Overall great gym, large space, great amenities and classes, and good challenging setting through out. I do however have a major complaint about the top rope situation. The ropes are left with several extra meters of slack that is left to drag on the ground and get in the way. Supposedly this is because “we need the slack so we can make the ropes last longer and shorten them as they see use”, if that is the case then please explain to me why no other gym in the entire continental US partakes in this frustrating practice, a small amount for slack is understandable, this much is just sloppy. Most recently they have decided to put top ropes on nearly every lead climb resulting in a highly frustrating lead climbing experience where rope is left lying all over the ground, stepped on and often left laying on the concrete while the rope drags on your back since there is nowhere to tie it off. On top of all that for being a brand new gym the ropes they are using for top ropes are unusually stiff in many places. I’m unsure if the spool they purchased prior to opening the gym is just a bad batch but it’s unfortunate to see such a poorly handled top rope setup throughout the entire tall wall section.

PRG is awesome. The staff are friendly and helpful. The setting is challenging and forces you to think outside the box. They have a good mix of comp and traditional climbs, and I would totally reccomend them to others.

Are you lacking texture in your life? Look no further! THESE WALLS and THESE HOLDS will bestow upon you a sandpaper-esque experience like no other! IN FACT, I may start bringing my fine woodworking projects in for some finishing touches on the 80 grit fiber glass grips. It’s not just the TEXTURE to love about this place but also the SPLENDID STAFF, state of the art facility and tension board 2 of course. DISCLAIMER: please be prepared for increased approach times between routes and sectors of the gym because this place is HUGE! And be careful with all that TEXTURE!!

You have to see this gym to believe it. Beyond the sheer size of it (it’s the largest climbing gym in the Pacific Northwest) it’s so well designed! It’s got a great layout, and great locker rooms and weight rooms, and TONS of included weight training classes and yoga classes. The route setting is always creative; there are always new routes, nothing gets stale. Furthermore, the staff have been helpful, kind, and the facilities are always clean… I could go on. But I’d be wasting your time. Go buy a membership: you’ll be glad you did.

Very solid new gym. Spacious, clean, nice range and variety of bouldering routes. Rope area is a little heavy towards lead but some good top rope options for folks. VERY helpful and friendly staff - easily the best part is the staff.
