Smart Gym Peoria

Great gym with great trainers. G tailors workouts to my goals; level and physical fitness. After 2 months I've improved my strength and fitness while losing 10 lbs. The owner is there often and the staff are friendly. Definitely a gem of a gym!

Was a great gym at one point. Cancelled my membership three months ago, I turned in my key FOB and everything to the gym. Paid a cancellation fee as well as I don’t live on that side of town anymore as I’m with a different gym. Now but for the past three months they continue to take money out of my account for my membership I canceled. I went into the gym to explain my situation and the worker tried to tell me it was because my account was never charged for two months previously when I informed him it’s automatically deducted from my account and my account was current. Then he provided another excuse as it was the “cancellation” fee I didn’t pay. Which I informed him again I paid that and have the credit card statement to prove it. He then said I should be refunded within two weeks which I just left it alone as I believed him. That was my mistake, I just got charged the $19.99 monthly membership again today. That’s $60 dollars smart gym owes me even though i cancelled this membership three months ago. UPDATE: 07/05/24 I followed up with the owner Johnny about my issue he was very cordial/ helpful of my situation. He stated everything was done correct on their end but they have to follow up with their finance bill paying company (ABC Finance) about this issue. Johnny will follow up with me on Monday. I will update my review as my issue gets taken care of.

I joined Smart Gym last October after taking a couple years off from the gym. I started training with Johnny and his staff in early January at 250 lbs. I am now at 215 lbs at the end of June. The staff is awesome, gym is clean and never overcrowded allowing me to get in a great workout at my own pace. I am in the best shape of my life and I give a big thank you to Smart Gym.

Trained her for a couple months while I was in town between college semesters, loved it. Trainers are incredibly focused on personalized training and catering to your body. The owner, Jonnie, was also very nice and down to earth, always there to help or answer questions as well. All together, as someone who was reluctant to workout due to my own laziness and finding the right motivation, they all made it an enjoyable experience and pushed me to keep going while helping me see my achievements through their body scan machine. Was a great experience and would highly recommend giving it a try!!

Best Gym Best Trainers, 24hrs and its safe and easy to access. This gym is a winner! Great concept for people who work crazy hours like I do.
