Love all of the Balance locations though this one is something special. Phil and Ricardo's knowledge and mastery, as always, combined with the addition of Frank Ambrifi's skill and expertise make this training experience intensely motivating and rewarding. As a female in a contact sport, I have always felt safe and encouraged to be my best.

I’m in Philadelphia for the week for work and dropped by to take their Muay Thai class. I got a chance to chat with the owner, Phil. Super nice guy and let me join in BJJ also. Ben was also great. I enjoyed the class a lot. It’s different than what I’m used to in the gym back home but it was fun to experience how other gyms train and taught me some new things. If I’m ever in Philly again, I will definitely be stopping by to train here.

I've been training at this gym for almost three years, and every class is incredible. Phil Migliarese, Frank Ambrifi, and all of the other instructors here pay tremendous attention to detail in the techniques they teach, and I feel like my Jiu Jitsu has improved enormously since I began training here. The atmosphere is super welcoming to newcomers, whether you're new to the gym or Jiu Jitsu entirely. I can't recommend this gym enough!

My name is Justin Garcia and I am a black belt in BJJ. I have been visiting Balance for training for about 6 years now and I can vouch for not only the world class training and instruction, but the sincere intentions of it's owners. It's not only about techniques at Balance, but the benefits one's Martial Arts academy is supposed to provide it's members. Great job, Phil and Ricky!

I train out in NJ but I go to Balance to train when I am in Philly and this place is fantastic. The instruction and facilities are top notch. As a woman in the sport sometimes it is hard walking into a place not knowing what kind of atmosphere you'll find. Women are an important part of this school and I have always been made to feel very welcome.
