Great location. However, nobody seems to know the swim schedule nor if there is availability for people to swim. Went to swim, there were 3 people standing in the one lane and nobody was moving. I get in that lane and a coach tells me in a very arrogant tone just like a high school teacher that there is a class going on and that I need to get out of the lane. Meanwhile I have never been here before. I was told that at least 1 lane is open while there are events and thought that this was the lane. I will never be back and go to other locations.

Signed up my younger 2 to learn to swim and within 6 lessons they are fully capable of jumping in, treading, and swimming away!! Could not be happier with the instructors there! We have done the Butler YMCA, British Swim School, and goldfish throughout with our other kids and these two got a basis there, but still dropped like a sack of rocks. The instructor has them excelling in an extremely short amount of time. All the other programs took my other kids over a year to get where they kittanning YMCA has my littles in under 2 months!!

Staff is friendly. Building & lockerroom are clean. Great four lane pool for swimmers, whirlpool for relaxing, and wading area for kids.

Most times it's great. I use the warm water pool for my PT exercises. It's not so great when a group of barely supervised, very young children show up. The lifeguards do their best! It's fun watching the swim teams in the lanes when they come in from the warm water. Just wish the water was a little warmer!
