The staff keeps the facilities clean and organized, the machines are fully functional 98% of the time and it never seems to be too packed to get in a good work-out. The only things I would change are: 1) This location doesn't have a sauna while the other two do. 2) This location doesn't have a pool. 3) The parking lot is shared with a beauty school and tends to be a little busy at certain times of day.

Cool vibes, Lexi was great and as helpful as possible. On the down sideJust signed up... and already I'm having trouble logging in or downloading the app. Apparently it's an ongoing problem. Not the best first day at this gym. Glad it's months to month. Would appreciate a follow up

It’s fine. Can’t rate beyond that. Still prefer it over GB3. Still not happy that I was charged for 4 months of personal training and received 0 sessions for the last 2 months I was charged. Even after I was assured it was taken care of by Avery. I like the facilities but the personal training is a scam.

Great gym, lots of good equipment and a good free weight section. I dropped in while on the road and I was surprised at the low fee. I called ahead and spoke with a man named Dee, he was very nice on the phone, patient and very helpful. He remembered me when I arrived and that was pretty cool. Overall awesome place and staff.

The gym is great. But the elliptical machines on the 2nd floor need better maintenance. Most of the reception people are nice and cordial.

Been going to this gym for 5yrs now. I went o plnet fitness and surprisingly their machines are way more smoother and easier on the joints. I like this gb3 branch but they need to add more machine.. The seniors here are rude, they would tell u to move if they want to use the equipment, I hope they add more equipments..

I've had a membership here for almost 20 years. One of the best gyms in the Central Valley area. Hands down. But yesterday I was at the gym and 80% of the bicep equipment was out of service. Due to replacement of padding mainly one machine was just Frozen. I believe 8 out of 10 were not working. There were no other equipment that was being repaired. Does the person that does the repairs not work out at all? How is anybody to do a bicep workout if they mainly use the machines when they're all down? It's been at least 2 days now. I know that you guys read these reviews and I wanted to make sure that they understand that doing all the equipment for one muscle group is not really a good thing to do at a gym. At least in my personal opinion.

Great gym, I've been going to the Herndon and pain GB3 for several years now. The facility is always immaculate, the staff take a lot of price in making the place spotless, even vacuuming while you're working out, lol, I appreciate the attention to detail. Very supportive management team and staff is really nice and friendly. There's tons of equipment for every type of workout you want to do, boxing bags , pool, sauna , steam room, this location has it all , right behind the gym there is a hidden trail you should definitely check out 😎

I wanted to love this place. However, there was some things that rubbed me the wrong way. So I decided to take my business else where. My daughter is 5 years old. She was in gymnastics and wanted to try ballet. A family member recommended Dance Studio of Fresno. I googled searched and most reviews were 5 stars. Awesome! Let’s give it a try. This was during Covid so the parents were not allowed to go in the building and watch. I would wait in my car the full hour. Right away I noticed when class was over the kids were just dismissed. No teachers waiting with the kids. No one checking to make sure the kids parents were there. Just letting the kids cross the small, packed parking lot by themselves. Mind you my daughter is 5. I was always there but I didn’t like the idea of a child waiting by their little self. Moving on.. so there are recitals. My daughter is very shy and still fairly new compared to the other girls. She wanted more time to get it down and grow. We decided not this year, maybe next. But in the meantime she wanted to continue to dance. The recital is optional. The staff reassured me she can continue to dance and will not feel left out in any way (which was my biggest concern). Now that Covid restrictions are lifted we (parents) can watch. I saw My daughter and the few others that were not attending the recital were definitely left out. The girls that were in the recital wore their fancy dresses, got all the attention and time from the teacher. I could see it in my daughters face she was hurt and wanted to burst out in tears. I took her out immediately. She will not be going there again. I get there’s a recital. I understand the girls got a beautiful dress. But I was told she would not feel left out in any way. If that’s the case they should make the recitals mandatory or have a separate class. Or just simply let the parents know the girls will be wearing dresses and your child may feel left out .. but you can purchase one. This is my experience and my feelings towards Dance Studio of Fresno. Disappointed on so many levels.

I had a lot of fun during my time in this dance studio however I decided that I won't be returning to it. I liked my class but there was a lot of problems that I had with them, they were really friendly towards me but I felt like the time I've been there I really didn't learn anything at all except for a couple new moves as I was in one of their hip hop classes. We spent majority of our time learning the choreography for the recital which I had no problem with but there was never any learning of foundation for hip hop and I really didn't improve much. As I was trying for one of their other classes, the teacher wasn't there to guide me and I had to seek help from another student. When recital came, I felt really uncomfortable with how they treated my class than others, it felt extremely unfair as if we were the problem. This place wasn't able to provide me a space for me to fully express myself as a dancer. Sad my experience here wasn't as great like others, I was really disappointed.

I go to this location now almost 7 days of the week. The staff is friendly and the site is kept clean. I enjoy the energy and have made a few new friends. I have even met a couple of pros who have given me some workout advice. 💪 I also enjoy running into George himself he is always kind and encouraging. I like that they always keep up with fixing downed equipment. Most things if needing repair are only down for a day at the most.

Great gym, equipment in excellent shape , friendly staff, busy pool. Wish they would not have the news channels on the TVs adds to stress . Surely sport would be more appropriate, really love the gym. But the news channels stress me out and they are positioned so they are unavoidable . The Olympics , tour de France , Wimbledon, etc is on this summer, last 3 weeks was the beautiful tour of Italy and all we saw was politics .

Love the gym but the benches seriously need to be replaced in the sauna. Naked sharp screws stick out and up to cause some possible burns, punctures or snagging on clothes. And pieces of wood sticking up for same possibilities.

I joined this gym for a few months but switched back to Fort Washington. The locker room of Iron Office is almost always dirty with trash laying around and a layer of filth on every surface. Several of the electrical outlets have completely exposed wires. It's impossible to contact the staff for anything. It's really shocking that they charge as much as they do when other gyms are cheaper, cleaner, offer towels, and have staff members available.

The best gym, ever! From the owners to the trainers to the clients, everyone has created this amazing gym culture there that makes everyone feel welcome! Whether you are a powerlifter or body builder or just started your journey, this place is for you. The community is great! I am a veteran, so I'm proud to be part of this veteran owned gym! If you haven't tried it come check it out once you come in you won't want to leave and now we are getting a second location as well so I'm excited to see how this community grows! Keep up the good work!!! Member since 2022!

This gym is the real deal that's open 24 hours. More iron than you will find at any other pansy posing parlor. Super clean. Buy your membership online (mine was for 6 days). They have an app that you'll need to download and use to open the door connecting your phone to the Bluetooth device to the left of the door (I checked that in red on the photo).

The lack of maintenance is disappointing especially in the bathroom. A large chunk of the equipment is torn up or has spare parts laying next to them making you question if it’s safe to use or not. Step up for how much people are paying to exercise here. Just because it has a big reputation in Fresno doesn’t mean it’s nice, looks like a gym basement. Staff wasn’t the nicest either dude could not care less

It truly pains me to leave this review, as this gym holds so much potential and is one of the few that can compete with larger chains like GB3 in Fresno. The ambiance is inviting, and the community of members is fantastic. However, there are some critical issues that cannot be overlooked. First, if you’re a woman who works out, I strongly advise changing at home. The gym employs a male staff member who cleans the women’s locker room, often entering without prior notice. I’ve raised this concern with the management, and while they assured me it would be addressed, yet he still does it. Second, the staff exude an air of superiority and are remarkably unhelpful when it comes to resolving membership concerns or issues with the app. Their preferred mode of communication is email, yet responses can take a week—unacceptable for any business, let alone one trying to expand. Speaking of expansion, while the new location is a welcome addition, perhaps it would be wise to first address the existing shortcomings and prioritize your loyal members before branching out.

They have an indoor heated pool, year-round. Unfortunately, not all of the swim teachers are good. So for 10-11 classes you might throw away close to $600 if you don’t choose your instructor correctly.

Traversing my way around with a guide cane, an adaptive technology device, four acute senses, and ballsy adventuring blunders -- Here I am frequenting Break the Barriers on a weekly basis. S T A F F: Cheerful, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the programs that are being offered at the BTB facility. The staff are very professional and also really down to earth too. S E R V I C E S: Aside from the archery program, I've yet to check out their other programs, but looking forward to checking out their aquatics program when the weather warms up a bit. Right now its about to be December...and its frigidly cold! E X P E R I E N C E: I recently joined the competitive Break the Barriers Archery Team. I used to shoot archery when I was able-bodied, yet I had to overcome some life-changing hurdles to relearn my beloved sport of archery after a freak-occupational accident that caused severe vision loss. Through archery coaching and adaptive archery services at Break the Barriers, I am able to enjoy this sport again. (WOOHOO!!!) Overall, I have enjoyed the camaraderie that I've received from both my challenged athlete and able-bodied teammates. Everyone from the BTB archery program, staff and participants have been very respectful, supportive, and sometimes hilarious. It's nice to feel like I'm a part of something where "disability" divides us apart.

I signed up hip hop class for my twins. There were around 6 kids in the class. 4 of them are abnormal, 1 handicapped, 1 has ADHD, 1 Down syndrome and the last one doesn’t talk. I wanted to withdraw them from the class because they teach so slow and my kids get bored. If you have normal children and want to learn, don’t take them here. They don’t give refund for dance classes. I’ll just stop bringing them to class.

I will be joining back this organization is great ! The staff for classes are great speaking for swimming and ballet loved it ,, what I hate and it happened again is that when I went w to inquire about classes for my daughter the older front desk was not helpful at all and when I told her I was with FUSD grant program she changed her demeanor told me there's no classes I had to get the flyers on the side look and find a class and practically tell them there is a clas and I want my duaghter to join. Then I talked to the owner she was very nice told me her story met her son very nice people,, but this year,, again I tried enrolling another child and again very rude told her I wanted to see if there's classes shut me down interrupted me talking said I need to tell my worker to send a referral I kept asking the Email she said they have all that she know my info. That she needs to see what the worker willing to pay for first before she tells me what class . I told her the worker said to just call to see if there's any open so we can pay for it. She wouldn't let me finish in that to her she just said no that's now how it works . Very rude.

I have been bringing my daughter to The Little Gym Fresno since she was 10 months old. She was a 'late' crawler and walker (crawled at 12 months, walked around 17/18 months). But I fully believe The Little Gym and the amazing teachers like Miss Chloee have helped her with her physical development and her confidence in risk-taking. She completely trusts Miss Chloee and is always willing to try new things with her. I recommend anyone and everyone I know to bring their child here.

New Era (Olympus) has literally become my 2nd family! I joined back in 2017 not knowing a thing about CrossFit and was extremely intimidated. But, staying consistent and being around the community and coaches, I've watched myself grow and get stronger overtime. I am extremely grateful for the community itself. I've never met such welcoming people who are so supportive like the folks from New Era (Olympus)! Truly blessed to know every single person I've gotten to know! The energy and vibe is so positive and has helped me through rough times. NO CAP! Please sign up and join and start your fitness journey with New Era (Olympus)! The new location is OFF THE CHAIN and ultimately, you'll have so much fun working out here! I tip my hat off to Dustin C. and Erik L. who are so inspiring to me, to say the least! It's a privilege to be under their leadership and guidance. Also, Coach Mike, Katie, Ashton, Jenna, Tilly, Trent you guys are SO AMAZING! Literally the list goes on! Thank you for helping me and working with me and just being the kind of people that you are! Shout out to my cuddy Zeus too! (Dustin's dog) I see you champ lol I have absolutely no regrets!!! I started on this journey in the beginning of 2020. I looked into a few CrossFit gyms around Fresno and I saw that this one had an honorary gym dog named Zeus. I knew this place was for me. I have done regular gyms, UFC gym, and Muay Thai classes in the past but was curious about CrossFit. I called and talk to Dustin who got me all set up with “on-ramp” classes which teach you all the basics of Olympic weightlifting and the main movements we would be doing in classes. This helped me feel not so intimidated by joining a new gym. It was easy to tell in the first few sessions that this gym is a family. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful. No one makes you feel stupid of judges you. I work really well with structured classes so this place has been great for me. Over the past 2 years I have gained a new family and of course gains! 💪 #Cakes

I visited cyclebar a couple of weeks ago. the class was good. As I was leaving, an employee asked me if I would like to schedule another class. I said yes and they scheduled me for class the next weekend. Due to a scheduling conflict I cancelled the class the very same day, actually about two hours after I made the appointment. They refused to refund my $25 stating that I had not cancelled the class during 12-hour window that Cyclebar requires. I emailed them proof of the cancellation which included the email they sent me directly after I canceled the the class. it clearly showed the date and time of day I had cancelled but they still would not refund my money. That is terrible customer service in my opinion and I will never return to cyclebar.

I love it here! The instructors are awesome. The vibe is always on point. The bikes are newer. I have never walked out of a class feeling like I didn’t get a good workout in. If you’re on the fence about going in because you don’t feel like you’re fit enough or feel like you’ll look stupid, don’t worry about that here. The regulars are all non-judge mental, someone is always willing to help you get the bike set up or get clipped in.

Cyclebar is great for a number of reasons. First, I really like how welcoming the instructors are and how positive everyone. I was really nervous to come in and felt at ease right away. If you do not know how to clip in or adjust your bike, there are people who are ready to walk you through how to do it and they are always calm and smiling. I also really like the lighting during the cycle sessions because it is another thing that makes you feel comfortable. You're not under glaring lights with everybody looking at you, it's almost like you're by yourself with your instructor. So far, with every session, I've always had an arm workout which I didn't know was something that I would be doing. This is GREAT because it gives you a tiny break from the cycling and you get an arm workout-- so I really enjoy that part. There are different classes to choose from and each instructor adds their different flair to their classes. I have enjoyed all of the instructors and really like that I get a different style of workout. I would say the only thing that I'm not totally in love with is the pricing, it is a tad pricey but there are packages you can purchase that help with the price burden. Because of the health benefits and how comfortable I am here, I will continue to come. I just wish it was a tad bit less expensive.

The before and after pictures speak for themselves. What you don’t know, is my amazing experience at The Camp Transformation Center -Fresno. The Trainers, (everyday) are so uplifting, positive, fun and encouraging. As soon as I walk through the door I embrace their motivational presence/spirit. Their classes are so lively! The whole place is lively! It’s way better than any video routine over the internet!! These classes are a one size fits all. The classes are set up to meet you, where your at, beginner or long time member, you will lose weight, gain self motivation instantly, grow inner self confidence, I know because I experience all of this. I came out of my challenge with better eating habits, a consistent workout routine, (my me time), a more positive productive workday and calmer less stressful interactions as I navigate my day. I feel amazing! Inside and out. The structure of the whole program has assisted me in eating healthy, smaller portions, cutting sugar, lowering my A1C levels, lowering my stress levels, increasing my exercise, uplifted my whole day, my whole person. I’ve even set goals for walking/running on the treadmill. Going to class, discovering that I am able to all of these exercises have made for a lot of proud moments for myself. Thank you to The Camp Transformation Center-Fresno!!! Thank you. Now that I’ve lost 23.5lbs I’m off to the next challenge they offer. See you at 4:45am for class tomorrow!

My friend recommended I check out the camp she just couldn't stop talking about how great it was. I called and they allow for you to attend 1 class for free. I attend my free class on full body day. I learned a lot after just one class. I realized how much i had really neglected my body. The workout was hard but felt so good about myself after taking the class and I knew i had to stick with it. I challenged myself to improve my over all condition. I was sad to see i couldn't do a sit up, push up etc... I'm Definitely proud of my progress. I couldn't have done it if not for all the support from The Camp!! All the trainer are amazing! Shout out to Rhonda who has been amazing help through this life changing journey. Definitely come try out the camp its a super friendly environment I made some really great workout friend's. It really is one big family at the camp.

We were recommended by some friends to join The Camp Transformation. At first we were a little nervous because it was our first time joining a camp. This was our first 6 week challenge it was hard at first because we had to change our eating habits. The cardio the first week was hard , but we knew we had to completes the challenge. The staff and the trainers were great. They helped us with any questions we had regarding our meals preps and exercises. I really saw the end results when we completed the challenge and how fit and healthy we are now. Thank you to The Camp Transformation we will definitely be recommending the location to our friends and family.

Well Folks, The difference goes well beyond what you see on the outside. The all around feeling of lite and capable is the best way I can describe it. From how our diet made us feel to what our bodies are capable of. Being able to just get up and do things without feeling like a slug is the best of all. If you haven’t begun to already, start working out or at least eat healthier, it’s the best thing I ever did. We were able to see this challenge through and feel grrrrreaaaat!!! The Camp Transformation Center from top to bottom is the place you want to be to make that critical life change, whether its to get out of bad eating habits or to start working out and just can’t find the motivation. It only takes one step and that’s signing up. The Camp from there will set the stage for you, motivate you, and that is where the transformation starts. The environment is judgement free because you go at your own pace. You’ll find yourself pushing your own limits. Maybe even get a little competitive with all of the friendly people there. It is a fun friendly environment that keeps you motivated, especially with the upbeat move your body music that’s played with every workout. The workouts are thoughtfully planned out targeting all the muscles in your body, even some you never felt before lol. It is the best place to get out of your comfort zone and realize what your potential really is. You will feel a little beat up at first, but trust in the process and you will feel amazing in the end. Trust me. I was able to finish a 6 week challenge with ease and I’m still coming back for more. I love this place because I love what I was able to accomplish here.
