Gordon Family YMCA

I love coming here. The staff is so friendly and amazing. You always feel welcome. They have so many options and classes available. Definitely family friendly. I started coming to this location to get in physical therapy and now I’m hooked. The pool is my favorite.

As a parent, the cost of membership is SO worth it. I looked everywhere for swim lessons for toddlers and other options were $100+. Being able to use the pool, sign up for both swim and gymnastics lessons, and getting a full gym membership makes our membership so worth it. On top of this, the Gordon Family facility is very clean and well taken care of. Each time we’re here the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I went here for the first time for open gym volleyball, and although the facilities were nice the people playing weren’t very welcoming, as well as the staff not being helpful, spending the duration of the open gym time on their phones. The open gym was set to start at 6:00pm and they started an hour late at 7:00pm. Though some people were very nice. It felt like a lot of the people avoided playing with me and being a ball hog. I’m in no way new to volleyball but their were standards were automatically so low for me that they felt the need to comment on everything I did. I don’t recommend coming here if you and your kids just want to play some light casual volleyball. They were very closed off and it felt like I was intruding on a family reunion.

I was hesitant about going to the Y because I’m used to smaller, boutique type gyms. However, the amount of classes and amenities that are included in the cost is amazing. Not to mention, the staff (especially in childcare) has been so helpful! I highly recommend the Y to anyone who wants a quality gym with quality amenities included.
