One of the most special places on earth. There is a surprising amount of great talent for such a small area in Pennsylvania. Coach Josh Hummer is so completely passionate about martial arts and teaching them to all age and skill levels.

Coach Josh and all the coaches for that matter, are great! He is very knowledgeable and is great with the kids. Keeps it simple and fun. The adult classes are a great workout, the other students in the classes have a variety of experience but even if you’re brand new, they make sure you have fun and learn something. Really glad I brought my kids to Tactical Combat!

My daughter and I have been training here for several months. The coaches are very attentive and take the time to ensure everyone understands the lesson/skills. They are able to effectively control large classes of children and maintain a good learning environment. My daughter is excited to attend every class. Thank you TCA!

This was one of the few martial arts academies I tried and the one I stuck with. They don't lock you in with a contract, you can see the passion the coaches have for teaching MMA with the kids AND adults. All the coaches treat the kids great. My son gets sad on the days he doesn't get to go because the comraderie there is nothing short of amazing. The adult classes are laid back but serious at the same time. They will go around and help each individual understand the techniques being taught and explain WHY techniques work the way they do which is huge. Can't say enough good things about this academy and would highly recommend anyone of any age to come here to begin their martial arts journey.

The instructors are beyond helpful and take their time to make sure that everyone understands the skills that they are teaching. They show realistic situations with defense so that you know how to protect yourself outside of a gym environment. The environment is really friendly and everyone, including other students, are extremely helpful. I definitely recommend this gym for adults and children!
