I recently joined Club Pilates in McMurray. I regularly schedule Level 1 Flow or Level 1 Sculpt flow each month. I really enjoy Michelle Pates 7:00 am Level 1 Flow class on Monday mornings. Each class is different and she is very good at providing direction to the class on the correct way to do the movement. This class is an excellent way to start your week and after I leave her class I am motivated for the day ahead! Thanks Michelle for continuing to provide a challenging and fresh class each week.

Club Pilates is the place to go! My instructor today was Janna. Her passion and enthusiasm for Pilates is evident in her teaching. Her classes are well planned and have a good flow. She is very knowledgeable and has a pleasant demeanor. I highly recommend Janna and Club Pilates without hesitation!!

Nikki is one of my favorite pilates instructors. She put a lot of thoughts in the flow of the class. I especially love her music selections. I sometimes find myself humming/singing along while doing the workout. 🥰

The instructors are amazing and pilates has really changed my relationship with pain and my core is stronger. However, the corporate policy and how these franchises are run are designed to make money off their waitlists. For example, they want you to cancel within 12 hours of taking a class which I fully support so other people can get into the class. However, if you are waitlisted and not in teh class yet you also are expected to pay when moved off the waitlist within 4 hours of class start time. My issue is with this 12 hour window when not confirmed for an actual class. The franchise is not motivated to make this consistent with how their process works when booked in a class because franchise owners would lose money when multiple people are paying for cancellations under a 12 hour window including those not even in the class within the 12 hour cancellation period. The first person who cancelled under 12 hours and now the person also moved off the waitlist under 12 hours would also need to pay when they had not planned on attending becuase they were not in the class to begin with until a few hours before it starts. Let me add based upon response below that this is not a corporate policy as a year ago there was some consideration. Also, the app does not alert you to waitlist classes. Last thing is that you can get moved into. class while sleeping and then not wake up until after class has started and still be expected to pay. I believe people have a right to now this is the process.

I’ve taken a total of 10 - 1.0 classes but this was my first 1.5 class. Compared to 1.0 it was challenging but Michelle really explained every step of the way. The 1.0 classes are like the basics of Pilates - learning how to flow and really control your breathing. For 1.5 they add something to each basic move to make it more challenging to make your body work to its fullest potential. I can’t wait to go back !! I’ve had the chance to experience multiple teachers and they are all great- they explain their classes very thoroughly. There are multiple classes throughout the day to accommodate just about any schedule. Never hesitate to ask any questions, all the instructors there are so friendly and happy to help in any way they can. -Angel Lancaster
