I have been a member at the Phoenixville YMCA for almost 30 years. The basketball courts are in horrendous condition. With the increased costs in membership fees you would think they would make cleanliness and safety a priority. When camp is finished the staff pushes piles of trash and debris underneath the basketball rims and it stays there till closing time. The courts have so much dust and dirt on them that you cannot get traction and slip. It really is a safety hazard. The nets on the rims are always ripped. Children’s clothes from camp are scattered throughout the gymnasium. Food and liquids are stuck to the court. It’s despicable. Whoever is in charge of managing the facility is doing a terrible job. And this is a problem being voiced by many members. We pay our hard earned money to be members at the YMCA and we expect the facilities to be in good condition. This is unacceptable. Make the necessary changes and please correct this problem.

I love this location because of the gymnastics class and pools! Facility is always clean and there's just an upbeat vibe every time I go.

This Phoenixville YMCA center is not good at all due to the way it is handled by the management. There is a huge variation between the YMCA spring valley and this one. Very unorganized and pathetic staff and trainers. I don’t recommend this center at all for its way of operations. Staff does not seem to be qualified especially the swimming. I would never look back again to the Phoenixville center. Very bad.. disappointing.

We swung by phoenixville Y one day, instead of our home Y that we have been going to for years, and have kept coming for the last 6 months! The entire staff really make the difference. From the front desk to the pool to the gym to group classes to the kidzone. Everyone is SO friendly, helpful and happy vibes. There’s the same but less equipment than other locations but it’s never too crowded like some other locations.

LOVE THIS BRANCH!!! Unlike the overpriced(the charge for outdoor pools), ignorant, and uninformative Ambler branch that limits when you can bring guests until 4pm, like people don't work, Phoenixville (DID I MENTION I LOVE THEM?!) let's you bring guests WHENEVER! They have several different pools, very clean facilities, and the SWEETEST most helpful staff. My personal favorite! Worth a drive ✅
