The Shop Gym

The Shop has great vibes and kind staff, not to mention the equipment is that of a lifters dream. If you are strength training focused, this is the Mecca of NOVA.

This gym has an incredible selection of machines, new and old, rare and unique, you name it. Flex Fitness, Atlantis, Strive, Cybex, Panantta, Magnum, Hammer Strength, and more. Well organized by body part and very spacious. The gym is also very friendly for different athletes, Powerlifters, Weightlifters, Strongman, and of course Bodybuilders. The staff is also extremely friendly, I was showed around the gym by Rachel, who was awesome in helping me know what locations had certain equipment I wanted to try. Bonus points for this gym having amazing merch, with really unique artwork. If Manassas or Asburn are local to you, your lucky to have The Shop!

By far the best gym in the northern va area. If you are into powerlifting i highly recommend you going. The members are great the owners are great and nice people. If you are into bodybuilding you will love it as well for those strongman folks this place is for you too. Definitely my favorite gym to train at prices aren’t bad at all best bang for you buck. If you are new into lifting or just want to feel welcomed and yet feel motivated i highly recommend you drop by.

After a solid few years of membership, talking this gym up to everyone I meet, I have never been more disappointed by staff/ownership attitude. With extremely short notice, they notified the Strongman group that all the equipment had to go immediately and was no longer welcome at the gym. Made individual members load stuff into a UHaul. I won't pretend this is the first time strongman athletes have been treated disrespectfully by owners. If you aren't an influencer, pro bodybuilder, or willing to buy every merch drop, these dudes do NOT care about your experience at their gym. Environment has slowly gotten more and more toxic the years we've been there. Good riddance. Go to Unleashed instead.
