Coach Rafael hosts a monthly open mat that my husband has been attending for over a year. I finally joined him today and the experience was everything I had heard about. A positive training environment, mutual respect for all athletes regardless of affiliation, and a really great time. I’m looking forward to returning! Thanks for having us!

Rafaello is an amazing coach! This is a safe environment to train in. I’ve trained with some of the best BJJ people there are, & Raf knows how to coach! The kids have lots of fun while learning confidence & staying fit. Plus, the kids have been winning medals all over the South!

This review is long overdue because Rafaello and Wanessa go above and beyond for every one of their students. Their new facility is absolutely top notch, but what really sets Houzn apart from anything else around Charleston is the people and the community that they’ve built. Everyone is welcoming, helpful, respectful, and super fun to be around and train with. Highly recommend for people of all ages and levels!
