My daughter has been going to Top Flight for about a month and she loves it. Coach Victoria is awesome, and so patient with the students. She keeps the students engaged and my daughter can't stop smiling through the entire class. This place is so much better than the other gymnastic places in Fremont.

Coach Carlos is the best! His patience and dedication are helping my daughter's interest in gymnastics. The facility itself is well equipped, clean and large enough to have multiple classes practice without getting into each other's space. Kelly, the manager is very pleasant and helpful with scheduling classes and answering questions. We tried classes at several other local gymnastics establishments before coming to Top Flight and we are happy that we did!

The receptionist lady at the front desk is extremely rude. Not renewing my daughter's gymnastics class here anymore. Nothing against the coaches. Stay away from this place.

Our 6 year old daughter has been going to Top Flight due 2 years now. All the coaches, from Blue Jays to Level 1 (Isabela) to currently Level 2 (Coach Carlos) have been great. Coach Carlos takes full interest, teaches right techniques, corrects when needed, and encourages practice at home. Our daughter looks forward to her gymnastics class. Kelly, the manager, is also very friendly to talk with for any questions.

This review is for the Ninja and Boys Gymnastics level 1 & 2 classes. Our son has been going to Top Flight for a couple of years now and, we couldn't be happier. The coaches are terrific! At first, he was enrolled in the ninja class with Coach Nick. Great-fun class and teacher. Perfect for kids with high energy! Then he asked to be a ninja on the parallel bars so we knew it was time to move him over to boys gymnastics. It has been an amazing experience! Coach Michael has been such a great influence on our son. Not only does he have many years of experience teaching, he is also a very caring person. He is the perfect combination of discipline, hard work, fun and kindness. My son adores his coach and, constantly talks about him at home. That's how big of an impact Coach Michael made on him! He makes him feel very comfortable, confident, and excited about gymnastics. In less than a year, he has become stronger, eager, and determined to learn more. We highly recommend those classes! Keep up the great work and keep making an impact on kids!

I have enrolled my daughter for gymnastics in Bay Aerial and she enjoyed a lot on day 1. She is waiting for next gymnastics class. Coach Karina T has been assigned to my daughter and she is very helpful, attentive and makes sure students are comfortable. I would recommend this place for kids. It's 50 minutes class every week. There is approximately 147$ monthly gymnastics fees and 45$ annual registration. They have small store as well for costumes if someone interested in buying from there.

We decided to stop sending my daughter to this place after more than 2 years here. She started here since beginner white and now she is at intermediate green. We are very depressed with followings: 1. Receptionists - are very rude since day1 and I have been neglecting them as long as my daugher is ok and happy there during her practice time. They don't really care the customers. Whenever you have questions, they will not answer nicely and instead will ask you to send the email. I always felt I got their "I don't care" kind of attitude and face. 2. Coaches - they don't have enough good coaches especially when your kids reach to higher level. My daughter experienced the coach kept changing when she gets to green level. Coaches are not proactively communicating regarding the progress. All they do is once in a while updating the skill chart and you will never know when and how. They will change your coach only with few day prior communication by email. 3. Makeup - they recently changed their makeup policy and which seems not fair to customer. No makeup when your kid sick or absence is by your false. 4. Recent skill chart update - My daughter is practicing at green more than a year and she was at 84% to complete green. They update her skill chart to 27% recently and we only got 1 email said they raised the bar to input skillchart. Is my daughter need to spend one more year at green which she already did 1 yr with 84%? I can only think that they are trying to dig $ from me as much as possible by changing skill chart criteria and putting my daughter down to 27% to be at green more longer. They don't even communicate in advance about skill chart criteria changes. The email came only a while after I found out the skill chart % changed/dropped. We know and accept that not everywhere is 100% perfect. We try to understand receptionist attitude, unstable coach.. we closed our eyes for unfair markup policy. But now their recent skill chart update put not only myself but also my daughter down and lost our trust on this gymnastics place.

Greedy management. Regularly hiking the fee and changing policies in their favor to make more money or save their expenses. Recently stopped offering make-up lessons for sick kids. On Thursday(8/29) evening they sent an email out of the blue saying classes have been cancelled for 5 days including that day and no make-ups will be offered. They are the only institute in the entire bay area I'm aware of charging annual (recurring) $45 membership fee, despite charging the monthly fee.

We used to love this place, but unfortunately, it’s been going downhill very fast this year. First, they stopped doing make-up classes for the kids which is ridiculous because they have 2Y-5Y kids and you make such decisions when money-making becomes your priority, and not helping upskill the kids. When they stopped the make-up classes, the communications were out that they would let the kids do make up classes, if their class fell on a long weekend. That said, with the long weekend this Monday, they made a self-decision to close the place down from Thursday, August 29th - Monday, September 2nd. The kids who are to miss their classes on Thursday and Friday (which doesn’t fall on a long weekend) are not offered make-up classes, but the establishment surely expects you to pay in-full for the entire month. I recommend looking at other places which are more inclusive of parents feedback, and actually invested into developing your kids.

My son, who is 4 years old is with ninja 4 program in bay aerials , he started enjoying gymnastics only because of coach Karina, shout out to her cause she has some unique skills of gaining attention from kids on performing gymnastics. Kids in her batch are very focussed and well behaved. I recommend coach Karina and coach Julia and coach Jared. I have seen Julia and Jared substitute the batch love the energy and motivation from these coaches. Thank you for your dedicated efforts and lots of love from Rayden( your student). Attaching a pic of Rayden and his coach Karina.

I want to share my disappointing experience with what I can only describe as the worst gymnastics facility we have ever encountered. I have two daughters, aged 6 and 8, and we decided to enroll them in gymnastics classes here in Pacific West Gymnastics, hoping to see them develop their skills and gain confidence in their abilities. Since September 1, 2023, we have been attending classes once a week, and after 13 long months, I am disheartened to report that neither of my daughters has achieved any level advancement. Despite our consistent attendance and the effort we have put into this, it feels as though we have not made any progress at all. The instruction seems lackluster, and the environment is not as encouraging or supportive as we had hoped. This experience has been incredibly frustrating for both me and my daughters, who were excited about learning gymnastics but are now feeling disheartened. Given our experience, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. It has proven to be a waste of our time, money, and effort, and I truly believe that there are better options out there for aspiring young gymnasts. If you are considering enrolling your children in gymnastics, I urge you to look elsewhere for a more nurturing and effective program.

One Star Disappointed with Pacific West Gymnastics I enrolled my child at Pacific West Gymnastics with high hopes for a fun and enriching experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. A major issue is the constant presence of parents within the gym. The designated viewing area is often empty while parents crowd the gym floor, distracting both children and instructors. This creates a chaotic environment that hinders the learning process. Additionally, I've observed that the instructors seem overwhelmed, often struggling to give individual attention to each child. With so many distractions, it's difficult for them to effectively teach and supervise. I believe Pacific West Gymnastics has the potential to be a great facility, but it needs to prioritize a safer and more focused learning environment by enforcing the parent viewing policy and providing adequate staffing.

I signed up to 'try out' the Fremont location enrolling my 6 year old granddaughter for tumbling. I think if the instructor was a little more involved in the class and talked less to her colleague my granddaughter might have been more interested in the classes. We ended up leaving early because my granddaughter was crying and she didn't want to do tumbling any longer. I was sad that she didn't like it.

Last year, my daughter had a very negative experience during tryouts at this gym. The coach was extremely rude, causing my daughter distress to the point where she almost cried. As a result, we withdrew her from further classes here. Fortunately, we found a different gymnastics school where she not only felt supported but also excelled. This year, she was selected in Xcel tryouts. Would not recommend this gym based on our experience.
