Master Taekwondo

My kids have been going to Master Taekwondo for a few years now and I’m super happy with the progress they’ve shown. Master Phil is fantastic! He’s very patient and consistent with all the students. His classes are smaller than most, which allows him to focus on individual students as well as the entire group. He has high expectations, which is clear during every lesson. We’ve seen my kids grow more and more confident over time, which is all a parent can ask for!!

Master Taekwondo is the best place to learn this art. My father, brother and I began coming to the adult classes at night last year and we have all loved it. It's a way to spend time with each other while learning useful skills. Master Phil has been patient with all of us and we have all improved so much. Master Phil is beyond dedicated to seeing his students grow and reach their full potential. He is a natural teacher. I also love the other students in the class as everyone is different but it feels like a family now!!

My daughter started taking classes at Master Taekwondo with Master Phil a little over a year ago. As a teenager, I thought it would be one of those things she signs up for only to realize it’s not for her so it was important for me to find a program that was not only reputable but one without a long term contract. Master Phil is the real deal. Even after a year, she enjoys going to class as much today as she did when she first joined. Since there is no long term contract, I am not forcing her to go. She goes because she wants to. Also, after seeing how much she enjoyed going to Master Taekwondo, my other daughter started going as well. I’ve been impressed by Master Phil’s ability to be patient and kind while saying what needs to be said to push my girls. It’s a great program. I highly recommend to anyone considering learning Taekwondo.

Our girls benefit from the discipline of Master Taekwondo. Master Phil is a wonderful teacher. He is patient and fun with the kids, but always pushes them to do better and he expects the children to come to class prepared and focused. Belts are not just given away, but need to be earned through preparation and discipline. We give our highest recommendation to Master Phil and Master Taekwondo.

Master Phil's instruction, approach and genuine concern for his students are the primary reasons we continue to enroll both of our children. Both my husband and I are also enrolled in his adult classes. His dedication and discipline has made it near impossible for all of us not to attend his classes. Our son has been a student of Master Phil since he was 4 years old. Having Master Phil and his school as mainstays, especially during the pandemic has greatly contributed to both his physical and personal development. What I appreciate is how Master Phil keenly perceives the challenges his young and adult students face and finds ways to overcome them, with a tremendous amount of patience.
