Mayweather Boxing + Fitness

My friend and I signed up to do the 6:15am class yesterday morning. Upon arriving (5:55am) I seen all the lights off. I thought that was strange, I seen other cars in the parking lot so I just waited. 6:15 rolls around and nobody shows up still. I thought maybe I missed something so I checked my text messages from them, my email and my call log and I have nothing from them informing me that class was canceled. I called yesterday and left a voicemail and here it is the next day and I still have not received any response from them. I heard from my friend who called them back to back and finally got an answer that the instructor overslept. If that was in fact the case, why didn’t they call me and try to reschedule and apologize for the inconvenience?? I got up early and drove there and was actually excited to be highly disappointed. First impressions are everything and this was very unprofessional. Bad for business. We were going to sign up for memberships but now we aren’t and that’s unfortunate. I hope that in the future you guys can communicate better when things happen that directly affect your clients and/or potential clients.

I love it here! I tried other local boxing gyms but they weren’t for me. I walked in and immediately felt the difference. I love the high energy and appreciate the different skill level of each certified instructor. The diversity helps me to become a better, more confident, well rounded boxer.

I love this gym! Great atmosphere, great people, great motivation. The most fun I’ve had getting/ staying in shape. Nothing but positive attitudes all around. Would definitely recommend

BEWARE of signing any contract with this gym. They are liars and thieves. My husband signed a contract for himself and our son a year and 5 months ago. After the 3rd visit we had family issues and did not return. We honored the contract and paid faithfully the entire contract. When the contract was up they continued to debit our account. We went to the gym countless times to advise that the company was continuing to debit the account. They continued to lie and say we needed to sign paperwork that doesn’t exist to continue to prolong the situation. They are also now adding to the deduction an additional $20 on top of both deductions of $129 each for both my son and husband. All we get are stories that go nowhere. Promises that are never completed. A new story every time we go. If we didn’t have our bills connected to the account we would have closed this account 5 months ago. We are reaching out to lawyers and our bank at this point. Such a terrible experience! If I can save anyone the hassle and shed the light that this place has no honor. They are out to get all they can and can care less what impact it has on an already struggling family.

Can’t say enough good words about Coach James’ class, knowledge and staff. That’s my monitor reading of 2 hours worth of class, in one sitting. As someone looking to get serious about the craft of boxing his knowledge and sense is INCREDIBLE. I normally train 2 hours a morning on my own and get about half the results on my best day. Also I’m a southpaw and typically that makes pad work a challenge, man he knew it OFF THE BAT. So much so I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE HE WAS IN SOUTHPAW STANCE FOR ME. Super impressive how he can Taylor make a group class my wild guess is from a lifetime of love for the sport of boxing and the love of teaching the craft and the love for people themselves. WILL BE BACK 10/5 stars
