Love this place!! My grandchildren have learned to swim here. Comfortable environment! Had our birthday parties here too!!

My sister had my nieces party here today & the owner Mary was so rude & nasty the entire time. She kept yelling at the kids, telling them if they had a life jacket on they needed to go to the deep end (which makes zero sense), but of course most of the kids wanted to swim together so they were all in the shallow end. She kept yelling at the parents saying that we needed to be watching our kids if they were in the pool, yet all of the parents were already at the end of the pool watching. When one of the parents told her that she didn’t need to keep yelling at the kids, she proceeded to kick all of us out. She said she never even wanted to have the party and a bunch of other rude stuff. Why even agree when you know you didn’t want to have it? This is the most unprofessional business I’ve experienced & I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from renting a space here. The owner Mary is one of the rudest people I’ve met

We moved to Penn Hills and decided to join the club because they have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, and we thought it’s the only heated indoor year-round pool near us and we wanted to swim during winter. $55/month in the summer is definitely worth it. You get two pools, a gym, sauna and steam room. I joined for the winter but the price is just not worth it. There’s a gym that’s actually pretty decent. The bathroom and fitting/lockers rooms could use some work. Showers are rinse off only, no curtains. The office area is sooo cluttered and there’s always food everywhere and there is no bell to ring if you have questions and there’s rarely anyone at the desk. You just sign in whenever you get there at the desk on your own. Hopefully you don’t have any questions. The sauna and steam room is pretty nice to have. My boyfriend uses it very often. We went every other day during the summer to swim laps because the outside pool is amazing! It’s huge and there’s plenty of places to lounge. They have tons of floaties and big pool toys which is really great. You can bring food and drinks and make a day of it. The only negative about the outside pool is there are no outside bathrooms/changing rooms so you do have to walk quite a bit if you need to use the bathroom. An outdoor facility would be really nice! After they closed the outdoor pool in September we were not aware that the swim team uses the indoor pool for two hours a night for training, and there are local classes in the a.m. It really was not explained well when we bought the membership. The indoor pool is also much smaller and only 3-4 people can swim laps at a time if you’re lucky. When you buy the membership they tell you the hours they’re open but not the hours the pool is closed for morning/night classes during the winter. It kinda became hard to make it work in our schedule to swim once October started. The indoor pool we noticed is very rusted and does need a lot of work. There’s also quite a few cats that come and go so you may walk around pet bowls and beds. We will consider joining next summer for the outdoor pool, but we found a closer indoor pool for the winter that is cleaner, open longer and half the price.

I'm a fan of this place. I have been taking up swimming as exercise occasionally and there's pretty much always a lane available. Plus there's 2 sauanas. One is a hot room the other is a steam room. The owner is always very polite and accommodating. For example, the last time I was there on a Sunday, the hot room wasn't on because nobody requested it all day, so she turned the steam room on because it heats up quicker. Everyone I meet there is usually really polite as well, one swimmer in the lane next to me that I was chatting with gave me his old pair of goggles. He was a lot better than me at swimming laps but still friendly.

Probably was very nice in the 60s when it was last updated. Indoor pool area seemed like everything was just thrown around, carpeting in locker rooms, bathrooms that have toilets that barely flush. Could be nice but would need a lot of updates. You can see daylight through the roof. Litter boxes inside pool area. Parking lot has tons of pot holes that could swallow a Prius.
