Amazing gym and community!! CrossFit is for everybody and grey group fitness goes above and beyond when it comes to creating an inclusive environment. It may seem super intimidating from the outside but if you’re a beginner/no experience CrossFit is the place for you! Not only do our trainers teach and demonstrate every class but members with more experience will always go out of their way to help and make sure newer members know exactly what’s going on. Not ready for group classes? They offer a free trial class and have a foundations program that will get you ready to take class all on your own. Our community has athletes that are as young as 13 and up to in their 70s!

On the road 12-6-24 traveling through Brentwood CA ( NorCal). Emailed the gym to ask about a drop in, they replied quickly and got me hooked up. They use the Mind Body app. The gym is not large, but the space is efficiently used, and clean. 9 in the group had plenty of room. Solid plan and format for workout, coaches were knowledgeable and fun. Group was a riot, we all laughed and cried in pain together. I had a good time and great workout.

I’ve been a member for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The coaches here are exceptional— they got me started with Olympic lifting and have been instrumental in my growth ever since. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, there’s always something new to learn, and the coaches make sure you're constantly improving. Highly recommend this place to anyone serious about their fitness journey!"

Great CrossFit Gym for all skill levels. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced Athlete, you’ll always find someone here who can push you to your next level in one way or another. I’ve witnessed some absolutely incredible fitness journeys here and I am constantly inspired. The community is very supportive and the coaches are super knowledgeable in everything fitness (nutrition, recovery, event training). If you are in the Brentwood area and train, this is the place to be.

I've been a member of Grey Group Fitness/CrossFit Takedown for over four years, and it has truly become like a second family to me. I was brand new to CrossFit and extremely intimidated when I first joined this gym. I almost quit after a week, but I was so warmly welcomed by the members and coaches, that I decided to stick with it. Since joining, I've learned so much from the knowledgeable coaches, and the encouragement from fellow members has pushed me to achieve things I never thought possible. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, I can't recommend this place enough. The community here is incredibly supportive and welcoming, no matter your fitness level.

I have been going to this gym for 6 weeks and I'm addicted. Lol. I have never experienced CrossFit before setting foot into this gym. What keeps me coming back and being addicted is that in the 6 weeks I have been going, I have not had one repeat workout yet. Everything is fresh to keep my body guessing on what the next workout will be. I'm a very competitive person and having others to compete with is right up my alley. I'm 48 years old and the fitness bar is set so high that I feel like I could be training for years and not be at the top of the fitness level that they have for athletes. I love the help from the coaches that will show me how to correct or modify my workout bases on my fitness level. I'm always pushed but never feel like I'm going to hurt myself because the coaches are there every class to help me get the most out of each workout. If you are up for a challenge and want to really be in shape, this is the place to be. You will be addicted just like me.

Been going for years and have never competed in a competition. The coaches are the friendliest people I know. If you stay consistent, it will change your life!
