I found out about retro fitness from some of the dads at my son’s school. Suddenly they all had muscles and kept talking aboit this gym they found. The facility has been there for 7 years and i just had no idea i was missing it while walking right by it. Im not sure who owns the gym but he must be a nice guy because the staff is all super friendly and great. The gym is huge and there are many amenities, it’s also very clean and spacious. I can kinda disappear if i want to and not be bothered. It’s really nice. I really am enjoying the space and my time there.

I’ve been working with a personal trainer at this gym, and the results have been amazing. The trainers are encouraging and push you to meet your goals. The gym is clean and well-equipped, though it does get busy during peak hours.

My husband got bounced out of his membership account at his gym Retrofit in Park Slope. After much effort we wanted to say that the District Manager , Lisa Imbriale was so instrumental in restoring his membership so he could return to this gym ! It’s refreshing to see that capable, caring people do still exist in corporate America !

You know when you sign up they say it’s very easy to cancel? They make it as annoying a thing just as you would think. Anytime during my cancellation process no one should be telling me you didn’t read this and this thing in the contract.

Tons of equipment, never crowded no matter what time, huge space. The overall amenities of this place is light years more than what you get at a blink/crunch or any typical NYC gym. I have no idea as to who is complaining about the equipment or facilities because unless you are paying 240-400 for an equinox or lifetime membership you aren’t going to get better. If you go to the gym to lift weights this is the spot.
