classes week after week. I feel a lot stronger when I do functional everyday movements and I have never had a gym program get me to not press my snooze alarm in the morning cause I know I need to go. The late canceling/no show fee of $12 is a lot, but that definitely keeps me from not missing a workout. You can always avoid the fee by taking a class later in the day, and the staff is understandable if a difficult circumstance keeps you from coming in. Definitely feel like I get in a good workout after each one and no two workouts are exactly the same each week. So it's very stimulating for me. Grateful for this community and since it is national I can get workouts in whenever I travel for work or personal. I used to pay for the premier because I enjoyed going so much (4-5x) I now do the elite plan with 8 classes since it fits my budget right now but I still feel well exercised with this monthly plan (I make sure to come in on days where there are speciality workouts or milestones).

This is by far the best workout class and studio I’ve ever been to. The management is flawless, and the entire staff is so incredible, kind, and encouraging. The space is super clean, and the ladies at the front desk so sweet and always helpful. Marcie, is by far one of the coolest and most motivating coaches you will have! She brings it every time, and will make you feel strong and special. Amazing place, I couldn’t recommend it more!!!!

Driving for my first session. Received a text stating if I am not there at a certain time I won't be able to work out and would need to reschedule. Which they wanted me there 30 mins prior to scheduled class time. Texted me to be sure I was leaving and on my way, asking what my ETA is. Called this morning at 5:30 am and she wanted to ask me 50 questions first thing in the morning. It's a workout class and in all honesty they made me have high anxiety first thing in the morning and very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. She also stated it's corporate policy that I need to be there 30 mins before my scheduled workout although I have worked out at one a few years ago and never dealt with this type of customer service, and I only had to be there 15 mins before my scheduled class. Sounds like Orange Theory is desperate to convert a sale or this location isn't trained properly. NOT MY CUP OF TEA

Everything about OTF Ithaca rocks - the coaches are friendly, knowledgable and really help motivate you and the staff is stellar - and A++++ on their communications. Just such a great fitness experience - I’ve accomplished my weight loss goals which I thought was the only thing I wanted but discovering there is so much more to my fitness journey. Stronger every day thanks to the wonderful OTF Ithaca!

I really appreciate this studio, especially since they increased the number of mat, reformer, and other equipment Pilates classes. I am a regular Pilates practitioner and it is difficult to find well-trained instructors and a flexible variety of evening classes in the Ithaca area. Many thanks to Vellidan for supplying this!

Joining Vellidan (formerly The Pilates Room) was the best New Year's Resolution I made for this year. This space is warm and welcoming and all the instructors have been wonderful while also being completely unique in their focus and delivery. I started January with the unlimited membership (which I highly recommend) so I've taken Facial Refresh, Core XIIT, Pilates (mat) and TRX classes. Each class and each instructor has something different to offer, and with the small class sizes you feel like a part of the community immediately. From week to week the instructors remember specific injuries (to recommend modifications), goals and other pieces that are so important to substantial growth in strength and stamina. The online system is very easy to use to sign up for classes and the cancellation policy is extremely fair. Being right in the heart of Fall Creek with ample parking, the commute there is never a problem. In addition, the class times are perfect for my schedule and they have so many various classes to offer, it's so much more than just Pilates! Finally, they even have online classes if you can't make it in-person on a specific day, which I have also used and found to be extremely beneficial. I really can't recommend Vellidan enough. As a mom of two young children, this was the reminder I needed that feeling strong doesn't need to mean high intensity workouts with guaranteed injuries. Pilates is highly focused core work that is low intensity with a laser focus on correct form rather than overexertion. In just one month I already feel stronger and can feel my balance and core strength improving significantly. Thanks to Tori and the wonderful and knowledgeable instructors at Vellidan for providing such an important service to the downtown area!

After suffering from chronic back pain and being in and out of physical therapy as well as chiropractic care for over 20 years I have finally progressed. In the past I would finish physical therapy and try to start a regular exercise routine only to discover that my back pain would return and then back to physical therapy and chiropractic care I would go again. Thanks to Vellidan now I am pain free while I exercise and also as I move through out the day! I can’t express enough gratitude for this community.❤️
