Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Morristown

I truly cannot recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Morristown enough! My husband and I came to an open house about 7 months ago and have been dancing ever since! The instructors and the welcoming and positive environment they create is what makes coming to each lesson, party, and competition so much fun. In the short time we’ve been dancing here, we’ve progressed through the Fred Astaire syllabus and learn new steps in different dances and how to truly make each dance look effortless. I never thought I’d be dancing - let alone ballroom dancing, and getting to share a this hobby and sport with my husband. If you’re looking for passionate instructors, look no further than Will, Jeff, Alisa, Thea, Vanda, and Dima. Not to mention their fabulous front desk manager, Cristina, is so friendly and helpful for booking lessons or shopping for dance shoes!

Highly recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Morristown! My husband and I decided to take dancing lessons so we could feel confident, comfortable, and relaxed during our first dance. They helped us choreograph our first dance and learn basic dancing skills. The staff is fantastic, they make lessons fun, they are very knowledgeable, and everyone is so welcoming. Our dance lessons were a highlight of wedding planning and they will continue to be date night activities for us throughout our married life!

The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable! They instruct you at your level which makes it super easy to learn from them. Each instructor has a slightly different technique and approach which adds something different to your lesson each time you go. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to dance.

We're now at almost 3 years of lessons, and we've gotten pretty in to it. We're taking multiple lessons per week, which has turned into some intense workouts. We're also now competing together and with our instructors a couple times a year. The instructors are all awesome, and have helped me make some great progress. We look forward to our lessons every week.

Thea and Will were amazing instructors! Without much time before our wedding, they helped us hash out a plan for getting a lovely dance routine ready for our First Dance. They were patient, but persistent - which was exactly what we needed, since neither of us are very good dancers! Trust the process - they taught us the basics, put the pieces together, and in our last lesson even helped polish the routine in a way that really elevated the whole thing. Their style and attitudes really gave us the confidence to rock our first dance and stay out on the dance floor the whole night! We had so much fun learning with them and we loved the outcome! The classes themselves were super fun and we looked forward to them every week. We're so grateful they helped us create such an amazing memory with our first dance!
