Snap Fitness Mars

Don’t workout here. There’s plenty of other gyms in the area with a kind staff and a better overall environment. I almost turned around and left 60 seconds after entering this place for the first (and last) time because the staff was so rude about me not changing my shoes when I got there. Many of my friends have had similar experiences here. On top of that, the snap fitness in harmony, in cranberry, and the anytime fitness in mars all have a better layout with more and better equipment. If you have the option to go anywhere else, even if it’s using kettlebells in your basement, I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

On Thanksgiving, I came in with a member and one other person. He would not let us pay the one time $20 guest fee and sign the release paperwork. He threatened to call the police. Somehow he knows I’m a recovering addict and he shouted at me to go “get some drugs” in front of all the other gym patrons. The owner Scott admittedly hates “Silver Sneakers” members because he doesn’t get paid enough for their memberships. He stayed open during the height of COVID 19 when it was illegal and he never required masks when it was the law. This guy only cares about money. He doesn’t care about the safety of his members and guests or their private information. He thinks he’s a bouncer at a bar. I highly suggest not patronizing this business.

The facility is very clean and safe. I also like the brand of machines that Snap Fitness uses. They are always in good working condition.The staff is always polite and helpful. Also they give you a one on one tour of the gm when you join.When I started there three years ago a trainer did a free assessment based on my needs, showed me what machines to use and how to use them properly. Another plus is I can use any Snap Fitness! Wish they had more locations out of state.I like to workout when I travel.

The owner of this gym clearly has “roid rage” and should not be in charge of ANY business. He threatened to punch a guest because he tried to use the bathroom before changing his shoes. Avoid this gym at all cost
