Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Sugar Land

I have been taking my two boys ages 6 & 7 there for almost a year and absolutely enjoyed everything about Tiger Rock! The staff is extremely patient and kind to the students. Both of my kids have improved in mannerism and punctuality since they started which makes it easier for me at home. Their behavior and listening skills have improved tremendously this year because of Tiger Rock staff and classes. I enjoyed the program because they have kids in different age groups which they can learn from the older kids. It’s also nice to see a familiar face as most of the kids go to the same schools. The staff made my kids birthdays very special by having a breaking the board birthday celebration with the class. This is truly the best program as it’s flexible for working parents and they even have Saturday class. We have gone through several Test Up classes to advance into another belt color. The kids are always excited to have testing because that means all their hard work is paying off when advancing with their friends. I highly recommend Tiger Rock in Sugar Land!! 😊

I would like to leave a review after my children had Martial Arts classes at Tiger Rock. My first child took his Martial Arts class starting from the White belt to the Black belt while my little one started her class from a Tigercub class and built her way up to the Blue belt. I do not regret to have my children taking Martial Arts here because Tiger Rock does not only give self-defence lessons but they also teach students to be discipline, compassionate and respect themselves and others. There are lots of good things that my children learned from Tiger Rock. All instructors including Mr. & Mrs. Saenz are warm-hearted and they want the best for all of their students. This is a long journey from anyone who is entering to this Martial Arts, but the result is worth it! Highly recommended!

The most welcoming and encouraging bunch of great people. My son has had a rough few years from the death of his older brother from cancer, to his only living Grandparent also passing within a year of each other. These lovely people brought him in and adopted him had their little buddy. They all encourage sportsmanship and perseverance. He has learned so much from, not only the instructors, but everyone he trains with. It’s a beautiful friendship. A family. We are so proud to be part of Tiger Rock Sugar Land!

We spent some time looking for a martial arts academy where our 13 years old could learn defense techniques, discipline and have a great welcoming and social environment. It wasn’t an easy task until we were invited to visit Tiger Rocks Sugar Land academy one Saturday. Mr. Kirkpatrick answered all our concerns and more. Our son felt very confident and he was ready to start right away. Time has passed and today, he earned his Green belt LV3. He has a gold metal and 2 bronze from last district competition. He has developed a higher self esteem and confidence on things he never thought he would do. We are very thankful for everything that his instructors have done for him.

The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained. I think that makes a big difference for the students to see that their training area is taken care of. It sets a precedent that we need to be respectful too. The instructors are so kind and understanding. My son enjoys his time here.
