Coppell Family YMCA

My son had a wonderful experience with the Swim Team at Coppell Family YMCA! The coaches were truly dedicated and supportive, helping each swimmer improve their technique and build confidence in the water. The team atmosphere was inclusive and motivating, fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork. Additionally, the facilities were well-maintained, providing a great environment for training and competitions. Overall, it was an enriching experience that combined fitness, fun, and friendship.

Didn’t get a chance to join… came in to ask about membership and wanted to see the facility.. the lady at the desk states she needs me to fill out a guest form.. perfectly fine.. but my name, phone number and email should be enough for just looking around.. the lady says I need to fill out- name, address, phone number, email, birthdate, emergency contact name and phone number.. that is invasion of privacy.. just to see the facility.. before hopefully joining… You’re going to loose a lot of customers. Bad consumer service… 👎🏽 👎🏽 07/14/24 Update- Thank you for your response, I do understand and appreciate that, safety is important. But you don’t need my address, an emergency contact and their contact information to ensure that. Name , phone number and email address should suffice. Thank you.

My family and I love our Coppell YMCA! We've had the best experience with the staff there and especially the Child Watch staff. I couldn't have asked for a better group of women that take care of my kids so well and pour into them with care and God's love. This allows me to have time to work out and feel more in shape. I love walking in and having people I know say HI and I feel welcomed. I've been so happy with the equipment, classes and all of the family friendly events that have come up over the years we've been members. THANK YOU for Parent's Nights Outs and community events and discounted swim lessons and so much more.

This YMCA is absolutely amazing! I drop my kids off in the childcare and go workout. Every staff member here is so kind and helpful, and the facilities are kept very clean. The classes are excellent. Ive already recruited two friends to join, too because it’s so great!

Private swim lessons are not worth it here. College kids are teaching and within 4 weeks there has been one teacher change and 2 reschedules. That’s not what is expected out of a private lesson for what it costs. Even group lessons in other places are taken more seriously.
