Best Gym near Carson, California

The atmosphere is excellent, with a friendly crowd that values personal space, a key benefit for me. The staff is always approachable and welcoming, contributing to a positive experience. The equipment and machinery have performed reliably, and the bathrooms are consistently well-maintained.

I have been to many Planet Fitness locations but this one is the best I have been to so far. I started coming here regularly during peak hours since last October and like any gym they have their off days too. However, I always see the team members moving around, ensuring supplies are refilled and they are always cleaning. On busy days, you see multiple team members ensuring operations run smoothly. They are also always very polite and friendly. I, unfortunately, changed jobs and can no longer come regularly to this location anymore. But, if you are thinking of joining this location, definitely do so. If you don't like big crowds, this location gets pretty empty from 8:00pm and onward. Friday's are the best days to get your workouts in.

I have been the PF member in this branch for about a year and seen many disgusting and unusual things here. out of 3 rolling tissues two of them are usually ran out of the paper or jammed in the roll. numerous times it happened that the machines are not cleaned for few days and I found gums, stains and dirt on them. the shower area is ALWAYS and ALWAYS dirty and absolutely antihygienic. there are always some socks or underwear around the trash bin in the change room or the trash bin is wet in and out. most of the times 3-4 out of 6 step machines are out of order or have an error massage and don't function. I don't recommend this branch for exercise and fitness.

I loved working out there. The employees were so nice and caring. I am from Ohio and it was like having an extended family there. I wasn't just a number they would greet me by name. I would encourage anyone to use this PF!

So as a "Black Card" I have traveled around extensively to MANY Planet Fitness locations (Grand Junction Colorado / The ✨️Best✨️yet) ... But this Location absolutely horrible ... black mold in the shower stalls, 1/2" - 1 1/2 of standing water in the changing room, due to clogged shower drains, ALL KINDS of body hair ... f'n gross !!! The Best part when I brought it up to "Staff" they told me it's up to the "cleaning crew" .... like 3 employees at the front desk and no one is willing to go mop up the floor ??? Maybe it will take a "slip -n- fall" lawsuit to make an impact on the customer safety let alone health. So if You do choose to use this facility, bring rain boots if ya plan to use the men's changing stalls in the shower room. It would be real nice to see a clean and healthy environment / customer care instead of "lip service"

Warm and comfortable use of the facilities. The staffs are very supportive and humble. They all tried to make the gym for the restive and relax area, even erratic sleeping in massage untilities are allowed. And also the circumstance of the gym are new and very clean.

Assistant Manager with red hair watch out with her she tries to act all hard. Your obviously going to see alot of different people so your obviously not going to know them even if your new, don't know who made you the Assistant Manager but the guy with long braided hair should be the Assistant Manager he's more friendly compare to you. One more thing too all the people complaining about high school kids being at the gym so what at least their at the gym instead of being in the streets getting killed or doing drugs they are safe at the gym doing work outs.

This Planet Fitness is a decent location: It has tons of Cardio equipment. I wish it had 4 Smith machine racks instead of 3. The Men's locker room is alright, could be better maintained. This particular location is nearly unusable from June 1-August 31, which is when PF allows young folks ages 14-19 to use a facility for free. That's a great initiative, the problem is that there's no support for these young folks. I go into the gym for a particular routine, while a lot of these young folks are simply horsing around, 5 people to a machine. Not only that, I've seen multiple young couples focused on public displays of affection: kissing and touching each other rather than working out. The staff at this location seem young as well, so no one walks around to enforce a level of decorum here. I've been to other Planet Fitness locations that tell folks they're taking too much time to do something or tell folks not to be so loud otherwise they'll be removed from the location. This location does not do that at all in my experience. This PF is not far from Banning High School, so beware during the summer as anytime after 3pm will be awful. I highly recommend going to a different location if you have a Black Card, and if you can only do the standard membership, good luck.

Great gym with friendly staff and patrons! Even when it's busy I can always use my favorite cardio devices, and the equipment - while a little dated - is much more effective and ergonomic than equivalent equipment at their newer sites. Minus one star due to restroom facility equipment being not so hot (sink sensors not working properly, etc.)

The man's restrooms are always very dirty out of the 3 showers,There's only one that works. So if you don't mind waiting on a line of people Goodluck.The showers have been like this for at least a month.

I found this gym on ClassPass. The class I went to was so fun and a great workout. I went at 5p on a Wednesday and it was packed. The coach, Javi, was motivating and kept us moving the entire time. The workout was tough, but doable. The women at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Great place to get in shape. I’ve been coming here for a few years. The trainers are awesome, encouraging, and care for your success. I love the atmosphere and feel the synergy between members.

My overall experience with the staff, trainers and the trainees was awesome. Everyone was very helpful, motivating and supportive. The trainers were awesome. I would truly recommend giving The Camp Transformation a try, you won't regret it, I promise! I lost 10 lbs on my 21 day cleanse!!!!

Today Feb 7,2024 I fought against all excuses and decided to go and start with this center. I arrived at 815 am to ask questions and get information. The Center was blocked with a chain and said Enter though the door. I proceed to the door and it was locked. As I was calling the number on door. A Lady opened and said " we are close, we are taking a break, there is no session now". She said come back at 9am 45 minutes later, I drove 35 min to get to the place and that was the welcome I received. Horrible customer service, horrible atmosphere.

I have been a member since 2019, loss weight, got pregnant, Rest, and now I'm here... I can't believe I'm reviewing The Camp transformation Center-Carson again since last year! As I expected the camp didn't disappoint me! Although a lot of changes, the good vibes still there! (I love my AFF Family). I signed up for the Members Only Challenge (MOC) since November 2023. I am so grateful for all the support I received from The Camp TC-Carson (KillaCarson), Our Camp Director Nise, Trainers, Staff and my AFF Family (You Guys are Amazing). Losing 43.4 pounds and counting) in 12 weeks has brought a positive transformation in my life, I feel more energized and motivated to continue my journey...

I loved this Park. We went to playoff last week(LA Galaxy) . The atmosphere before the match is unique. You can drink and they have toilets. The access was quick and easy.

Dignity Health Sports Park is an incredible venue. The atmosphere is electric, especially during L.A. Galaxy matches, with passionate fans and an unbeatable vibe. The stadium is well-kept, easy to navigate, and offers great views from any seat. Staff is friendly, and there’s a fantastic variety of food and drinks to enjoy while cheering on the Galaxy. Highly recommend for any soccer fan.

Very cool and underrated sports park. Came is for the International rugby seven tournament. Great seating and great options for food. We had a blast

I won tickets on the radio for this event and my boyfriend and I had a great experience!!! He loves Aguilas del America and was thrilled to go to the game! This is a cashless stadium, and we were ready with our card! But if you are not they have atms where you can deposit your cash and get a credit card for free! Even for the parking you need to pay with a card! The lines for the restrooms and for the beer and snacks were not long! Had a great time watching the LA Galaxy win, great crowd, lot's of music. Super loud! I really wish they had better parking directions, it took us almost 1 hour to park. Parking isn't far from the venue but parking was frustrating.

This place has amazing workouts, amazing coaches, you go at your own pace, managing weights you can lift. The music is great, it’s fun. I am NOT BORED! They work out different areas based on the day, core, general, upper body. You get a couple sessions free to try out. Come try us out. I WISH I knew about this place sooner.

FTF is none like any other gym its personal, caring and none other best results. Teach you how to eat etc just a game changer I've never had weight loss results as such and kept it off. I never thought I could lift a weight, burpees, running and much more I highly recommend FTF. Thanks to all the Coaches.

I had an amazing workout this morning with my friend. I burned a lot of calories. It was high intensity interval training with amazing coaches and great live music. I will definitely be back.

The coaches here are knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, respectful and motivational. My favorite aspect of this gym is the utilization of heart rate monitoring on a large screen that you can monitor while you workout and the coaches use it to push you or modify the exercise. All of the equipment is set up at the beginning of the workout to maximize your time and it is cleaned at the end of each session. The workouts are structured, but you are still able to start where you feel more comfortable to make the routine more manageable. Finally, one of the important things is outcomes. For the longest time I have been resistant to the onsite suggestions for various reasons. Now that I have been more open to the feedback, they have been incredibly supportive and have been very helpful with physical therapy exercises to help with minor aches and pains.

I absolutely loved my experience with FTF! The coaches are incredible—they genuinely care about you and push you to reach your full potential. I love this place and will definitely come back to visit whenever I get the chance.

KT always makes you feel welcomed and is always personable with you even if it’s your first time there! One of the first times I have felt as comfortable as I do in a gym/with a trainer. I was referred to KT multiple times before I finally build up the courage to book a session. I booked that session Oct. 2023 and the rest is history. If you are looking for a judge free gym this is the place to be at! I’ve been training with KT for a little over a year at first I just wanted something to help my mental health after losing my dad. KT is an amazing trainer with an equally amazing gym. She is super motivating, kind, and works with your level. The gym is clean, very organized, and the artwork is fantastic. The community built within the gym is also amazing and super welcoming. I will forever recommend KT and her gym.

If you are an athlete from the greater LA area, you must come to EXOS for all your injury rehabilitation and physical therapy needs. The staff at EXOS are welcoming, knowledgeable, and place your care and sport performance goals first.

Fun! Fun! Fun! That is what you will have working with Juancho as your personal trainer or if you're taking his Zumba class. Juancho has great energy and is very positive while helping you achieve your fitness goals. Juancho's Great!!
