Playing here for Sound Healing Sundays has been a dream. Margaret is the most lovey human to work with, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful community that continues to gather in this space! Join us for our new Sound Bath Sundays - second Sunday of every month 💜

What can I say about Roots Yoga? I've had an absolutely wonderful experience with every single class. I had only gone to a few classes before at another studio and could never work out a schedule that worked... so I had limited exposure to anything beyond some YouTube at home. My first class was a Restorative class on Tuesday's, (it's now Hatha Flow.) Lalita welcomed me in, showed me where to put my things, where the restroom was and the various blocks and aids were, and where to setup. The class was a great ease into things, in a very relaxed atmosphere. Get comfortable on the mathematical, breathing next to people. I'm an introvert. ok, it takes a little while to build up the courage to try some of these crazy positions. I then took a Vinyasa Flow on Thursday evening taught by Margaret, the owner. Remember those crazy positions? Haha. I kid. But there was definitely a flow to it, and her instructions from the time the class started were easy for an old fart like me to follow. From the breathing exercises, through the different positions and flows, which were pretty challenging for me at first. I'm still far from perfect, but that's why it's called practice. That was it. I was hooked. I've been going there for about a month and a half. 3-4 classes a week. I really enjoy the challenges faced on the mat. The physical and the mental. The focus and mindfulness, the meditative aspect to it. Ooh the lavender towels and incense. Amazing! I also really enjoy the energy of all the instructors and the experience.(I apologize in advance if we're in class if i subconsciously grunt or groan. Im an old man with weary joints. My stomach is also always grumbling.) I love the sense of community that Margaret is building. We all come there from wherever we were at with whatever we've got going on to get on the mat for 60 minutes. All different ages, shapes, and sizes and experience levels, and we all work our own practice. And that's been a pretty great experience so far. I even won a prize for taking so many classes! See the picture! I look forward to trying all the different classes and offerings. I really can't believe how much better I feel doing a few classes a week. I would definitely recommend giving a class a try. I'm moving in ways I've probably not moved since I was a kid.

Margaret is incredible! My partner and I did a private couples lesson a few days ago and loved it so much that we scheduled another one for today. I've been practicing yoga for over 10 years and it was honestly my favorite class ever. The studio is intimate but the atmosphere is comfortable. Please visit this location for a lovely experience.

If you are looking for a community and space in which to feel safe and heal both your spirit and body, you have found it. Margaret is BY FAR one of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever had. She gives fabulous cues to help you stay focused on your breath and to keep your body safe and relaxed. The studio itself is intimate, peaceful, and very clean. Margaret burns incense that smells earthy and grounding. I’ve found my yoga studio, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue my practice with Margaret and her team.

Just had my first class here with Margaret and it was amazing! She has created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the class was great for someone with experience or a beginner since she gives options for modifications. I bought a class package and will be coming back frequently. I highly recommend everyone try it out!
