Impulse Martial Arts

I had a wonderful time attending a kempo class - as someone who had no prior martial arts experience the sensei broke down skills well to help me better understand something I had never done before. Everyone in the class was very friendly and welcoming! I will be happy to attend classes in the future.

Went today for a self defense class. I learned so much in two hours. I can use this information to keep myself safe and my daughter safe. Ramsey was amazing. He was kind, but he was serious about what he was teaching you so that you could truly get away from someone if you had to. I would take this class again, and I would recommend middle school and up to take the class as well. Thank you Ramsey!!!

I held off reviewing Impulse Martial Arts until I had attended training long enough to form a valid opinion. After 4 months, I am confident that my initial enthusiasm for actually being taught Ju-Jutsu hasn't biased my evaluation. Sensei Veitch has earned my respect for his well rounded knowledge, demonstrated skill, and teaching ability. I have too many examples of his effective teaching techniques to remark upon here; but he clearly instructs to each students needs. As to my training mates, we are a very diverse bunch of people. Our common goal of self improvement provides for instructional and collegial camaraderie. The dojo itself is ideally located, clean and comfortable.

The Sensi’s continuous training with his own teachers, helps make his knowledge and understanding of the martial arts always evolve, which betters the impulse students. There is never time for complacency!
