If you want your kid to progress in tumbling, this is the place!! My girls took tumbling for 1.5 & 2 years and hardly progressed, and now are doing round offs, back kickovers, one-handed cartwheels and are so close to front walkovers. I do wish they had a waiting room and an office manager to answer phone calls, and it would also be lovely to be able to request class times, but everything else is great. They’re more business instead of play here but that’s why your kids improve quickly. I was worried about it being too tough for my girls, but they’ve loved it!

Jolley’s is known for their ‘tough-love’ teaching style. My oldest daughter’s personality didn’t jive, so she only spent a few months. My youngest stayed two years (age 4-6) and learned many tumbling skills thanks to Miss Olivia! The last six months with a new coach, things changed. My daughter wasn’t allowed to show her back handspring skill during class time, even with the many private lessons we felt pressured to try and a ‘green light’ from that coach. My daughter started to cry often when it was time to go to practice out of exasperation, and other parents started to share with me that their kids cry, too, and that it’s normal here!! After the December showcase, we were done with that type of environment. All my friends’ kids have since gone elsewhere bc of the coaching conduct being too intense. Thankfully, all our girls learned some solid tumbling skills to build from. It’s a toss-up— a total child-by-child basis.

I can't say enough good things about Jolleys!! I recommend them to everyone with little girls! we've worked with most of the teachers at Jolleys and they are all so friendly and take the time to make sure your daughter is taught correctly! My daughter can do back walkovers already at age 5 and is progressing so quickly. I've been thoroughly impressed, they are the best place to go in Utah for tumbling!

I have been so impressed with Jolleys. At first I felt unenthusiastic about it, but a neighbor recommended it to me. My daughter started in summer and now she is so much stronger and she has skills! Her first couple classes were rough though and she didn’t want to go. As soon as she noticed her progression, she grew so much more confident. She’s excited to practice at home and excited to go to gymnastics. She’s always looking forward to getting moved up to a new class, so that incentive has been very motivating. My only complaint is that it’s only for girls. I have a preschool age son that I wish I could enroll.

We have been going to Jolleys gym now for 7 years. Like any place there are pros and cons for sure! They are excellent at getting your child in shape and definitely focus on core strength! I love that. Olivia is my girls’ teacher now and I have absolutely loved her. She is positive and kind and the vibe is very encouraging. Jolleys isn’t for everyone. They are very strict and demand structure (which isn’t a bad thing). There is one teacher (maybe an aid to help) for 20 students and the students learn quickly how its run. They definitely have it down and it works! For what you pay, it’s worth every penny!! Thank you Olivia for making such a positive influence on my kiddos!!
