good pickup runs on weekends. weightroom is so cramped. convenient shop in there on west campus. outdoor court has terrible rims that were removed all of 2020 and 2021 to discourage fun

Has enough equipment for a workout. Doesn't have many machines but plenty of free weights. 3 benches and 2 squat racks in addition to 3 free weight benches. The equipment isn't the best and this smaller gym fills up quick. Many cardio machines for after workout. Also space to store belongings, big unlocked boxes and smaller lock boxes, both free.

Great fitness center with spacious and clean dance/all purpose room, and a lot of other fund activities. The locker room is too small and makes it a bit challenging to change.

Extremely disappointing. Equipment breaks down and goes unpaired for weeks. For the past month only 2 (yes two!) of nine treadmills have been working. This problem has not been fixed despite endless complaints by gym goers. It seems university authorities consider students no more than captive cash-cows. It's a pity google reviews doesn't allow for less than a 1/5 rating.

Great place to work out, get bubble teas, subs, a quick snack. You can play ping pong, basketball inside, there is a climbing wall, basketball court outside and a designated area for different workout activities..

Current freshman at Cornell, been going to the gym 5-6 days a week since I’ve come here in late August. I’ve been slightly displeased overall with this gym, but didn’t decide to write a review until now. As of right now: -2 cable machines are broken (btw, the only 2 on the entirety of North Campus) - the leg extension is broken - the seated hamstring curl is broken - 60 pound dumbbell is missing (how does that even happen) - hip abduction machine is broken - assisted pull up is broken - 3 cardio machines broken Also, the leg press was broken at one point and took weeks to fix. They take so long to fix the machines (or just don’t fix them at all) in this gym so I’ve basically stopped using them in workouts just because I can’t ever rely on them being available. Even if nothing was broken, this gym is still mediocre at best. The design looks something like someone would have in their basement. Personally, I don’t mind care about the aesthetic, but it’s also always crowded and there is not enough equipment for the amount of people that work out there. Often there’s 2-3 people working on one machines/squat racks/bench and you basically have to wait in a line if you want to do any cable machine work. Overall, I’ve been very disappointed with this gym, having paid $150 to Cornell for broken machines and lackluster equipment. It’s one of the only two on North Campus (the only two that are reasonably convenient for me), the other of which is basically all free weights. If you have any way to get to a gym off campus or another one on campus I would recommend doing so.

The weightlifting options are somewhat restricted here, e.g., no deadlifting, only one bench and only 2 Squat racks. Other than that good availability of dumbells, cables and machines. Longer opening hours is good. Close to North-East campus. Good views.

High proportion of Squat racks and deadlift platforms, which is good for me. Can be busy. Better music and aesthetic than some other campus fitness centres.

Small gym, not a big variety of equipment. The schedule can vary a lot depending on holidays, games and other stuff. Not the best experience.

Much regret over purchasing a CFC membership. Constantly and randomly changing hours. Frequently changing hours. Sma facilities that are crowded with long waits for equipment when open. Sub-par equipment. Will not renew beyond my 1st semester. Recommend Pallas Fitness or The Gym Ithaca.

Great place to work out on campus. Can use pool, free weights (including Olympic weights), machines for cardio or resistance training. Staff friendly, helpful, even provide clothes and towels to wellness members. Only downer is poor circulation and no a/c, so some rooms get pretty humid and gamey smelling, but you get used to it.

Teagle Hall has a gym and swimming pool that are open for students to use (and I believe the public as well). It is also used for a lot of the Cornell sports like swimming, gymnastics, and rowing. That can be a bit intimidating but the staff are really nice so I’d definitely recommend going to workout or swim. One thing that is annoying is that there is usually only one (sometimes 2) entrances open which is the one closest to the football field so if you’re walking from central campus you have to go all the way around the building.
