Lansdowne YMCA

Very nice facility I love the gym and the pool, the staff here are very nice too especially the ones that work in the gym, they have a pretty good selection of equipment in the gym as well, from weights/dumbbells, ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and plenty of other equipment for a good work out. I’ve never tried any of the exercise classes but i would definitely like to soon.

I hesitate giving this place for stars. Want to give it five. But, if I’m honest, some of the machines need to be updated or refurbished. I’ve never used the pool. I should give that caveat as well. The wellness area has pretty much anything I want to use or need to use for my workouts. I think that this place is fantastic. It’s never overcrowded, it’s never full of bros. Anyone I’ve ever encountered here, no matter the age or background, has been kind and considerate. I’ve been going regularly for the last three months or so and I’m starting to learn peoples names who work there. Everyone seems to really care about the work that they do, and it makes such a great experience. I’m happy that this is within walking distance of my house, just a little over a mile, but it only takes me five minutes to get there if I want to take my lunch as a mental break. Fantastic place!

Terrible employee i signed up at this gym and it was my first day i went in and started working out and the lady came up to me in the middle of my workout and kicked me out for not wearing slides i ask her if she can excuse me it my first day she said no and she was extremely rude and told me to go thats not how to treat your first time customers

I always have a positive experience there. The staff is friendly and courteous.

My son goes to the gym and the atmosphere is pleasant, but when I go to the pool, I have noticed that the cleaning lady is bothered by people using the Lockers and always has an unfriendly attitude. I'm sorry to say this because the other employees are very good people.
