Lake County YMCA Central Branch

One of the best YMCA’S in north east Ohio I love the locker room space, weight room, gym and the steam room. The jacuzzi is the perfect temp and the pool is the perfect size. I will definitely be back one of my favorite gyms to visit 👍🏻

Had a membership here for a long time, brought my kid here for pre school/daycare. They were aware that my son has a disability as he is on the spectrum. After barely two weeks and many phone calls home along with missed work they turned him away because he has a hard time with transitions basically. On top of this the staff recommended a school for “kids like him” that is permanently closed. I feel like my son was basically discriminated against because of his disability. All I got back from them is “It’s not fair to the other kids.” Well what’s not fair now is having to try to explain to a 4 year old why his school didn’t want him. Would never recommend this place they do not care about those with disabilities.

Instructional pool use to be open between the hours from 11 to 1 for little kids. Now it has late hours and in afternoon when there are a lot of school age children making it hard for the under 5 crowd

Wonderful center for the community. Received a great tour by Matt. Registration is nice and easy. It's beautiful , neatly organized. I love the fact that my son was able to take a pool safety class here with his classmates. All my questions were answered, so many things to do. Staff is professional following Covid Guidelines. Keep up the great work! Excited to return! Highly Recommended!

I love the family environment of the ymca. My kids can maintain a healthy lifestyle here and workout which is so important for them!
