Dirty, would not shower there. Dispenser liquids for cleaning equipment always not filled. Been over a week now that disinfecting liquid is not available. When machines need maintenance, sometimes it take 2+ months. Staff sits there on their phones all day long. They should be helping to make it a better experience.

No pool, but advertise as having. No intention of bringing back. Show up, closed. No reason. Frustrating. Bikes snd treadmills generally good working order. Strength facilities above average.

Kevin has been the best manager L.A.Fitness has had in a long time. He did the very best he could with the resources given to him by corporate. Now that he is leaving I hope that standard can be met by the new manager.

I needed a place to get a last minute workout as I was passing through town on my way from MN to the USAT National competition in Atlantic City. The staff was super friendly, the Keiser bikes were perfect for spinning my legs out after a long drive and the treadmills offered great practice for a quick transition run! Thank you LA Fitness! Your facility was terrific!

I had a good workout until the end I went to take a shower as I was pumping out the soap and washing under my armpits. I realized somebody had put a dirty Band-Aid inside of your soap dispensers not only my discussed it but I fear what could come of it. There are too many things in this world going around. I highly suggest possibly getting locks for your soap dispensers because clearly one of your members is disgusting and decided that it would be a good idea to put their Band-Aid in the soap. I reported it to the front desk and let them know before they closed up so that this issue can be addressed. I’ll be back in a couple days. I’ll let you know if it’s been fixed.

The Bad: - Too Expensive - 30% increase in 2 years (from $99/mo to $129/mo). I will probably leave soon due to the price, which is a shame because I would rather not. If it increases more I will definitely leave. - Classes do not run late enough. I guess this may be particular to me, but I would imagine other people are in a similar situation. By the time my wife get home to watch my child I find it very hard to get there for a 6pm or even 7pm class. - Food is extremely limited for vegans and those with similar dietary restrictions. I find this odd for a place that is supposed to have very healthy food. There are pre-packaged snacks and a few shakes, but not much at all in the way of hot or prepared food. - I have outdoor pool access even though I rarely use it. I don't like being stopped every time I use the pool. If that is because they charge even more for the pool then that is insane. The Good: - Hours are pretty good; used to be even better when membership was less expensive. - Classes are decent; not amazing. - Hot tub/sauna, etc. - Nice bathrooms - Pretty good equipment options - They sometimes add nice options like the recovery sleeves for your legs.

Had an amazing time at Lifetime today. I would definitely recommend. The ambiance, amenities and services are astounding and amazing. Indoor and outdoor pool, spa, cafe, sauna, etc.

This place likes to pass themselves off as high-end and fancy. God knows their prices reflect that perception. I decided to schedule a massage for my birthday on their site with a specific masseur I’ve used in the past. I had to choose the masseur and then an available time. My reservation was accepted and confirmed. Fast forward to my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early, go through their front desk check-in, then proceed to the spa. I give my name and tell the receptionist I have a 3PM with Ron. She asks me if I’m new and I informed her I’ve had massages with Ron in the past. She then proceeds to tell me their scheduling system messed up and I was assigned to another massage therapist. I asked how this happened since I needed to choose the therapist before seeing their schedule. She rambled on about colors in the system and said she’s sure I did it correctly because I’m not the first person to whom this occurred. She then tried to offer me a “major discount” if I accepted the reservation with the assigned therapist. I flat out rejected it. Then she tried to rebook me with Ron but he had nothing available which worked for me. I told her to cancel the appointment and left. Her apologies were hollow and ineffective. For the prices Life Time charges, you’d think they’d address reservation system issues to avoid these situations. I had to laugh at their cancellation policy of 50% of the service charge if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment. What happens when Life Time screws up my appointment and I can’t get the service I booked? Is there a 50% discount on my next booking (if I ever book another with them). This place needs to get their act together and resolve their issues.

We popped in to take a tour. Apparently you need an appt?! The guy behind the desk was way too cool to be bothered. The female was nice. She tired to help but was useless. They said everything is on the website but that sucks too. They literally lost 2 members because we probably would have signed up. Funny thing is they don't really care. Sticking with the YMCA in ambler. They're nice there and everyone is quite chill. No frills but I don't need them. Just a sauna and equipment. Glad my introduction to lifetime was a turn-off. Saved me from dropping money on a place where their customers dont matter. Not worth the price tag from the get.

Place is over-booked and too crowded. Especially the pool where retired swimmers, US olympics, groups or enthusiasts are occupying lanes literally for hours, making regular recreational customers wait... wait.... wait... and pissed off. No one cares. Started "repairs" are also gimmicky and fake. re-grouped treadmills from one side to another.... 2 weeks passed - nothing happened. Good business model... Unfortunately, no decent competitors to allow customers to switch to

If you're over 40 and looking for semi-private to private personal training, you will not find a gym more amazing than this. I feel incredibly lucky to have a place this special so close to me. John and JP will change your life. Try a class and you'll see what I mean.

I have ben exercising regularly for 30+ years before meeting John. Something was missing and then I saw John training another client in our gym- it was his last day by the way. Movement was what was missing! So, I immediately started training with John- 6 years ago- and at 72 I feel better then I ever have. John’s training has drastically improved my strength, balance and flexibility. John really knows the BODY and has tailored my training to meet changing needs- shoulder injury/surgery, knee injury/surgery, etc., etc. If you are serious about improving your health and physicality- join Bair Knuckle Strength. YOU won’t regret it.

I started training with John at Bair Knuckle Strength in order to prepare for my sfg kettlebell cert. I came in for a free trial and was blown away by the amount of detailed, practical instruction John gave me to improve my swing. I've been training for a couple months now and I'm really happy with the improvements I've seen. John has been able to spot what I need to work on and help me focus on improving these areas while also increasing my general strength and technical proficiency with all of the required lifts for the sfg. There is also the added benefit of learning how to teach and cue the exercises. I am a personal trainer myself, and each session with John is not only a workout but also a clinic in how to effectively communicate the mechanics of the techniques we're practicing, as well as how to structure each session so it ties into my long term goals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend training here regardless of your goals or current fitness level. You will feel welcome from the very first session, and you will not only see the results you want but develop an in depth understanding of how and why you're seeing them.

A Dr. had brought me in to introduce me to Bair Knuckles. I could not get through a day without pain in my back and neck because iIt was interfering with my daily activities. After realizing doing "Nothing" was not improving my pain, I decided to give it a try. John evaluated my pain and movements and within 3 month of staying loyal to the routine and the personalized attention to my workout, I was amazingly getting better. Having the classes small enough to be viewed as to how I was working out was a big factor in not slipping incorrectly into my routine. I now am able to return into a pain free lifestyle. Don't be intimidated or scared that this is not for you....it is individualized & paced according to your needs and condition. The people and friends in the classes are all their for a reason...get better and strengthen the areas that are causing their pain! There is no reason to settle for chronic pain!

Swing with the BEST! I met John Bair in January of 2014 and started training with him in February. He makes sure from the very start that you are educated about the benefits of using kettlebells and that you are medically, mentally, nutritionally as well as physically prepared to make the commitment to get the best results out of his workout program. Each session with him is tailored to fit your individual needs and physical capabilities. He has the expert knowledge to train you in the proper usage of kettlebells and he has an extreme passion for the benefits of using them. He uses them to put himself in exceptional shape and wants each one of his clients to achieve the same results from his training. John is very patient with his clients, he works with you step by step to help you succeed. He is enthusiastic, has a great positive attitude and personality, is encouraging and he takes great satisfaction in helping you succeed well beyond your own expectations. You will see your body change in positive ways, you will be stronger, you will feel and look better, your friends and family will notice the difference in your shape and attitude and you will most definitely, look forward to your next session with John.
