When I started I weighed almost 400 pounds, today I'm 245! I utilized one of thier personal trainers to get me started. He showed me the basics, the gym layout and helped me plan my routines! The staff are friendly and vigilant and the other members generally are nice as well. I love my gym and hope you will love it too!

Don't waste your time with this "Gym" Bad attitude from all of the staff and lack of basic equipment for a "warehouse gym". When you go to this gym expect to pay a premium price to wait around for equipment and get treated like a child by staff members. If you want to go to a real warehouse gym I suggest Virginia Beach Iron Gym, where you don't have to wait for BASIC equipment and you are greeted with a positive attitude when you walk in the door.

Decent gym, but to call yourself a “warehouse gym” and only have 4 maybe 5 adjustable benches is outrageous. They’re one of the most popular pieces of equipment. So what’s my $768 a year going to?

I first joined in 2019 and it was a great gym. Always clean and well furnished with equipment. When my priorities changed and I had to cancel my membership it was painless and easy. When, once again, my life changed and I needed a gym membership the Iron Asylum was my first thought. They welcomed me back with open arms. Would recommend to anyone who is serious about their weights.

Switch to this gym because it’s walking distance from my home. With in the first month they’re already upgraded machine and new dumbells. 24/7, always clean, community in the gym is welcoming. A nice mix of powerlifters/bodybuilders/general public. They have a massage therapist and a chiropractor inside the facility as well. They even have a wall of merchandise you can choose from. Trainers, showers, private saunas (not co-ed) and mostly they have a great posing room.
