Lone Star Black Belt Academy

We've been apart of LSBBA almost three years now and all I can say is...every kid needs a Mr. Jackson in their life! This school isn't just the best because they dominate on the mats (um, hello world champions!) Where they shine is HOW they cultivate a winning mindset. My kids have grown so much in their skills and in themselves. It's awesome because they are getting into even cooler combos and moves now. Jackson and all the instructors pour into these kids. The kids feel it and want to give their best. Everyone cheers everyone on. it's a wonderful environment to be apart of.

We recently started my 5 year old at Lone Star Black Belt Academy and we all love it! The instructors are so amazing, they take the time to ensure not only that us parents are knowledgeable but that the kids are understanding of what is being taught and with so much patience and care. They create a family like environment - they even make the effort to remember your child’s name. If you’re looking for a place for your little, I highly recommend this Program!!! Thanks LSBBA!!

They have way too big of classes. Not enough teachers so its pure chaos. It's basically a pay to advance karate school, we watched numerous kids not learn what they needed but pay for extra lessons and suddenly they got the next belt despite not learning any of the skills. We even paid for a summer camp that promised a t-shirt, when we quit four months later we still hadn't gotten the shirt. This place turned us off the karate. Just wanted to warn others who were hoping to find a skill based karate school that cares about their students, this isn't it.

Lone Star Black Belt Academy is the best! My son loves all of the instructors, but i have to say Mr. Jackson and Mr. Chris are his favorite!! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to teaching the sport of Karate and much more to my son and the rest of the herd.

We've been going to Lone Star Black Belt Academy for 2 years! My kids started at 4 and 6 and they love this place. The instructors are so good with kids and I really enjoy the kickboxing class for myself.
