My three day review at central location: (Day, one as a guest 1/19/25) The Assistant Manager Jared was amazing he seemed to understand what customer service means. He showed me around and provided a full gym experience which made me comfortable to get the black card membership! So he definitely needs a promotion. I came next day (1/19/25) as new member and the Assistant Manager was there with the same positive energy. He was treating everyone with respect. Now the here is why my review is three stars instead of 5; so I came in on (1/21/25) The store manager was there in which I didn’t know however I thought this company says there is a no judgment zone, mind you this is technically my second day as member. I open up the app in my phone, scanned and proceeded to start my workout process. In the store manager stopped me if with a little bit of attitude and asked me to re-verify myself. In which I questioned him as to why is he even going that far he says I had no picture yet, and again this is only my second day. So I ask him what is your reasoning especially I came in once with my own phone use my own app and was able to provide information to him about my account and he goes to say what if you stole that phone and was using it to steal a membership!!!!! Not only did the store manager made me feel highly uncomfortable, but to be accused of stealing my own phone to use for a gym membership is absurd. All because I didn’t have a picture on file yet!!!!! Again this is day two as a member. So for this to be a store manager who placed negative judgment and falsely accuse someone a Theft on my own personal phone and membership, even verifying all of my credentials. The store manager definitely need to take notes from the assistant manager on customer service and retention because his judgment energy in a “non-judgment” gym does not match. Indefinitely brought the experience down and do not look forward to ever seeing the store manager again.

Staff is always friendly, always keeping up with cleaning. We love working out here! Thank you for everything you do to make the gym an inclusive space! Management is doing a great job. Best Planet fitness location in Charlotte.

The staff is great; machines are quality, and the place is clean. They only have 3 smith machines which aren't near enough. Always waiting for one. The layout is ludicrous. They have the cardio and weights split between floors when they could have easily put one on the first floor and the other on the second. Since they're split, you have to continuously go up and down the floors to complete your workout, when it easily doesn't have to be this way.

I appreciate that the staff at PF Central are friendly and knowledgeable. Today I was greeted by name (excellent customer service) and really impressed by the personable atmosphere in here!! This is my home gym and there is a closer planet fitness to my apartment, but I choose to drive the extra miles to go to this specific planet fitness because of the positive atmosphere!

I love working out but I hate when people try to steal from me I have the basic plan card that charges 15 per month y’all did good my first month but this second month y’all went nuts and try to charge like I had the black card I’ll say this location is a scam due to what happens I like to talk with facts and proof of the matter everyone watch your transactions since it’s easy for them to just take your money I’ll file a report with my bank and report it as fraudulent since it’s easy for them to just place any amount to everyone that depends on cards please be aware of this scam that they doing might not be everyone but with a few hundred out of millions that are registered in this place it’s quite an amount be aware of scams and the planet fitness on central avenue have to be aware of your transaction this is just to cause awareness to y’all
