Alan is a excellent professor. He taught me how to safely detain students with his art. He made my entry into brazil jiu jitsu easy. Thanks Alan.

Five stars is not enough! Professor and his staff are a very dedicated team! Professor has the upmost respect for the students, as well as the parents! He ensures the safety of all. He takes the time to carefully and safely teach the moves. He is very attentive to the students needs and addresses any concerns immediately. We have known Professor for over 12 years and any time his name or the name of his dojo comes up in conversation it is nothing but very positive and with high respect! Dragon's Den is a positive asset to the community! Highly recommended!

I can’t thank Professor Allan more! Before we had to move our family to Maryland for work, my daughters were Jiu Jitsu students at Dragon’s Den. He was patient, understood what they needed and gave them the confidence to be the best versions of themselves. We miss his guidance but will take the skills he taught all of us wherever we go!

My son attended here for a little over a year. It started out well, and progressively turned into a problem because children were allowed to play around and misbehave. There was one family in specific who had several children enrolled and they were clearly favored because they were putting more money into this place than we were. One of these children were particularly rough and didn't properly perform techniques when paired with our son. We asked Professor Alan TWICE not to pair them together because the child had hurt our son. For a little while he respected our wishes, and one day decided to pair them together without our permission or knowledge of. During the class the other child hurt our son's back and made it pop and knocked the wind out of our son. He couldn't breathe and started to cry, and we were never informed of what happened. Professor Alan avoided us like the plague and the only reason we knew anything happened was because our son had told us. We took our son to urgent care to make sure he was okay, and thank God nothing too serious had happened. He had a sprained back and was in pain for almost a month. We stopped going there after that because we realized that money is more important to him than the well being of his students. He never even came to talk to us about it, we had to reach out to him, but when Halloween rolled around (before our son had gotten hurt), Professor Alan made sure to get up and run out to the car to let us know if we were going to attend the party that it would be 20$. We see where his priorities are. We also spoke to a lawyer who advised us that we couldn't do anything at the moment because there was no fracture or break, but that in the future if he has back problems, we may have a case because everything was documented. Gracie Jiu Jitsu, do better.

Signing my daughter up was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only are these classes building my daughter’s confidence, the classes are teaching her discipline as well. My daughter loved it from her first week and she’s picky. Lol. Friendly environment, family oriented, just simply great overall. Highly recommended.
