I recently signed up my two children at the Oregon Gymnastics Academy to take the introductory test and see if they would enjoy it, and I must say—it’s fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and affectionate, making you feel right at home. The teachers are absolutely amazing; they are not only professional but also great with kids, showing patience and enthusiasm every step of the way. The facility itself is spotless and well-maintained, which immediately stood out to me. It’s clear they take pride in providing a safe and clean environment for children to learn and have fun. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering gymnastics for their kids. It’s a great environment, and my children are already excited to go back! Let me know if you’d like to adjust anything!

I took my 2-year old here during my maternity leave for my baby, and she loved it! For the youngest level, I love how it’s flexible and kind of open play, but also optional, flexible structure. I love how there’s a separate room for the little kids. The instructor was wonderful and so patient. They have rotations of themes for the obstacle courses that last 3 weeks at a time.

My kids went here for years. Inconsistent coaching, they'd actually get progress reports that they were getting worse between quarters. Started out great, but OGA started packing classes and hiring young, inexperienced coaches who aren't attentive.

My son went to OGA and absolutely loved it! The staff is so understanding and helpful. The coaches really work with you and your child’s needs. And the office staff was always very easy to work with when we would need to do a make-up class. Overall this has been a great experience.

Enrolled my daughter in the ‘Glow Worms’ class for toddlers. Class is 30 minutes long. There are two instructors in the class, they ‘show’ you what the activity is once and then for the rest of the activity essentially just stand around. That’s after you spend 5+ minutes on an icebreaker that also don’t really teach any skill. In an activity when one child has to go at a time, everyone else is just standing around waiting while their toddler is running around because obviously, they have very short attention span. Why not break into small groups so we can maximize time in an already short class? Little to no guidance so the parent is left to teach their child on their own. Why pay for a CLASS when they’re not even teaching a skill? In the last two classes, they ended class early so the class was only 25 minutes, at best. The instructors are nice but lazy. If they weren’t lazy, they would be active during the class and walk around to each and every student giving consistent instruction and direction. After all this time is advertised as a class, not open gym. Tuition is 4 classes per month once a week for this class. If they cancel a class (such as for Spring Break), they don’t refund that class. Rather, you have to wait for a month that has 5 weeks in it to get that class back. Voiced all of my concerns to the Executive Director and she never once apologized. Clearly, reading other reviews I’m not the only parent that has had a negative experience with OGA and they don’t seem to care or want to make any improvements based on our conversation. She gave me a refund for the two remaining classes I paid for as we have no intention of attending one of their classes again. That was her quick solution. Don’t waste your money on this facility as there are plenty of other good options in the area and you’ll just be left disappointed.
