I love this gym but it's not open on Saturday or Sunday. I feel like they would get a lot of business on those days but instead, you have to drive to a different place. Otherwise it would get 5 stars from me

This gym is small but has everything you need. Cardo machines, weight room, stretching room, racquetball, basketball, full locker rooms, saunas, and multi-use areas. I've never seen it get too packed, even in the evenings, and always get a machine when I go. Good staff. Bring a military ID though.

Just wish it was better organized. There is a cardio room, but cycling, rowing, stair, and other cardio machines are also on the basketball court. 3 weight rooms all have randomly placed weight equipment, and the stretching machines are upstairs from the weight room, but there are also some stretching machines and floor mats on the basketball court. Maybe a diagram in the lobby would help. Staff has always been really nice and helpful, and I appreciate the long hours and after-hours access.

Not sure what kind of culture you are trying to cultivate here. I’ve lived here for 2 years now and have frequented this gym as well as tripler and AMR on an every day basis. The experience at all of the gyms have been very pleasant and I am nothing but friendly and respectful of the others around me. For some reason Mike decided that one of the outfits I wear wasn’t allowed in the gym. No big deal I’ll just work out at other gyms that don’t mind what I wear and don’t really bother me unless it’s a friendly conversation. Mike lost his mind after I calmly and relative low volume replied “cool I’ll just keep working out at AMR” he then decided to rudely and loudly start insulting me at the front desk. Making disparaging comments about my looks, making disparaging comments about my character and saying he is a better person than me, and finishing it off with making implications that I was not educated enough to be able to read. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable behavior from an employee in an establishment meant to help people. The only resolution for this type of situation is termination of employment. If he is going to openly treat and talk to me in the manner he did how many others has this employee treated so poorly?

Military only gym. Staff is nice, facility is clean, ID is required, decent amount of equipment to include machine, free weights, kettlebells, yoga stuff, bikes and more. There are bathrooms and changing rooms. Lastly, there is a full court gym that is well maintained. Hours are posted but be warned that if there is a holiday hours change.

Best military gym currently. Doesn't have the strict guidelines like Pearl and Hickam. Additionally, you can register for 24 hour access. The basketball court has been converted to a machine weight room and their old racquetball court is now a bench / row room. Clean and organized.

Cost is awesome - free. Gym is a bit small, equipment a little old, and machines are packed pretty tight. Not usually too busy, so you can usually get in a good cardio and strength workout in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes people camp on one machine though, and you just have to do something else.

Top notch! 👍 very good staff. Friendly and helpful. This branch is clean and well maintained and managed. Small gym area, but this facility caters more to elderly group and children's programs.

Parking is terrible, often full in the morning. I signed up because they had child watch. this particular location just has the tv on during child watch while the caregiver uses her laptop and doesn’t seem to interact with my child. everybody that works there was very polite and friendly. Its just that I can work out at home for free while my kids is glued to the TV there. Also, I always have a parking spot at home.

Went here per recommendation from a friend of mine, since he told me that this gym has prime fitness equipment. And I just gotta say that. Wow this gym is amazing if you like that old school bodybuilding type vibe of gyms with amazing equipment(like prime for example), they also have a posing stage in the gym! look no further than this gym. Tina helped me with a day pass and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much again! I’m sad this isn’t my permanent gym. This gym makes me want to move to Hawaii just to call this place my home gym.

I never really saw any progress in my previous body building attempts. Turns out all I needed was the right environment and Iron Hawaiian Fitness provides just that. This is a seriously awesome place that I have a lot of fun working out at and really makes me excited to come to every day. I couldn’t recommend another gym more.

I like to check out local gyms while traveling for work. This gym is a gem. The equipment is top notch, ranging from prime equipment to other high end machines. The amount of equipment and variation enables you to choose which one best fits you. The vibe is old school with a modern touch of high end optimal equipment. Definitely visit this gym if you are looking for gains while traveling. You will not be disappointed.

My personal favorite gym on the island. Month to month at the same price point that all these other gyms have 1-2 year contracts at. Never too crowded. There is a lot of experienced lifters here always willing to give advice and a spot. Marc the owner is there almost every day... it’s nice to see him always looking out for his gym and his customers. Thank you IHF!

Me and my sister came to Oahu on vacation, and since we’re both avid gym goers, we looked for a gym to go to for the week. We stumbled upon Iron Hawaiian Fitness through a simple google search and I truly can’t recommend another gym on Oahu. The owner Marc is a stand up guy, very respectful, and really shows that he cares about his gym and the people that workout there. Although it’s not the biggest gym, the equipment there is high level and Marc uses his limited space efficiently therefore I didn’t have one complaint. If you’re looking for a old school vibe, and tight-knit type of gym, this is the place to go. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Been attending since June. First time in over a decade I’ve felt functionally fit. That’s a result of the superb coaching. The environment is energetic, motivating, and friendly. True community here. Exercises are scaled to your needs, especially if you’re just starting out. Highly recommend!!!

In today’s afternoon MoFit class, I appreciate Coach Carlin made the effort to stop by and observe and critique the form of each athlete even though the class was close to full capacity (he helped me with my clean+jerk stance). He also made class adjustments to stay on time. He was very supportive during the workout rooting everyone on. He is always engaged as a coach and cares about his athlete’s performance and health.

Picture perfect gym/box. I appreciate the fair payment structure since I’m only visiting here for the week. Plenty of space to do a good workout. Has all the amenities like chalk, dip horns, plates in good condition, etc friendly staff as well! Looking forward to my next workout here!

I dropped by this cool mostly-outdoor space to squeeze in a workout while traveling (sticking to the program as much as possible!) and I’d visit again. They have all the equipment you’d expect of a CrossFit facility even if you’re not doing their WOD or CrossFit, which works well for anyone looking for barbells and open space. Their open gym hours overlap during their class times so it was cool to see what the class was doing (the CrossFit open workout that had just been streamed). Coach was welcoming and showed me where to find all the stuff. Masks weren’t required because the space was mostly open air (with a part roof/covering), though some people wore them. As far as parking it looks like some class members parked on the street nearby, though I took rideshare.

I highly recommend Parado Power for personal training, and to help you achieve your fitness/health goals. Blake, Jensen and Micah are great trainers during the sessions, and are also open to answering extra questions you may have. Their care and focus on supporting your progress is what makes the difference in the overall experience. I appreciate the “semi-private” approach and find it effective - personalized exercises with guidance, but more cost-effective than 1:1. It’s a friendly and energized atmosphere in the gym, with all ages working out. I like seeing the families working out together 😄 Other comments: - Very clean space - I really appreciate this 🧼 - Nice view of trees outside 🌳 - Easy parking 🚗

I've lost 10lbs my first 10 wks! I feel stronger, more agile and flexible and can do some stretches I couldn't even do as a gymnast in high school. My body composition is definitely improving and my clothes fit better. I love everything about this gym. It's a great open space with a massive wall of windows that brings in lots of fresh air and natural light - I prefer outdoor activities so this makes me happy indoors. Blake Parado is a power lifter, and has put together a great program, vibe and business. He, Jensen and Micah are all real trainers. They keep me focused and working productively in a low key, fun way and with humor. We work all the major body areas every work-out, but they keep me and my body guessing by changing up the exercises each time. I am not naturally a work-out person, but they do a great job keeping me motivated. Blake has also coached me on a simple, practical nutrition plan I actually enjoy and that's working. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Review Update!! Parado Power is a great gym. I've been training here since 2021 and every workout is always a challenge. I'm constantly improving, getting better and stronger every time I complete a workout. I enjoy my workouts here because you never have to wait to use equipment (it's a private gym), the trainers set your equipment for you and tell you exactly what you need to do, and it's an overall friendly and non-judgemental place. I mostly do the personal training sessions but I've also done the group classes. The group classes are amazing. You get a great workout in these classes as well. If your schedule allows you to attend the group classes, I highly recommend them. The classes are smaller (12 people max) so you can improve and progress with some individual coaching and have enough space to be comfortable to workout. Parado Power is great for a beginner wanting to start their fitness journey or even someone who is experienced but wants to take the next step and do more challenging workouts. No matter what level of fitness, you will progress like you never thought you could. Don't wait any longer!! Start or continue your fitness journey at Parado Power! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parado Power is a GREAT GYM! Atmosphere: Spacious with lots of windows and fans to help with circulation. I feel that it is a friendly and non-judgmental gym with fellow gym goers being respectful, especially wearing masks properly throughout workouts. Blake, Keri, and the rest of the Parado Power staff are really nice and helpful. Cleanliness: One of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to. I've been to several private / smaller gyms and they seemed to be dirty and messy. Parado Power is the opposite - clean and neat! At the door, you take your temperature and wipe the bottom of your shoes. They have sanitizer and cleaning stations throughout the gym making cleaning easy for everyone. Owners Blake and Keri put in a lot of work to create a gym environment where the gym members / clients feel comfortable and safe, while still having fun. They are always on it and its clear to see how important their clients are to them. It is very much appreciated!! Equipment: Mostly free weights with lots of variety! You will not be bored. The equipment is in great shape and is constantly being cleaned. Parking: Lots of parking! They validate for the first 90 minutes. Workouts: Challenging & fun. If you sign up for group classes, every single class is different which is great and it's always stimulating. If you sign up for the semi personal training sessions, prepare to become much stronger than you ever were. For both programs, whatever level of fitness you are, Blake will help you improve and become a better you. Other: Scheduling your classes / sessions are very easy because of the Parado Power app. There's a chilled filtered water filing station to quench your thirst. TLDR: Parado Power is an amazing gym run by people who care that provide challenging workouts. Try it out soon because the only workout you'll regret is the one you didn't do (at Parado Power)!

These are all great trainers regardless of where you’re starting from. People of all ages and body types work out here. Blake brings great energy and checks on you throughout your progress. I mostly worked with Jensen who I can’t say enough good things about. He knows how to push you in a way that leaves you feeling empowered not grumpy lol. I highly recommend this gym especially if you’re not sure you feel ready. They’ll get you out of that funk.

I have been attending classes and personal training for over 4 years and enjoy it so much! The gym so convenient, clean, has awesome equipment and the trainers Blake, Jensen and Micah are knowledgeable and excellent at what they do! Make you WOD! Classes are never the same and incorporates strength and cardio…you will not be disappointed. The app to book class is so easy to use as well. Come on over and join the Parado Ohana!
