Imagymnation is the best place to work out! The atmosphere is very welcoming. Best workouts; great for all levels of fitness. Manny is a terrific coach - always focused on each of his members to bring out the best performance in each one. Gigi is a great motivator - always making each workout fun. Highly recommend!

I wish I could rate more stars!. The workouts are fantastic and geared for everyone. You get stronger and leaner as the weeks progress and go at your own pace. I am so grateful for a gym that feels like a family. Everyone encourages and supports each other. Manny and his team are exceptional!

Love working out at this wonderful Nation. Have been working out with Manny and Gloria for a few years now and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. They motivate and inspire me even when I don't feel like working out or eat healthy. While they are the best I also have to give a shout out the members as everyone make you feel welcome and comfortable.

Great atmosphere provided by Gigi and Manny! Workouts are modified if needed with form always corrected to avoid injury. Wouldn't workout anywhere else. This is MY GYM I love it and 6pm class is the best.

The owners, Gloria and Manny, are THEE best!! Not only do they own the gym they are a constant presence, always encouraging us, making sure our form is correct so we don't hurt ourselves, providing modifications, making us laugh, making us stronger and they keep us wanting to come back!! I strongly suggest everyone check out this small but mighty gym!!

Lovely space.... HORRIBLE STAFF! last year and this year, the non profit I work with, was scheduled to host events at the fieldhouse. After detailed and thorough communication they seem to always follow up after weeks of silence saying they messed up and can't supply the proper time frame of our needs. Today was the worst incident, being a free public event through the Chicago arcs program where a signed contract for our event to leave at 5pm. After they tried to move are event because of their management doubling booking the space, we ended up getting the space back and then they decided to kick us out and hr early even tho our contract said 5pm.... This is an unacceptable way to run a fieldhouse especially when communities are relying on community events that are ment to empower art and creativity. Would give 0 stars if that was possible.

The newest paving of margate park in Aug 2024 paved over all of the drains on the side of the path - they are useless drains. Simply the newest mediocrity of Chicago construction. You can't make this up... And no one is going to do anything about it - the park will flood everytime it rains now. Good job...

The place is always out of paper and trash lying everywhere. It’s not even a lack of amount of workers because I’ve always seen lots of workers huddled talking at the desk. Seems like they don’t even care about maintaining the gym. Poorly kept gym. Do better please. Picture is an example of what I’m talking about. There’s always trash just lying around everywhere.

Xsport management and leadership need to start doing something about this. They don't hesitate to charge every month and the yearly fee but do take forever to make sure their locations are clean, in order, and there's cleaning supplies. Smh. (Took these photos all in one day)

Gym needs a major upgrade of their equipment. Treadmills just stop/slip while your walking/running on them. Ellipticals grind and scrape. Almost blew out my knee this morning. Flat bench pad falls off the stand. The whole bench wobbles. SUPER DANGEROUS. There’s been a trip hazard on the floor in the free weight area for months where part of the floor is coming up. Staff is usually on their phone or talking to each other. I’ve submitted tickets, spoke to staff and emailed customer service. No changes. I realize this is a discount location but as a member of XSport since 2001 this is the worst I have ever seen at this place. When concerns are brought up they laugh or state “ya we know”. I would not recommend signing up here unless you do a thorough review of the equipment. It’s all WELL PAST its safe use. EDIT: THIRD DAY IN A ROW A TREADMILL HAS STOPPED MID-WORKOUT. THIS PLACE IS GOING TO END UP WITH SERIOUS ISSUES. EDIT: 04-05-22. Flat benches still not fixed. The entire bench shifts when you lift the bar off. Just a matter of time until the bolt snaps and injures or kills someone.

Chicago Aerial Arts is a great place to train! And who doesn’t love free parking! I love the place and studio which is super inviting and cozy, and all the staff are very welcoming, positive, and so supportive! I love being a part of CAA aerial community and so happy I found this place to be able to express my aerial creativity (and on all apparatuses!) I also a big fan of open gym and being able to train on my own (which I’ve been doing hammock/silks for awhile). Otherwise the place is super clean and organized, designated areas for shoes/jackets, and love the space between each apparatus in the space. Safety in aerial is always the top priority and CAA always has mats available for everyone (which should be used at all times). 10/10 recommend!! They offer a variety of levels from intro/ beginner & new levels and specialized limited workshops 😁 Love Chicago Aerial Arts like my second home 💙!!

I always wanted to try cirque arts and the intro offer was a great way to test the waters. The staff was amazing at answering all my questions and they were A LOT. They've made it really accessible for someone who's completely new to this world. I finally signed up for silks and I'm loving the learning and new skills. The teacher has been accommodating in providing challenges for my athletic level, while being throughout and safe for my skill level. The people have been warm and welcoming and i'm always looking forward to my weekly class. So glad I found this place!

The supportive instructors prioritize safety and encouragement, making even the most challenging moves feel attainable. Whether you’re a beginner exploring aerial arts for the first time or a seasoned performer looking to refine your skills, you’ll find accessible options tailored to your needs. Chicago Aerial Arts isn’t just a studio—it’s a place to soar, both physically and mentally!

Chicago Aerial Arts is a great place to do something new and get a great workout. I did my first class over a year ago with zero experience in aerial/circus and it was welcoming and fun from the start. The teachers are friendly and helpful but also encourage you to go at your own pace and only do what you to feel comfortable trying. Going to class is one of the highlights of my week!

I absolutely love working out at Fit Code, I was a regular for a long time before moving and now that I am back in the area, I rejoined. It’s a place where you feel welcome and comfortable. I’m more than just a number on a key code. The trainers all know you by name, learn about you, and try to help in any way they can. The staff and members are all so friendly and supportive. I’m not a morning person at all, but the 5:15a class makes me feel so energized. I hate getting up in the morning, but yet once I’m there it’s the best part of my day. I like that they push you to do your best, but also provide modifications for when medical issues cause limitations. I always feel like I belong there.

Fitcode Beverly is an amazing place to workout. The coaches are extremely supportive and the workouts are challenging but doable. I appreciate how everything is clearly laid out to take all of the guesswork and stress out of exercising. I have been a member on and off for several years, but I most recently joined after having my first baby. After a couple of weeks of consistency I am down 12 lbs and very confident in my postpartum body.w

My best friend referred me to Silencer Athletics years ago; I worked out with Paul, saw results, but wasn’t fully committed. A few years went by, gained the weight back, and decided to be consistent and disciplined; signed up again and was able to fit into my birthday dress this year. I intentionally ordered it a size smaller and was so excited that I was able to zip it up without any issues. He’s a great trainer and I’m looking forward to see how my body will continue to transform! Fully recommend!!

I look forward to telling more of my friends and family about his work.

Paul seems like hes worked out before, but probably not with very much weight, which is ok. His muscles were kind of small which was a bit of a surprise for a gym guy. Most of the people working out were kind of scrawny too. I like Meaty Gyms. I usually order double meat at subway. So yeah just try to add some meat to the place, maybe a poster of some cured meats on the wall...

I love Chicago Body Shop for the customized training I receive. I’ve attempted too many times to be my own trainer. You know, join a big box club, watch some videos, drink some water, and drop the weight… I finally admitted that I needed someone to tell me what to do, when, how and why! That’s what I’ve found with Chicago Body Shop. D is absolutely AWESOME! He knows just how far you can go, then edges you just a bit further than you thought was possible. Because of his knowledge and true desire to help you achieve your fitness/health goals, working with D has solidified my determination to get fit and stay fit. The BEST decision I made in 2024 and I’m ready for more in 2025.

D is professional, on time, challenges you, pushes you to be your best self inside and out, and customizes a fitness plan that’s achievable and satisfies the wants of the customer. Finding this gym(gem) has been a blessing and I look forward to seeing my results. Best decision I could have made.

Recently returned as a member after living out of state for years.... WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?!?! What a joke! Terrible facilities - dirty - locker rooms smell terrible - showers suck - always walking into dirty toilets (always!!) Disgusting! In addition - what "luxury" club does not offer upscale products to shower and get ready with?!?! Just generic, goopy, mystery shampoos, soaps and lotions .... nasty and way out of touch with luxury gyms! Try to find management to suggest this to or complain.... ha - non existent or dismissive. Highly suggest you go somewhere else!

I love this country club so much! I would recommend it time and time again. As someone who has some experience with upscale gyms, EBC takes the cake 🍰. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They’re so willing to answer questions upon signing up and have had the privilege to get a couple of tours of the facility since it’s so big and I forgot where things were lol. The members are also kind and it’s easy to socialize here. I’ve met some awesome women in my classes and can see myself continuing to make friends and acquaintances. Love how they have social events every so often. The food there is delectable, too. The pools are always clean and their rooftop is gorgeous. I would continually recommend this place. Such a good place to be at in Chicago, especially during the summertime. EBC is worth every penny and I will continue to be a member there for a very long time. Join!! You won’t regret it.

If you like drama, this could be your club. I've been a member here for two years. I received a phone call from Diane yesterday to inform me of a moment I'm having with one of there fitness staff. The staff member is saying things that are not true and Diane would rather take her word. I informed Diane that I have over one and a half years of text messages with this fitness instructor that would explain this moment and requested that I could come in and show her. She refused. I told her the following: You're hitting the bullseye on the wrong target, I believe your employee is stressed out and needs a vacation, I reassured her that I have zero interests in this fitness instructor romantically, and I did not cause this event. Here are some things that she could know if she would be open for discussing: The staff member asked me out (socially) and that goes against EBC policy. The staff member and I went out socially. The staff member has been in my home several times. This situation goes outside of her scope of employment. She does not have the right to affect a relationship that her own employee started with me outside of the scope of business. For the record I keep telling the employee I am not attracted to her. It's a moment that I think the employee is having some personal challenges in her life and she's taking it out on me. Diane- you have zero abilities to listen- I feel bad for your employees health, but I am not your problem.

For 30 years, the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts has hosted many live performances featuring world-class musicians and actors. Nilo Cruz, Henry Mancini, and Los Lobos are just some performers who have graced the stage at this beautiful venue. There are two theaters on site. The Robinson Theater is a larger venue, and the Studio Theater offers a more intimate environment. Besides performances, several cultural events are held throughout the year.

Paid full price for a year membership. They do not post when their gym will be closed on their website. I walk in and the male employees either dont possess strong enough neck muscles to look up, or they just don't care about treating others with human decency. When I made very little money at the gym I found a way to be nice, or at the very least, say hello. Also, there is a sign that says everyone must check in. There is no one at the front desk so how do you expect me to do this as it happens so often? Others notice this issue as well and just walk right on in. Im assuming this is ok? Please, return my money or change your atmosphere/employee work ethic. Thank you

Out dated work out equipment and somewhat clean. Clean bathrooms. Only good thing about this gym is the separated running track on third floor. Otherwise pretty outdated gym, equipment is probably 10-20 years old. Not sure how much the monthly costs are since I do not pay but if its anywhere above 30 or above pee month, its probably not worth it when Moraine Valley has a brand new gym for 50 bucks a month and a pool/jacuzzi.

I just hate the fact that to get an answer for monthly membership, you need to hear a whole script then be told how the prices vary, then be told someone will have to call you back. I had a membership & cancelled but my son would like one now, I was willing to see if it would work but I feel like I’m at a timeshare event, Everything a secret… then you sign!

This place has really gone down hill. The one true positive here is the cleaning staff - they do a great job keeping the place looking good. Almost everyone else on the payroll from management to the front desk is either completely inept or entirely indifferent to doing their job. Equipment is also often broken for prolonged periods of time, the layout of the gym itself makes no sense, and the showers tend to go from hot to scalding without notice. The pool is great, that is until it gets so crowded from all the outside nonmember day guests they let in on the weekend that you can't find a chair. They also keep raising prices, and for what you are actually getting in return it's pretty ridiculous. It's basically a way overpriced LA Fitness with a pool. We've decided to cancel. It's just not the same gym it used to be before covid.
