My grandson has been going for a year now. He enjoys the class so much and he has become a great young man from the kindness and caring atmosphere in the dojo. The lessons are great and we are so happy to have East West Karate as part of his activities.

East West Karate has become an integral part of our daily lives. The incredible teachers are truly devoted to ensuring that our little ones learn, grow and mature with a passion for discipline, structure and dedication. I am honored to have entered this school with my child. From the get go we were treated like family. We highly recommend East West Karate, Sensei Joe and Sensei Mary will transform your lives into the greatest version!

My 14 year old son and 25 year old daughter are both students at East West Karate in Warminster. I absolutely LOVE the place. My son started at age 5, and my daughter started when she was in High School. My daughter is now a Black Belt, and my son has his Junior Black Belt, on the Demo team (performing at various events in the area) and is working toward his Senior Black Belt this year. I highly recommend East West Karate for many reasons. The program centers around respect and family. In addition to learning karate skills, my children have learned self-defense, respect for self and others, focus and determination. When my son was little, many of the classes centered on anti-bullying and stranger danger - things that are sadly needed in this world.

A month into our time at East West, I gotta say, I'm happy we made the switch. Sensei Joe's teaching style is subtle and effective. I imagine most of the kids aren't even aware of the major life lessons he intertwines into each classes workout, but its really cool to watch. His leadership team is equally impressive. Each member is in-tune with where they are needed to provide support during the workouts. They also set up the next activity seamlessly while Sensei speaks to the kids...which seems to wrap-up just as the team has the mat set up for the next activity. Its all very well orchestrated. As far as the environment and feel off-the-mat, Sensei Mary runs a great front of house! She has been really communicative and friendly throughout, and from watching her interactions with the more experienced parents, its not just because we are new. She seems to have created great relationships in her 20+ years running this school. All-in-all, the school is clean and well-lit; the chairs and temperature in the room are comfortable. Our whole family is in agreement, this is a great place to attend a couple nights a week.
