I've been to quite a few gyms in Austin and finally found my home gym at this LA Fitness. The staff is friendly and energetic. The GM, Stevie, is always there to lend a hand and ensures you get what you need from the gym. The head trainer, John, is encouraging, motivating, and knowledgeable in his training. I highly recommend this gym location.

This gym looks like they can’t afford any repairs. Are they going bankrupt or just super poor management? 1. No hot water in showers for 3 weeks now 2. Family restroom out of service for 1 week 3. Calf machine out of service for 4 months. 4. Dirty restrooms always. 5. Vending machines always out of service or out of products. 6. I don’t think staff ever cleans gym equipment. 7. Urinal out of service

I came to the gym at 9:20 to work out, but they called on the loudspeaker that the gym closed at 10 pm it should be close at 11pm I don't know why If they want to close early, they should write on paper and put it to the front desk

Ladies be careful in the locker rooms!! There was a man snooping around the women’s sauna. Peeping Tom or snooping with worse intentions? Idk. But I’m happy I wasn’t in the sauna alone. Does he have a gym membership here?? When we told the front desk their response was “maybe it was the pool guy”. What’s the pool guy doing peeping around the women’s sauna & showers?

I rarely leave reviews, and even more rarely do I write negative ones, but my experience at this LA Fitness compels me to share my thoughts. First and foremost, the lack of internet is a major issue; my phone had no signal anywhere in the gym. Additionally, this location advertises a basketball court, yet it has been removed, forcing me to travel an extra 20 minutes to access one at another gym. The tipping point for me, however, was the unprofessional behavior of the sales team. I dealt with Aaron, who misled us about guest access included in our package. When we sought clarification, he dismissed our concerns with a scoff and refused to assist us further. As a sales rep myself, I found his treatment of customers not only unacceptable but truly disappointing. At around $50 a month, this gym simply isn’t worth it. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your fitness needs.
