The staff are friendly and helpful, and the programming is great. We've done swimming lessons, dance, tumbling, aerobics, and we've been on the swim team for 8 years. I love how our Y is always reaching out to serve the community with programming and resources.

The bad: older and smaller facility than other Ys nearby, small variety of classes, small lap pool is not very exciting for family swim, doesn't open early enough for a workout before work, and child watch hours are much fewer than other branches. The good: The staff! Mr. Greg and pretty much all of the staff are fabulous human beings. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Coach Keri who does gymnastics is great with the kids, and this branch has more equipment for her classes compared to other branches.

Been coming here for about a month and half so far. Mr. Jazz🎷🎺🎵is so phenomenal 💫with the kids. His big brother Jalil if spelled right is the same way.💗 Ms Stephanie is awesome "theater teacher"🎭🎥 Gymnastics 🤸🏾♀️Karate and 🏺Clay big thumbs👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾up I think it's cool the supervisor Malcolm and Joshua actually gets out their and play basketball🏀 with the kids. You can tell they give the kids motivation.💪🏿 How cute. Seeing the kids run behind them make you feel like a kid yourself. 💗💓💞💕 I see the same two lil boys in the gym room everytime I come there. The Holloween Party 🧟♀️🧌was amazing didnt get to ask who did the decoration but yes!!!! They was beautifully done🫠😉😊💗

We take so many different classes here and go to events here it is fantastic. The staff is very accommodating to younger kids and it looks like the older people also have a blast. I love how affordable it is and how the staff really gets to no the person that is in the class instead of just a name. You’ll see Stephanie all the time and she is amazing! There are several contract workers that do fantastic work as well. We really enjoy the art classes and the preschool drama is hysterical!!!

I did not give 5 stars because we weren't greeted at all upon entering the building, but when we got to the people giving the shots, that were very polite. I've visited this park many, many times. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and the park is pretty huge!! Has a nice playground area, and further into the park is a fountain, and there are a couple shelter houses for outside parties and gatherings! Today I visited this recreation building because they were offering Covid-19 Vaccines, FREE OF CHARGE! & everyone that went today also received a $100 (Visa) rewards card for getting the shot!

I love the services Columbus Rec Centers provide to our neighborhoods. I visited the Holton location to play pickleball, the downside is they have yellow lines on a yellow floor with dim lighting. When we finished it was a little tense walking to my car in the dark.

Well was super helpful and help me get my baby enrolled into the program. They offer a summer program for the kids that's completely free no charge. Which is amazing because stuff is tight right now. It's super good to keep the kids involved and positive things while I'm at work during the summer. So thankful for the service

Nate is a very knowledgeable trainer who will easily tailor a workout to suit your current goals and abilities. Don't let the size of the place fool you; though it seems small, there is an abundance of equipment and weights to make each workout a unique experience. Unlike a larger gym with countless cardio machines, you come to JST to challenge yourself and workout in a small group setting in which you receive more one-on-one attention. I have used other big-name gyms in the past, but I keep coming back to Nate because the quality of my workouts is immeasurably better than anything else.

Nate's gym is awesome. He focuses a lot of his workouts on core strength. I am a dentist in town and I used to have major lower back pain and I have had no spasms or strains since I started with him 2 years ago. My posture is getting better too because of the workouts. My wife and I moved further away but we still go regularly just because it's almost necessary now. I would highly recommend jackhammer strength to anyone interested.

I have been a member at Jackhammer for almost a year and have experienced great results! If you are committed to improving your fitness and having the opportunity to try out new workouts, this is the gym for you and you will see results within the first few weeks. The close knit environment of the gym and the personal attention that you receive is something that you cannot receive from any other gym around, while still getting a great value for your money. There are 5 classes daily with flexible times in the morning and the evening. I would highly recommend trying out a boot camp session at Jackhammer to experience a different kind of workout. Workouts are easily modified to fit anyone and everyone needs in the class. Tell Nate that Lauren sent you :)

Terrible service! Coming from another business owner service is very important an employee was proceeding to purchase a day pass for me and buddy and a manager named John walks up saying are you a member and here to play basketball ? My buddy replied no we are not member and yes indeed want to play basketball and he proceeded to say we have to have a membership to play basketball. You guys need to stick to a policy let people use the full facility if they are able to enter the facility then a manager in charge of a whole crew and facility laughing and rubbing in our face that we can’t play basketball we drove 30 minutes to play.

I tried it out today. The pool is very spacious and clean. The hot tub is very relaxing! Looks like this will be how I get my laps in during the colder months. Equipment looks nice and Christopher is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only tiny complaint I have is the chlorine level is very high in the hot tub, which burned my nose some. Otherwise everything was great. I was nervous to come at first because of some of the reviews. But thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely become a member :)

The east Esporta is a very nice facility. The pool shower n restroom area need continuous ALL day attention bcuz some members are just sloppy messy, nasty and don't care as CARELESS MEMBERS leave wads of hair and trash in showers, restroom n pool areas. Other than that the workers are nice and Esporta is a nice facility.

(All photos taken in one visit) The amenities are nice, but they come at the price of trash on the floors, sanitizer and paper towels consistently out of stock. The patrons hog the sanitizer bottles and only clean the machines prior to use. During mid day its a pretty open gym, which is ideal for me. I hate waiting for machines. But i do wish the staff would be more active in the gym. If they cleaned the machines routinely and stepped in when people are super setting, this gym would be 5 stars...sadly i dont think that will happen.

I get what I pay for. For an $11 monthly basic membership (I joined in early 2021), I have access to free weights, some cardio and pulley machines and an open field to do cartwheels if I wanted (joking). I concur that the place could be cleaner and broken machines could be fixed sooner (or at least have signage to prevent potential customer injury). I have pinpointed my working go-to machines and equipment at this point and go early or at low occupation times for uninterrupted access. I also bring my own Clorox wipes just in case supplies are out at the sanitation stations. I’m just glad this place is still open and survived the pandemic. The staff I’ve encountered have been friendly - front desk, even a man whom I believe is the maintenance person in the morning.

I joined just a few months ago but my experience so far has been absolutely amazing. Their approach to fitness tracking heart rate and splats is genius. You get a good mix of everything. I love the idea of being able to see real time my progress and endurance shift over time in the app. While I've made an effort to attend a variety of classes LCs classes stand out far beyond the rest. I love all the instructors don't get me wrong but LC stays engaged and motivates everyone consistently. She even noticed I had a gait issue without me mentioning it and referred me where to go to get better running shoes. Her music matches the workouts PERFECTLY. You can tell she was meant to be a coach as she is amazing. Ash and Richs classes are my second favorite as they are equally as engaged with great music and motivation techniques. Thanks OTF for helping on my road back to being a healthier me- not only physically but mentally! The coaches I mentioned above remind me of my true strengths when I feel crappy and motivate me to keep going. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for this location. Thanks so much! Updated 12/5/24: im still a member and enjoying my progress! Courtney is one of my new favs and her Playlist are always fire! Thanks OT!

I cannot recommend Lifetime Fitness Easton enough, and I’m especially thrilled to give a huge shoutout to my trainer, Trae Barbley. Joining this gym has been a game-changer for me, and Trae’s expertise and dedication have dramatically transformed my fitness journey. From day one, Trae took the time to understand my goals, assess my fitness level, and craft a personalized plan that was both challenging and achievable. His approach is not just about pushing you to your limits but also about educating and empowering you to reach your full potential. His knowledge of fitness and nutrition is top-notch, and his motivational skills are second to none. What I appreciate most about Trae is his unwavering support and encouragement. He always brings a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm to every session, making each workout something I look forward to. His tailored workouts have not only improved my strength and endurance but also boosted my confidence and overall well-being. Lifetime Fitness Easton is a fantastic facility with state-of-the-art equipment and a welcoming environment, but it’s the exceptional trainers like Trae that truly make it stand out. If you’re looking for a trainer who will inspire you, push you, and help you achieve remarkable results, Trae Barbley is your go-to person. Thank you, Trae, for your incredible support and for making my fitness journey both effective and enjoyable!

As a believer in Jesus, I previously devoted my life to the Christian ethic. I tried to be a good steward and make sound financial choices so that I would be able to help the widow and the orphan, bring justice to the oppressed, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, etc. After visiting Life Time, however, I am switching my life ethos to hedonism. I want to accumulate as much wealth as I can as fast as I can so that I can afford a membership here. I’ve been a habitual exercises for 20 years, but I have never seen a gym like this before. It was a wonderful experience. Well worth the 40 dollar day pass fee.

Overall great gym, excellent location, cheap rates, unlimited access to amenities, excellent staff, $20 for a membership. Ask for the black card. It allows you to get into any planet fitness gym. I gave it four stars because management currently needs to fix the showers up for repairs. It's hard enough finding a good place to get a great workout in there and being able to take a hot shower. Really think someone should request a maintenance order to fix the showers. Could only get 1 stall working there. Everything else is very well maintained and has excellent staff!

I like this place could be better and a little bit more cheaper since it really isn't teaching the kids anything more than they know. My daughter has came to 11 weeks of the same routine week in and week out. She just dosent seem happy here. She is a 1st year at 8 and i practice with her all the time. I just wish they actually help kids while having fun. This place really doesn't offer that. Hopefully this review can help this business become better.

Not a fan of this location. I cancelled my membership in 6/24 and I’m still being charged. I called to get this situation handled and I was told although I cancelled in June, got charged for June and now was charged for July that I cannot receive a refund. I expected to get charged in June but 6 weeks after I cancelled is ridiculous. So if you’re looking for a good clean gym, this is not the gym for you. The woman’s locker room smells like sewage, and even if you sign a paper saying you’ve cancelled services rest assured that you will be charged again. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else.

Updated: Great Gym! Service desk: negative! Everyone wants to feel safe and welcome when they work out so i am very very happy my membership was cancelled after this review! I scheduled an appointment for a private training session for this Sat not last week Saturday with the male manager. Attached is my flight details out of state. Every statement out of his mouth after saying I'll reschedule later is. I'm sorry you got it wrong! I'm sorry you want to change your private coach because you got it wrong. Good bye since you got it wrong. The lack of empathy was disgusting. Why he couldnt just say " its all good, lets reschedule. He continued to end every statement with 'You got it wrong'. So anger provoking. He had to keep stating that. When I called him to cancel. He said he was going to cancel my membership and my parents membership even though theirs is paid by their insurance and mine with my own money and they had absolutely NOTHING to do with this. (Here is how you know when someone is planning to hurt you) I said this has nothing to do with my parents but he said since both of us come here.He will be canceling both. Yes. He probably has the right to cancel my parents membership but you can see how deep he is trying to win over a dumb issue as who was write or wrong on a schedule. He literally told me if I don't stop arguing because we clearly disagreed, he would cancel both my parents and mine. Don't spend your hard end money where the management are disgusting. Update: my membership has been canceled. Let's see if my parents membership even though they were not involved. Update2: Today the Billy asked my father to stop using their gym. If a business owner is this vengeful & wants to extend his evil to your family not related to the issue, DO NOT spend your money here. I will follow up on this review. There are hundreds of gyms in the Columbus area. We have the means. They will not be missed!

Know how to balance high expectations and encouragement. Even at the youngest age group, the Step One coaches expect the kids to push themselves to get better with each practice. Using their well equipped facilities, team practices are focused and intentional. Coaches make sure to instruct each child based off their current ability, and send them home with homework. Competitively, they seem to be doing quite well when reviewing the different divisions. My daughter just completed her first competition and had a blast in the process. She had been put off by competitive teams in the past but really has come alive with Step One. Only improvement area I see is with communication. Seems disorganized at times, but still way ahead of any other sports organization I have been apart of.

This will be our family’s 3rd year at Step1. My children compete in the cheer and the dance program. Both programs phenomenal. My daughter has had so much growth in her tumbling, dance, and stunting. My son could not dance in any capacity and the coaches were patient and worked with him and then last year he competed on a team that only didn’t win 1st place at one competition only! The coaches are amazing. Private lessons with Coach Kyle has made my 7 year old a tumblkng beast, I highly recommend him for private lessons, although every coach there is great!

We have been with Step 1 Allstars going on 9 seasons. It is hands down a great gym! Our daughter is autistic and it was this staff who recognized she could do elite level after 1 year on their cheerabilities team. This past season, her team never got lower than 2nd place. All the coaches are certified with USASF and some work in local school districts. I trust all the coaches with my child, which is tough for any special needs parent to do. She has learned perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and social skills that have carried over into school & other activities.

An All Star cheer parent for the past 13 years, I was already aware of the many benefits of this type of program. But what sets Step 1 All Stars apart from the rest are their fabulous coaches. These coaches get to know each of their athlete and fully understand each of their unique needs. My youngest is a perfectionist and sets her goals high. The Step 1 coaches take that desire and factors in her personality and are able to bring balance to the sport that she loves so much. Step 1 coaches truly love each and every one of these athletes as their own. The Step 1 gym is our home away from home . . . We LOVE our second family!
